Conveniently located in the middle of everything. The place is clean and the staff is always ready to assist you (since there's no elevator, they offered to take our luggage at no cost to the rooms). The building is a little old and requires some refurbishing, and the breakfast is very limited. But as other guests said already: you get what you pay for. We left happy and wouldn't mind to come back in the future. This is a perfect choice for a 2-3 nights stay in Firenze.

Stay three days in Florence at this hotel. No elevator in this hotel booked thru an online site, top floor room given with five floors to climb up. Room are tiny but comfortable, strong wifi and good air conditioning unit ! Continental breakfast is decent.

Great location between the train station and the historic centre. Friendly receptionists. But the room was the size of a closet, the bed uncomfortable, bathroom so narrow we had to sit sideways on the toilet, and the worst was having a room on the fourth floor, up a tiring flight of stairs (no elevator). There were also strange sounds in the hotel that made it difficult to sleep. Maybe because we were there on a long weekend, we had to pay 100 euro a night for the room, but certainly not worth i... It is not V.I.P. hotel!!!!! so if you want to have a luxurious room won't book it! This hotel is very very ordinary with small rooms, without elevator (the reason of this is just ancient building). but! the location is excellent - 3 min walk to Duomo! my single room (with own bathroom) was clean, there were several towels, even soap and shampoo! there was a breakfast. and all this for 35 euro per night (it seems that I was lucky to catch some special offer, but I've caught it twice in different... Strenght: Little Hotel in very good position. Middleway between rail station and Cathedral square.Staff very kind. Good breakfast. No noise from outside. On the walls posters of famous italian and Hollywood movies. Very original! Weakness: Bad smell in the lobby.

A small, but very clean hotel. It was perfect for my stay, I was in Florence for 5 days so I didn't have a lot of luggage. One of the best things about the hotel is it's location (only like a minutes walk from il Duomo/ the center of the city). That made it very convenient for me to explore the city on foot, no need for public transit. They also offer fresh complimentary breakfast which is a plus. And the staff spoke very good English so communication was very easy for me. Highly recommend!

We found this hotel in the middle of Florencie by accident and it was a good accident. Easy to find, very nice front desk, however room quite tiny. As we are young couple, the size or forniture is not big deal for us. Wouldn't recommend for family with kids. Just a few steps from main square-which was our requirement. Little bit too easy breakfast. All in all good :)

We found the hotel just walking around , and found it casually, we were looking for a good price , and were so lucky to stay there, really nice stuff . They were very helpful showing us the main attractions in Florence. The rooms were nice abd there was everything we need. Reccomand it totally!

Spend two nights at this nice centrally located hotel. Valet parking (at additional cost) got us safely off our rented car. Very nice staff for hotel services and tourist advice. Small but nice and clean room - breakfast service running full speed until 09.30. Absolutely value for money.

We chose this hotel mainly because of its location. It's 2mins walk from the Duomo and 5mins walk from the train station. Very convenient. However, the building was very old (as most of the buildings of Florence) and there was no lift while our room was on the 5th floor. We're glad the staff helped us with the baggage. But it was difficult to climb the stairs during the day to have some rest. Overall, the service was good but they definitely need some renovation. The room was clean but it was so... Read more

I went through booking.com and thought I held the reservation as opposed to booking the reservation. Tried to contact hotel immediately and spoke to Armondo who is rude. I explained to him that I was just trying to hold the reservation as opposed to booking it because I am not sure I will be able to be in Italy (booked airline ticket 6 months ago) regarding a dying parent. I asked to speak to his supervisor and he told me the manager was not available for a week. I do not trust a hotel who ha... Read more

Traveled to Florence mid June of 2016. We choose this hotel because of its walking proximity to Florence's historic and boutique shops. 2 Minute walk to il Duomo, other historic sites, restaurants and night clubs. The stay was comfortable and the staff is very knowledgeable of the area and city's hidden spots. Had a great stay and also met the business proprietor. Who would often advise the best places to see and visit.

First the location is perfect, especially coming from the train station it is literally a 5 min walk following one road. The hotel is also very close to the centre of Florence without being too close to be busy and noisy of a night. The rooms are of a good quality and comfort and the staff where great with any questions and happily provided us with extra pillows. The breakfast was nice and had plenty to choose from. If going to Florence on a budget this is a perfect hotel.

I am a budget traveller. I don't care if there is a flat screen TV or if there is no room service. Truly. But when a hotel says something is part of the room I expect it to be functioning. The hotel is in a charming old building with fantastic old movie posters on the walls. The gentleman at reception was really friendly and helpful, and I was feeling quite positive. Even the narrow staircase with all my family's luggage didn't worry me. BUT. The A/C although producing a cool puff of air ju... Read more

This is a budget hotel located in a fantastic area in Florence, very close to some of the main attractions most of us will visit - the dome and train station are just a few minutes away on foot! For what one is paying, this is actually a very good deal, and the old movie posters spread throughout all corridors and rooms give a very charming feel. Although the stairways are narrow and vertigo-inducing, the staff if extremely friendly and willing to help carry luggage upstairs - those staying on ... Read more

Although close to the train station and the major attractions in Florence, this hotel left us less than happy. Our room was at the top of 4 flights of very narrow stairs -- no elevator -- and the room itself was very small. None of this caused our unhappiness, however. The major problem is that the hotel faces out onto a very, very busy commercial street. The large window that faces out onto the street is double paned (smart), but has only the sheerest of drapes across it. At night, the neon... Read more

Hotel Romagna was run by several but Armando and Elton were the absolute standouts. They gave us the best advice where to eat and shop. They were spot on for all our needs. Myself and my 11 year old son had a feast everyday on recommendations made by these boys and the shopping was just delightful. Location was absolutely perfect but the only fault I can truly say is that maybe in the past we have always been spoilt with a bar fridge. A fridge is always handy for your cold waters and fruits... We stayed here one night and really enjoyed it. The staff were extremely helpful and polite and the room and ensuite were fine. We were on the top floor.......90 steps up! You need to be fit to stay here! Our window looked out over the rooftops and a dome. The location is perfect. We walked from the railway station and after leaving our cases we went exploring. We were at the Duomo in a few minutes. So central to everything. The breakfast was good too and the staff very helpful in recommendin... Read more

The best (and probably the worst) feature of this hotel is its location. It's just 2 minutes walking distance to Florence Duomo and similar short walking distance to other top attractions in Florence. It is about 5 minutes walk to Santa Maria Novella Rail Station. As it is, the location of this hotel is tough to beat. Why is the location probably the worst feature at the same time? As it is very centrally located, you cannot do away with noise, as rooms face a busy walking street going to Duomo.... Read more

The hotel is located right in between the main Florence railway station and the Dome. So it take about 5 minutes to any of those. It is very handy for late arrival as it is also has a 24 hours check in desk. The room I had was single, rather Spartan, with in suite and window to the street. There are a few points to consider when you stay in this hotel: Pluses: Extreme value for money - you get very clean, decent overnight, logistically sound for the price of lunch and this price includes normal...
