Hotel Pendini is located in very good place of Florence, piaza de la repoblica. We got a very comfortable room, clean. Good breakfast. Helpful staff. tip: take a room which is not in the side of the piaza.

Rooms were clean and were kept clean. The location is perfect; in the center but you notice nothing. Breakfast is fine; is completed properly. The staff is helpful and friendly. The bedroom is cleaned every day and the bathroom has a nice shower

Great service! Amazing people. The nice lady in the reception was so kind and so helpfull. The rooms were spotless clean. Breakfast was great. Tasty and fresh. We loved it! The location is the best. The manager of the hotel was so friendly and welcoming and was really interested in the well being of his guests. At breakfast he greeted everyone and he really cared. You dont see this kind of caring and service anymore. It was a joy.

Large comfortable rooms in a great location. Short walks to the key sites in Florence. Organized, knowledgeable, helpful staff. I'd stay there again. Great breakfast. The only downside is the small elevators.

Hotel Pendini sits right on the Piazza della Republica. This makes for a great central location within a ten minute walk of about every site you would want to see. The Duomo is about five minutes away. The hotel has a nice & simple breakfast. After being at the Rome Marriott, it was quite a bit less - however - compared to 90% of Italian breakfasts, it was superb. The Rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and I would stay here again.

My wife and I stayed at the end of May 2016. The hotel is fantastically situated right in the centre of Florence, and a short walk to most things you want to see. The building is magnificent, although there are some renovations going on and the view from the room was slightly spoilt, but not enough to reduce my rating of the hotel. The photos on the stairs give you a real sense of the history of the area. The room was fantastic, large, with high ceilings and a great bathroom. The staff couldn't ... Read more

We stayed here for 3 nights. We had booked the family room (for three adults) which had two bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with two single beds and one common bathroom, with one decent spaced closet room. The decor of the room was very Florentine and tastefully done, it was clean, with good housekeeping and with a nice hot walk in shower. There was no mini bar, but really who needs one anyway? The best thing about this hotel is the location. Central with a capital C. All the major ... Read more

We stayed in this beautiful hotel for two nights and we wish we could have spent more time here! We stayed in room 410 which is positioned near to the breakfast room. Our room was decorated gorgeously, it was a rather spacious room for an inner city hotel. To top it off the shower was one of the best I have experienced. The hotel is only a 10 minute walk away from the train station and in the heart of Florence with a very short walk to Cattedrale di Santa Maria del Fiore. The staff were all very... Read more

We loved our stay here! We got a very spacious, clean room with a large bathroom facing the piazza. The hotel is in a super central location - just a 5min walk from the Duomo, Uffizi, and Galleria dell'Accademia. It was the perfect base to explore the city for the weekend. The AC worked really well and kept the room very cool at night. The free breakfast in the morning had good basic options - pastries and yogurt/fruits. The only downside was the noise from the piazza at night - there was loud m... Read more

Totally agree with Shannon B from Tulsa. Our family stayed in 418 too. Perfect set up. Peaceful nights sleep. Top location. Superb breakfast. The artist in the square painted a picture for us of the view from the square. Great restaurants all around and so close to all the major attractions. Staff were so helpful and cheerful. Definitely recommend and we shall be back. There is a lift but our kids liked to race Daddy up the four flights of stairs. Great for burning of pizza.

The hotel was well located near Piazza della Repubblica, a hive of activity. The hotel is very quiet (helpful for a good nights sleep). The communal areas are comfortable, peaceful and offer culture (with interesting photo story of the history of the hotel and area around the hotel). The food at breakfast was good, but the tables were tightly packed together and there is no evening option for food at the hotel. The rooms were clean, comfortable and functional. The staff were ok, although at time... Read more

This is a fantastic hotel in the Piazza della Republicca which is in the heart of the beautiful city of Florence. Room and communal areas tastefully decorated, bed very comfy and staff very pleasant and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was great with a good selection of hot and cold food. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a good hotel in the centre of the city.

