Perfect location for visiting the wonderful city of Florence. Love the old world charm and pleasant staff. Beds were very nice for Italy where I often find the beds and bedding lacking. Happy other reviews steered me here. Hope to return!

We booked a room facing the piazza and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of opening the shutters and taking in Florence. Our room was in period theme with modern touches. We enjoyed the music of a busker playing in the piazza. The hotel is conveniently located to the train station and it is an easy walk to the city's many attractions. Be sure to visit the Santa Maria Chapel - the entry fee is well worth it. When booking a room asked to not be near the lift well.

The staff so nice n helpfull. Only the aircond sometimes working n sometimes not. So, we need to open the window at nite otherwise a bit warm..

This was one of our stops on our 2 week Italian honeymoon. Having only spent one night here I wish we were staying longer. We let the hotel know it was a special trip for us, and they went out of their way to make it a very memorable experience. Our room was upgraded to a view of the square, there was a chilled bottle of prosecco with fresh strawberries waiting for us upon arrival. Then after walking around the city for a while we came back to find rose peddles all over our bed. The hote... Read more

Our travel agent set us up with this hotel, which is located about 300 meters from the train station. It had beautiful rooms...ours faced the famous Doumo which was not more than 1500 feet away. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast (served until late morning) was fabulous. Florence turns out to be a totally walkable city, safe and fun to explore. I found a street market about three blocks away where leather goods were for sale in abundance, a wonderful restaurant just out the front door... Read more

We checked into this chic boutique hotel in the piazza Santa Novella Square and were immediately impressed with its uniqueness. Our room looked like a painting from a European palace, the staff was outstanding and we were centrally located by being close to the train station and only blocks from the Duomo. The roof top view was spectacular. I can't say enough about this quaint hotel. I hope to return again.

This hotel was in such a great location. The staff was so amazing. We stayed here three nights. They were very knowledgeable of where we should eat. Everyone was so professional. We had an amazing room with a balcony overlooking the square. We had so much fun seeing the Duomo, eating lots of pizza, drinking great wines, going to a pizza and gelato cooking class and let us not forget the shopping. I love Florence and will stay here on my next visit, which is in November.

Absolutely loved this hotel. We were a day late thanks to weather delaying our travel plans. The hotel couldn't book our missed night to another guest, so we were charged for an extra night, but they upgraded our room for us as a courtesy. The included breakfast is amazing - we were blown away by the decor and the offerings of food, it was absolutely fantastic.

We loved our stay at this hotel. We stayed in a superior room and were more than happy with it. Good size, comfy bed and an amazing shower. The room even has an ironing board and iron (rare so far in Italy). Breakfast spread was fabulous. Good, functional gym if you like to workout. The location is spot on - walking distance to everything. 2 minute walk to train station. A wash and dry laundromat just around the corner.

My family stayed here six years ago and loved it so much we returned. My son is now 14 so we booked the second floor family suite which is two rooms with a connecting interior door. Yes, it's the price of two rooms but a must have with a teenager. It seems like everything is just a few steps away from the front door - restaurants, shops, bus, train, basilica, people-watching, grass, and of course gelato. My husband and I spent three nights here in June. We loved our room. We stayed in #404 which is a corner room overlooking the square. From our window you could see the mountains! The view was terrific. We could open the windows and listen to the music playing in the square. The staff was very helpful and our breakfast was included. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is right on the Piazza and most of Florence is walkable from here. Good shops and restaurants nearby. You can also walk from the train station. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was a family room, very nicely decorated and spacious with a view of the piazza. The breakfast was good. The only drawback was the beds; they were a bit hard. If they updated the beds and pillows, it would be the absolute perfect place.

Great location walking distance to the train station and many attractions around Florence. Markets across in the square sells some interesting food produces good for a quick bite. Hotel itself is charming and feels full of history - which comes with rooms and furniture that are slightly dated. Decent breakfast provided with helpful staff.

As well as having a terrific location, just a stroll from the railway station, Santa Maria Novella, the duomo and other major attractions, this hotel is welcoming and comfortable. Our room was at the back so the view wasn't as good as forward facing rooms, but it was quieter and we slept very well. The public rooms are small but sumptuous. Be sure to see the Napoleon lounge!
