We stayed there as a base to watch the MotoGP in May 2016. The hotel was spotlessly clean and we were pleasantly surprised. The check-in was simple and there was complimentary water in the room. On the first and second nights we ate in the hotel restaurant and had drinks beforehand in the bar which is adjacent to the restaurant. Although the staff were very pleasant the service was incredibly slow and this became very frustrating. At the bar, every time we wanted another drink we had to 'hunt do... Read more

The hotel is far away from the town. We thought we choose the hotel that we expected, but not. Anyway I like this hotel and location is next to the river . Especially nice river view. Staffs need to improve the service! I realized that to share comment. I have been there with my family since last year for holiday.

This is the perfect little hotel, just on the outskirts of Florence, so very easy to get to. Once you are there, the hotel shuttle takes you in and out of town so no need to worry about your car. The rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. We had an extra bed put into our deluxe double room for our daughter and there was still plenty of room. Loved the jacuzzi bath in the room. The breakfasts are great and served til 11am so no rush. We also enjoyed lunch around the pool and a dinner one ... Read more

We stayed for one night at this fabulous hotel. The staff were helpful and the rooms were spotless and impressive. The food was lovely. The hotel is on the outskirts of Florence, about a 20-30 minute walk from the centre, however the Hotel put on transport to and from the hotel twice a day, dropping you just outside Palazzo Vecchio, which is very helpful. I would definitely return.

Came here for our honeymoon in June 2016, the staff is very accommodating, very friendly. The spa is amazing! Loved our room and GF dining in the Flora & Fauna restaurant. The restaurant staff, while not completely GF trained - was accommodating and was able to make adjustments - the fresh food they cooked was amazing. We opted for the Inferno, Purgatorio, Paradiso treatment

I apologise at the outset that this may be a little long. Almost all the reviews we read before booking here were full of superlatives. And rightly so. We booked in for 30 June. this is rightly designated a 5 star hotel. However it almost has more the feel of a sumptuous private villa . This is true for the decor and the layout.. We arrived two hours before check-in. So we used the glorious little spa area. The hydrotherapy pool is exquisite. It almost has the sense of being in a magical subterr... Read more

The hotel offers boutique luxury with lovely little features such as complimentary soft drinks at reception and dressing gowns in the room. I really wanted to love this hotel but unfortunately my husband and I were let down by their service. We stayed for 3 nights overall and having stayed at 5 star hotels across the globe, I felt that they were lacking in this area. This hotel is amazing! The deco is beautiful and the room is spacious. We got a room with a balcony overlooking the river. The service is impeccable and the bed is very comfortable. We also tried the water SPA and the steam room at the lower level of the hotel, which is nice to have when you feel tired after all day's traveling. The only regret is that we didn't have a chance to try the restaurant in the hotel, which is supposed to be very good.

The air-conditioning system in the room would switch off at random intervals through the night, making conditions rather uncomfortable. We reported the problem the next morning; when we got back to the room in the evening, there was no update. The issue persisted. When contacted the next day, the lady at the reception said that a technician had looked into the matter and when he had come over to the room, there was no issue at all. So the implication was that we were hallucinating or lying. End ... Read more

Having stayed in a number of hotels from the likes of Mauritius to Dubai I have to say that this has so far been the best. With still 2 nights to enjoy I felt it so important to let people know about our stay so far. From the moment we arrived we have been made to feel at home. The staff are fantastic and always have a smile on their face. From the mini sweet jars on offer in reception to the amazing gift set available in your room, everything is catered for. The spa. This hotel is simply beautiful. Very clean. The spa is amazing. I had a room with a small balcony that overlooked the Arno and it was just so pretty. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent. Great food and amazing service. The hotel staff was helpful but a little stuffy. The hotel is located a bit outside the the city so it was nice and quite. Be prepared for a 30 minute walk to the heart of Florence. Or you can ask the staff to call a cab.

This hotel is very nice. The staff is a little reserved but very professional. In the reception area, they have candy and water available which was a nice touch. Our room was a little small but did have a balcony. Our room and balcony overlooked the front entryway of the hotel and was near the street. As a result, there was a lot of road noise. You could not possible sleep with the door open. The restaurant is very pretty but expensive. The bar area was nice and we were the only people i... Read more

I've stayed here for 3 night with my family. Location is nice. Breakfast is perfect. They have 4G wifi modem guests can take it as free to use internet outside everywhere. The amassing things for my son was, they have some bicycles for guests to look around also is free. For sure I'll choose this hotel while staying in Florence.

I've just spent five nights at this lovely hotel with a friend of mine. What a great discovery! The hotel is located overlooking the north side of the Arno river. Although it's about a 20 minute walk from the centre of Florence, it is well worth it. If you don't fancy walking, the hotel lays on a shuttle service into town. One of the appeals of staying in a boutique hotel as opposed to one of the large branded ones is that you are made to feel very valued by the staff. Marta, Camilla and the ... Read more
