This hotel exceeded my expectations. The rooms were beautifully appointed and the location was amazing. It was right on the river with views of the Ponte Vecchio . The lobby and restaurant were gorgeous with beautiful art. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond when I left my carry-on case at the hotel and they delivered it personally by cab to the train station. If in Florence again I would definitely stay here.

I first stayed here in 2011 visiting my oldest daughter who was studying in Florence, I Went back to Hotel Lungarno this April to visit my youngest daughter who was also studying in Firenze! I was so happy to be back and was greeted by a staff member who I remembered from my first visit! Luxury and loving care at it's best. Fantastic staff from the front of the house/reception, bell/valet, restaurant/breakfast/bar staff, housekeeping all amazing. Ferragamo Family‚?¶keep it up! Grazzie Milli

Lungarno has long been a well known hotel in the Florence region. The service is up to par and the internet connection is flawless. As a matter of fact the internet connection is active in all the Lungarno Collection hotels and restaurants all over the city. The concierge is informative and attentive. The decor is old school but still got that timeless style. I feel that the breakfast really has a lot of room for improvement. Not a lot of sections and over priced. You can get the same thing... My husband and I travel constantly for business and we try to add a few days on for RnR. I have lost track at how many hotels all over Italy we have stayed at. The Lungarno by far is the BEST hotel we have stayed at in Europe. We've stayed at most of your 5 star hotels and beautiful monasteries in the countryside. The location is the best and most importantly it's very quiet to sleep at night. You do not hear cars, motorcycles, no bars nearby with drunk people. The hotel is set back on the Arno ... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights as part of my husband's 50th birthday celebration. We had stayed once before for his 40th, and were jut as thrilled with the hotel this time round. Its location is just spectacular - the view of the river and the Ponte Vecchio is stunning, and it's an easy walk to all the Florence sights. We were upgraded to a wonderful duplex room, for which we were very grateful. My only negative is that you're paying a lot for the room, no matter which type of room you book, an... Read more

The hotel is all good in terms of staff, location, views and breakfast. The service provided was very professional and always upto the mark. There is nothing much that I can write about this hotel but it is definitely a good choice if you are willing to pay a bit more for your stay in Florence.

My wife and I stayed here every year for 6 years in the late 90's so eager to see how things have changed. Things have changed, they improved from perfect to perfectly divine. Traveling now with our son (10yr old) the hotel and staff made us feel welcomed in true Lungarno style. Comfortable luxury and warm hospitality greet you from the minute you walk through the door. Owning a business leaves little time to plan excursions but not to worry, the hotel plans the most creative day trips and in ou... Read more

We had two beautiful rooms at the Lungarno, both of which were amazing--one was a studio and one was a standard "relaxing" room. The studio had 2 bathrooms with an upstairs loft for the bed, and a day bed downstairs for our daughter. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and very nicely furnished. Our rooms did not face the river, but get one that does if you can -- the view is great! The location of this hotel was great -- just a couple minutes' walk to Ponte Vecchio, and within very easy ... Hotel Lungarno is located right by the river, perfect for a romantic vacation - the view is stunning! Breakfast was great & it makes a difference when you start off your day with a good meal. They offer bikes for hire which is perfect for a day tour around the city. Staff were nice and welcoming, room was clean! The only downside is the wifi connection doesn't always work and only work in certain area in the hotel.