Very good location, walking distance to alot of tourist attractions, very close to a various dining places, close to Hard Rock Florence, can even walk to train station (it is even across the street to LV store!) Rooms are quite spacious as well and our room was newly renovated that while the hotel still shows its historical past, it still provides a modern feel in their rooms. T&B are quite modern. Friendly and accommodating staff, good breakfast. Definitely a good hotel to stay in if you... Read more

Situated in the Piazza della Repubblica, Hotel Pendini is superbly located, being a 15 min walk from most major tourist attractions. The hotel management are very friendly and welcoming, and are pleased to assist you with any such queries that you may have in relation to your visit; in particular, the owner gets to know his customers and is always willing to give advice on what to do and see in Florence and the surrounding area. The triple room has a fantastic view of the piazza. The hotel is located in the heart of Florence, walking distance to everything you would want to see and visit in Florence. This hotel came highly recommended by several friends so we were very excited to stay here. There was a slight glitch with our booking that was not the hotels fault or mine - it was a booking.com issue. This meant the hotel wasn't expecting us for another day and unfortunately they had no room to accommodate us. This could have been disasterous but the manager handled it swiftly, had us checked into another hotel a few hundred metres away, hand their porter take our luggage straight there and... Read more

This hotel is located right off a main square in the beautiful city of Florence. It is centrally located to all you want to see. The room is comfortable and the bathroom is a decent size and clean. The continental breakfast offers a nice selection to start off your day. Staff is very friendly. We stayed here for 4 nights. This is a very nice property which I would recommend for anyone looking for a very centrally located option in Florence. The rooms are well sized, as are the bathrooms (which is not always the case in old European hotels!) Our bed was comfortable (slightly hard by American standards) and they provided plenty of pillows. There was also a nice lounge/couch in the room which I suppo... Read more

Me and my boyfriend stayed in Hotel Pendini in Florence and loved it! It is a historic hotel that has been around for centuries and has just had a new re-vamp and renovation. We stayed on the second floor which was just recently completed and the amenities and décor is impeccable. We are stopping in this hotel for one more night and it is very nice, centrally located, la duomo is just around the corner, as is the Ponti vieccho. Breakfast is both cooked and continental, in an adequately sized dining room, and the bedrooms themselves are functional, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean as is all of the hotel. An ideal place to stay.

This is an exquisite hotel and beautifully decorated to keep hotel modern but with a nod to olde world charm. The breakfast was one of the best I've had in Italy. All types of croissants, Brie cheese, salami, bread, cereals, granola, eggs and bacon and pastries. Always full and nothing ran out. The breakfast staff member was so lovely and courteous and always offered a coffee as soon as we came in. The Hotel Pendini (formerly a historic Pensione) is located right on the Piazza della Republicca, one of Florence's major meeting places, although technically it's in a side street leading to the square. The entrance is unimpressive and could easily be missed and the reception area is on the 4th (top) floor where the lounges and breakfast rooms are located. This seems to be a bit odd but there is a dedicated lift (at the end of the ground floor corridor) as well as another in the middle of the... Read more

An amazing hotel in the heart of Florence at exceptional value. We had the room that looked out onto the square with a balcony, the room was huge and extremely comfortable with an incredible bathroom. The breakfast was fantastic (served with a smile both from the waiter and on the cappuccino), the staff were friendly and the mini bar was very well priced. Will definitely stay here when we return to Florence.

Had a family room with 2 single beds down stairs and a queen size bed upstairs, only 1 bathroom, beautiful decor, clean white sheeting and towels. I was not mad in the loose carpets, felt they could do with a replacement, breakfast continental only. No lift so be prepared to lug your heavy cases up the stairs. Nice location, water taxi and gondolas on your door step.

We stayed here July 5 - 7 and loved it. We had the most amazing room (422), which I have to say, walking up the staircase to get to this room is well worth it. We had a balcony that oversaw the top of the Duomo and private enough that we could sit outside and relax with some drinks. The hotel was located in the center of everything so you can't go wrong.
