My family and I stayed at this hotel in July 2015. The hotel was a great choice for the prince. It was about a 10 - 15 minute walk to the city centre and located in a safe neighbourhood. The breakfast was very good and the view from the dining room was excellent - typical Florence view with the red rooftops and church steeples. The staff were friendly and made a really good recommendation for a restaurant that used to be a opera house. The rooms are basic and the beds not necessarily the mos... Read more

Cant fault this hotel. Lovely people great breakfast. One night some young girls came back drunk but were told to be quiet. I approve of this as there are other guests in the hotel. . I would advisor anyone to come here as its in the middle of most of the sites to be seen in florence. Sat upstairs on terrace few afternoons and enjoyed the sites

At first glance I thought we were in the wrong place. The hotel does feel like you're entering a private residence. The hotel begins on the first floor of the building, with a small elevator which on one or two occasions wasn't working. The hotel provides a continental breakfast which was alright, but what makes the hotel great is the location. There's a beautiful view of the Duomo from the breakfast room. Such a view of the city was delightful every morning. The room was big with a decent size... Read more

A wonderful boutique hotel very close to the Academie, but within walking distance to every major site in Florence. There is a cab stand about a block away if you're going to the airport or train station. The view from the breakfast area is stunning so be sure to go up to the top floor outside areas for beautiful views of Florence.

Amazing breakfast veiw. Ive been to a lot of places the veiw is awsome and down the road to a awsome bakery turn left out of hotel straight down cross to mcdonalds and its down at the juntion. The cathedral is worth the climb. ?15 for tower cathedral museam and santuary. Hotel rooms were basic we had 3. Ours had damp on the walls but who cares your never in there. Walk in shower. Staff so nice. Breakfast was perfect buffet. Tiny lift for like 2 people so we took the stairs everyday ...not whee... Read more

Baths are old, rooms are small - but this is a great budget option because of the good location, EXCELLENT breakfast and wonderful views. Somewhat surly staff used to dealing with busloads of clueless tourists. One absolutely lovely cleaning lady whose enthusiasm and hard work make up for the other women. Someone has gone to great trouble to create charm with murals and decorations, and its does work.

Ok so this hotel is a 2* and it feels that way. The beds are not the most comfortable and the bathrooms are definitely compact BUT this place is a good budget option. The room was cleaned daily and there was a great terrace view of the Florence sky line. The staff are not the nicest but they are helpful and will give recommendations plus once you've checked out you can leave your luggage there for the day. If you come expecting luxury you will be disappointed but if you want a place to sleep and... Read more

We enjoyed our stay here - was only overnight, but the hotel lived up to its name with amazing views in all directions. I enjoyed the hand-made craft from upcycled items that you might throw away. Quirky and beautiful. The communal living area and terrace garden was amazing. We had it to ourselves for around an hour before anyone else came out. We ate some dinner we'd bought on the way back out there and watched the sun go down over Florence - spectacular. In the morning we had breakfast in the ... Read more

This was my favorite hotel in Italy! First off, the location is great - it's about 10 minutes from the Duoma, so it's slightly out of the busy area and quiet. We reserved a triple room and won the jackpot by getting Room 16, which had a huge, private veranda with amazing views of Florence. The room is spacious and includes a safe and refrigerator. The breakfast buffet is good sized, and the hotel also has a bar area by the lobby. The hotel is very unique and nicely done. I would highly recommend... Read more

I stayed at this hotel with my wife and it was a great choice. The hotel is nicely located in a quiet neighborhood but is still easily within walking distance of all the sights in Florence. The staff was friendly and the room was clean and comfortable with modern features. The highlights are the look of the hotel which is decorated in artwork that is available for purchase as I understand it. Also the breakfast has a great spread with a fantastic view as it is located in the top floor of the bui... Read more

The hotel is located within walking distance of most of the major points of interest. The reception greets you with a smile. The room was with high ceiling, beds and bathroom nice and clean, nice complimentary breakfast, free room wifi, best value for money. I will strongly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is 400m from the duomo, so less than a 10 mins walk, which is great, because you are away from the noise. We requested a room with a terrace, so the view from there of the skyline and the rooftops is exactly what was expected. We were on the 5th floor, so we had a good view. The air cond in the room wasn't that efficient. The shower is tiny (pretty typical of small European hotels). The decor was arty and quirky - probably had its days, but still good fun. The breakfast in the t... Read more

This hotel is situated within about 500m of the cathedral, so virtually everywhere in Florence is accessible on foot. The rooms are cozy however not too small and the staff are lovely; always happy to help at any time of day. The Decor of the hotel is homely and in keeping with Florence as a city. Would definitely stay here again

This hotel was in perfect location. We were able to walk to many of the great sites. Staff were lovely. Breakfast room overlooking Florence was amazing. The rooms were clean and well kept. Bathroom was larger than most. Decorations were ecclectic and fun to view. Price was reasonable.

I liked it here. The building is a bit old, but the location is good. The best part is the breakfast. The food selection was great, and the view from the dining area is breathtaking! The hotel has character.

The staff at Hotel panorama were lovely. We had trouble with our booking when we arrived due to our travel agent and the ladies on reception did everything they could to help us out and find a solution! The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast selection was excellent. The hotel also has a very beautiful and underused terrace on the top of the building with a truly panoramic view of Florence. Very good for star gazing. Location was also good with everything in walking distance and a bus ... Read more

This was a lovely hotel with much needed air conditioning, nicely decorated rooms and a comfy bed. There is a rooftop terrace as well with a lovely view of florence. The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. My only criticisms would be the wifi signal and the breakfast was a little disappointing, although they did have some gluten free options.

Very central close to all the best attractions in the city in a 5 mins walk. It's nice, the rooms have the best air conditioning I've ever had in a hotel, they have been recently refurbished and are nice and home like. Would definitely recommend this hotel as it's great and also affordable.

There is nice and friendly staff who are ready to answer your questions, and serve your needs. The room was clean, and breakfast was very tasty! Thank you, hotel Panorama. You are the best! Hotel was close to most site seeing activities. On arrival there was no sign saying lobby was on the second floor or to let you know you were in the right place. After about five minutes a grumpy lady came down to tell us to go to second floor. We emailed ahead requesting an early check in with reply saying okay but when we showed up we had to wait until the official check in time of 2pm. While traveling outside the USA we depend on good WIFI for family connection and check in, the WIFI was d... Read more

We went to Florence by car and need to park. The recepcionist told us that we were fined only because we stoped near the hotel to take the luggage from the van... then he told us they work with a garagge and wanted to charge us 35? per day for parking. We did not know were the garage was...he told us...someone would pick the car and return the car two days later...(imagine what they could do with the car!!!). I booked this hotel (as a solo female conscious of my budget) based on the trip advisor reviews and the hotel's claims that it was in the centre of Florence. I also booked it as it was one of the most reasonably priced in an expensive city. My stay wasn't terrible but I don't think I would stay again. My first complaint is the staff - all the women I encountered were rude and cold on my arrival and departure, and I felt really unwelcome there. For a hotel that says it prides itself on its costum... Read more