We spent a wonderful night at Hotel Lungarno, great location and beautiful hotel and rooms! Service was spectacular, very professional, and the rooms were very nicely decorated and well-appointed. The bathroom was large with plenty of space and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything about the hotel is small but charming. The elevators barely hold three people; in one awkward moment I was the third person in the elevator with a husband and wife who were fighting while I was literally 6 inches from their faces. That being said, the setting is gorgeous; the lobby is very comfortable to sit and relax with a gorgeous view of the river. The staff knew our names and room numbers without fail from the moment we arrived, and got us dinner at our restaurants of choice bot... Read more

We have stayed at the Lungarno twice before, but this is our first review. Certainly we have returned because we so love it. This visit was outstanding for the personal attention we received, and the beauty of our suite with a breathtaking view of the Arno, the Palazzo Vecchio, the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio. Who could ask for more! Do not miss the newly opened museum of the works of the Duomo. Spectacular. We are already planning a return trip - and look forward to the warm welcome from our sp... I mostly remember the "Straciatella" gelato, the leather market, and the whistles from cute Italians bc they smit' over blondes. Fast forward to my 40th, it was time for a long awaited trip back. We stayed at Lungarno. (Correction: we were supposed to stay at the Magnoni Feroni down the block. Hotel has truly amazing location. Staff was great and extremely helpful. Breakfasts have a variety of different types of food - whether you prefer fruits and healthy staff or local specialties. Our room was overlooking narrow streets of the city, not the river. But still thanks to cozy balcony with plants in the pots and spacious seats made it feel truly luxurious and unforgettable.

Hotel Lungarno is a stylish, beautiful hotel situated right on the Arno with views for days. It's convenient to so many sights and museums. The staff is gracious and very welcoming. I arrived to spend one night in Florence after a week in Cortona. When I checked in, the gentleman at the reception desk said, "we have a surprise for you upstairs!" And they certainly did! We recently stayed here for four nights and we could not have been more delighted. The location is steps away from the Ponte Vecchio, but because it is set back off the street a bit, it felt secluded. The Hotel Lungarno was an exceptional experience . The accommodation is superb, the location is amazing we walked everywhere and we were surrounded by amazing shops, restaurants and cafes and within easy reach of all major tourist attractions. The best of all was the five star service we received from each and every staff member - nothing was too much trouble and they all went out of their way to ensure our very need was met. We simply loved this place. I think we got lucky, our upgraded room on the 6th floor had a huge terrace overlooking the Ponte Vecchio bridge. The room was snug yet efficient and super clean and tidy. We were only there one night, regrettably, so did not fully explore. Since the parking is challenging, I loved the concierge, they understood and anticipated what was needed. We didn't take breakfast, but it look very good. This is a must do and made our final night in Florence one to enjoy.

Entire staff is the best lead by Simone at the front desk! you will be treated like a king! 3. No other hotel is facing the river and steps from the ponte vechhio! four seasons you must take taxi too and st regis is cvold and not friendly. 4. Rooms, food everything about this hotel is pure perfection.. Nothing is below par about this hotel...Nothing!!!

While the location of this hotel is unbeatable (right on the river), the hotel is starting to look a bit dated and run down. For the price point, I would expect more. We had two connecting rooms, one with a terrace over the river. The rooms were very small but the bathrooms were very nice. The carpets are starting to become very worn and there were cigarette butts in the potted plants on the terrace. I would certainly recommend this hotel with the caveat that it is good but not great.

The Lungarno is a treasure of a classy, small hotel. I cannot think of a single thing that could be improved. The optimal location, the exquisite views, amazing comfort and style of the rooms, the extraordinary and sincere service all made for a memorable stay. I am a hotel junky and very rarely find one that meets my particular standards. I just might move in. Grazie per una meravigliosa esperienza!

I can't find enough wonderful things to describe this hotel. We arrived in the mid afternoon after all of our luggage was lost. The hotel staff suggested we sit on the terrace and have a glass of Prosecco. All our cares melted away as we sat on the edge of the Arno and gazed at the Ponte Vecchio. The hotel is on the quiet side of the river but still close enough to everything. We spent an enchanting week there.

You could borrow one of the hotels bikes too. The rooms are small but cosy. The rooms with the view looking over the river and city are breath taking and well worth the extra $$ spent. It's probably the best situated hotel in Florence. Everything is clean and tidy. Lobby is nice, the breakfast restaurant is ok. Rooms are old and need a facelift.
