The staff is really nice ans willing to help. The hotel suffers from bad sound isolation, humidity and lack of renovation. Bed was OKish. Bathroom presented moisture and hideous smell from humidity. Room overall dirty ans not cleaned. If you have no choice, a night is managable.

I will NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN! This place is nasty. The rooms are filthy and molding. My folks got bit by bed bugs. My room smelled heavily of smoke and the A/C didn't work (which if you have ever traveled to Florence its really HOT) the night auditor was sleeping on the floor in the morning when we checked out. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!

Truth be told the hotel doesn't look like much and neither do the rooms. It is really low, low budget. They seemed to be clean though and my stay was good other than the fact that the WiFi never worked. Location wise it is not great, but it is not terrible either. You have to take a bus to the city's historic center but they're frequent and the ride isn't long. Doing it on foot takes around 1 hour and there's nothing to see on the way so I don't recommend it. The staff however was one of the f... Read more

We had to spend one night in this house of horrors because the hotel we had originally booked with, said they had overbooked the hotel and had already lined this place up for us. Don't ever let a hotel do this for you. And to top it off, the original hotel made us pay them instead of the hotel we were ultimately going to stay at. This is not an acceptable practice and never fall for it. It was clear the two hotels had something going with each other. Our first mistake was paying them, our s... Read more

I'll be honest. I booked this hotel due to a little mistake. It was fairly cheap and I thought I had looked at the map to see how central it is. When we got into Florence we decided to make the first stop to the Hotel, when we saw the outside of it our stomachs fell a little bit. It does looks rather shoddy on the outside, and on the inside it looks like it hasn't had a makeover for some time. It's also over and hours walk from central Florence, but there are buses to take. But... The service... Read more

We were already in Florence and in a hurry to find a place to sleep in a few hours. Hotel Real was the first one that appeared on Booking for 50 euros per night. We didn't care much, so we booked it immediately. The hotel is located at the end of town, in a fine neighbourhood, easy to reach with navigation. The staff was very friendly and welcoming! The hotel is old,as was the furniture in the room. The bathroom was big enough, but the shower was in a small and potentially dangerous bathtub with... Read more
