We really liked this hotel. Good price point, about 1.2 km from the city center attractions and plenty of hot water in the shower. More water than most hotels in the states! There is a rose garden that is very nice and our room was nice and quite. Stop thinking about it and book it

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our room was large and comfortable (there were three of us). The bathroom was beautiful, with a large walk-in shower, full size bathtub, and large sink area. The breakfast was nice with the typical Italian items and a few extras like fresh squeezed orange juice. The breakfast room was a bit small, but in the warmer weather they open the large doors to the patio. The location was good, close to the old center, but quiet. We can't wait to returne!

This boutique hotel is located on Via Gallo, within walking distance to San Marco Church, the Duomo, Baptistry, Bell Tower, Santa Croce Basilica, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, -- you get the drift - fabulous location. We were fortunate to be in a newly renovated room which was beautiful!! Balcony, two bathroom areas - one with shower and sink, and the other with commode and sink. It made it easier for my husband and I to get ready in the morning. Room was large, plenty of storage space. Desk a... Read more

Myself and my partner stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 nights and both absolutely loved it. The staff were brilliant - really friendly and more than happy to help. Giving us recommendations on where to eat and helping us with out transport back to Pisa airport. It is perfectly located with it being just a five-ten minute walk to all main attractions, restaurants and bars. We upgraded to a room with a view which was definitely worth it. My friend and I stayed at this hotel in early May. Initially we were very pleased. The bedroom was nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Reception staff were exceptionally friendly and eager to help. Nothing too much bother. It is also situated in close proximity to the Duomo and all Florence has to offer. However towards the end of our stay my friend noticed that 3 items of clothing had gone missing. She started doubting herself and did not make a fuss at the time wanting to double chec... Read more

We stayed at the hotel for 6 days in May at a superior room with a balcony. The room was very nice, large and clean. Everything was perfect. The service at the reception was very good and always with a smile. We had problems with the WiFi at the room the first two day but it was fixed as promised. Location is perfect in a quite are a bit away from the stress but stil a short walk to most attractions. Breakfast was good and served in a small but nice restaurant.

A friend and I stayed here from 3/27/16 to 4/1/16 during Easter. We had a great stay here. We upgraded to a junior suite with a view of the garden after reading several other reviews about the hotel. It is centrally located. Just a few minutes walk to the San Lorenzo Market, Mercato Centrale, and the Duomo. There are several buses that service the area that you can catch around the corner in Piazza San Marco. Our room was big enough for both of us. The bathroom was beautiful. The room itself had... This hotel was nice with an extra large bathroom but you could hear everything through the old wooden doors. The king sized beds were two beds pushed together as well. The hotel looks far from the Duomo, Arno and Ponte Vecchio but is a 10 minute walk. There are numerous great restaurants and bars just south of the hotel on the same street.

Beautifully-decorated and clean hotel. Friendly, helpful staff and lovely breakfast. Great location in the University area with several good, reasonably-priced cafes and restaurants nearby. We stayed in the junior suite. It has one enclosed room with a toilet and sink. It also has a separate bathroom with a shower and another sink, but the walls are glass, so there is no privacy. We requested a couple extra bedsheets and hung them on the wall and shower door. Once we resolved that issue, we love... Read more

We stayed here for our initial night as part of a small tour. The room was small and sparce (but medium size for european standards) with two twin beds pushed together. The location was good and the breakfast was very nice (included). We were in a room on the ground floor on the courtyard. The courtyard setting was pretty but our room was average and lacked character and decor. This hotel was great in many ways. The property is large and updated, the front lobby is comfortable and has computers to use, the courtyard is beautiful, the upstairs/outdoor bar is lovely with a nice waitress. Your first drink is free. Our room was a renovated room and very clean and comfortable. I was here for a week and I enjoyed my stay very much. The hotel offers free umbrellas for usage and free popsicles by the front desk. (I wasn't a fan of the green minty flavored ones.) Our room was very large compared to the other hotels I had stayed at. I really loved the balcony area.

Its a decent hotel near the city center. Some of the rooms in the hotel are dated. The staff at the front office is nice. Breakfast is nice. The staff in the breakfast room are very nice. If you get a room on the top floor then you can get a nice view. The room size is OK. We were upgraded to a room with balcony.

We had a very enjoyable stay here. Our rooms were on the ground floor with entry from the garden courtyard. I would not recommend ground floor rooms that are off the main hall as there was a really bad odor that smelled like rotten eggs. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast buffet was always well stocked with typical European breakfast options. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Florence.

The hotel is lovely and situated about a 10 minute walk from the Duomo and many other places of interest. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. We were very touched by the very nice bottle of sparkling wine and the card wishing us a happy anniversary. The room was their most basic so didn't have a nice view but was very comfortable and had a good bathroom. I would happily stay here again.

This hotel is beautiful from the moment you step in their doors. It is well located, easy to get to the main sites of interest and also to some great restaurants. The inside courtyard is also beautiful and there are nice places to relax. I stayed here with a large group of my family members for three nights. The location was very close to the train station and the Accademia gallery, and most other main attractions are easily walkable from the hotel. I stayed in a junior suite with my mom and two young children, and we had more than enough space for all of us to relax. I especially loved the waterfall shower and the powerful A/C! We got a free drink coupon upon our arrival, which enjoyed on their beautiful patio. The only reason I am not giving it a 5-star rating is because our room (#3) was right by the breakfast hall, and we were woken up at ~7am every morning due to noises related to that.
