Located near the train station and shops Everything was perfect. From the location to the staff. The rooms were nice, clean and modern. Free Wifi access. Parking was a big plus. The breakfast was very nice too. We'll stay there again with pleasure.

The lobby was nice, the staff was friendly and spoke English well, and the breakfast buffet had a variety of items to choose from. I even dined at the hotelā??s restaurant for dinner one night and was very satisfied with how my dish was prepared and how fresh the ingredients were. My room came with a large balcony but that didnā??t compensate for how HOT it was. It was so unbearably hot every night during my stay here I had to open the windows to sleep. Unfortunately there were no meshes on the ... Read more

We spent 2 nights here while visiting Florence. The location is perfect and within walking distance of all major sites, shopping, and restaurants. BUT, it is really really in need of updating - bathroom tile was chipped and old - still had old fashioned 'keys' for the room doors that you were asked to leave at the front desk every time you left the hotel. Air conditioning was non existent - we had a control in our room, but it was so very hot every night! Windows did open, but street noise ma... Read more

My sister and I stumbled upon Hotel Londra after 2 nights in a B&B with very loud traffic noise & 3 flights of narrow stairs. The hotel staff at Londra treated us so well! The room and adjoining bath was spacious, quiet, and luxurious. The hotel's restaurant was elegant, & the breakfast (included) was unbelievable! Londra also has a happy hour with delicious food included. Lastly, the hotel's location is right around the corner from the train station, and their policy allows patrons to store lugg... Read more

Great hotel - very good prices - breakfast was perfect - clean rooms. Only odd thing is a few sets of stairs in the corridor on our floor so made lugging the luggage awkward but for the price, location and value a fantastic stay.

Visited this place for 5 nights for a city break! Lovely hotel! Perfect location!, food was lovely! Amazing lasagne in the hotel!, bar had some lovely drinks! Lots of men working in hotel, and as a women felt like being stared at a lot by the Italian workers, felt uncomfortable at times!, but apart from that rooms were lovely! Balconies and air conditioning was lovely! Would Probably return!

This was a holiday to celebrate our Silver wedding anniversary and we felt really disappointed by this hotel. The staff were so unfriendly we couldn't believe it. When we arrived there was no smile or greeting we were just asked for passports and given a key. Our room was clean but stark and when we tried to make a drink the kettle leaked all over the table and floor. I went down to ask for a new one but when the cleaner came she filled it, shook it and said 'no leak' and left. We had to boil i... Read more

Recently renovated room - good size with all needed amenities. Excellent buffet breakfast. Our room faced onto a fairly busy street with trams and was noisy at times. Situated close to the City (about 10-15 minute walk). Overall a nice play to stay.

Londra is just a 5 minute walk from the train station making it very convenient .The staff is courteous and the hotel is always buzzing with activity as it caters to big groups like Cosmos etc. The breakfast is good and rooms are decent size The reception is kind enough to call for a taxi to save you from the walk to the station curb where you can find a taxi

Unfortunately I have to agree with some previous reviews. Really quite abrupt reception staff (in general), and some, actually quite rude. This unfortunately detracts from some of the very nice staff including those in the bar and breakfast areas. I had room 116. Extremely noisy room and decor tired. The bathroom needed grouting and generally needed updating. The website pictures certainly didn't reflect the room I had. I could hear flushing of toilets and running water/showers from all angles ... Read more

This hotel was had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient since it was within walking distance of the train station and main sights. The room we were in had a wonderful view. Breakfast was included and was okay. It was a buffet that included many options. The only criticism I have is that the walls are thin and we could hear people in the room beside us speaking. The staff was friendly and spoke English.

We stayed here in July with friends from Australia. The rooms were very clean and well decorated. The staff polite and professional but the bar staff were a little hard to find at times! The hotel was close to the main train station and not too far to walk to the main attractions. Breakfast is buffet style, with a good range of options.

Just returned from a business trip, the hotel was booked for me and look fine on the website. I was alone travelling and the website boasted that they catered for lone woman travellers, with free upgrade and room service. None of this was mentioned when checking in and I even had to ask where breakfast was and the timings. The room was beyond basic, very tired! The bathroom was desperate for a refit, there were cracked tiles on the floor and the shower cubical left a lot to be desired. The hotel... Read more

Centrally located next to the Main Train Station. The hotel is excellent and great breakfast. Has a tiny gym. Hotel offers expensive parking, but you dont have much choice. The area around it is a bit boring with scarce shopping. You'd have to drive or ride to the sights.

We really liked Hotel Londra! I wasn't 100% sure about this one when I booked it but we stayed on the 4th floor, our room didn't have much of a view but has been modernised and was great. Breakfast was included and there was a decent range to choose from on the buffet. The bar was fantastic with nibbles out every evening. The gentleman that runs the restaurant (I unfortunately didn't catch his name) was great and made dining an enjoyable experience, the food was good and well priced. The locatio... Read more

The location of the hotel was excellent - next to the station, a 15-20 minute walk from all the main sites in town. The breakfast buffet was quite extensive although the breakfast room was somewhat chaotic - pretty much a sit yourself down anywhere you can find affair. Still the serving staff were helpful and friendly. The parking with the hotel was excellent although there were limited numbers of parking spots. The front desk staff were professional but did not seem particularly engaged, they w... Read more

I booked this hotel through booking and having never visited Florence before, I had my doubts. This was by far the best hotel in all our trip! (Being also in Rome and Venice) The location is great - walking distance from the train station, but on the side street, so it's not noisy at all. Hotel is brand new renovated, and someone did a great job thinking about every little detail. We are family of four and took one room that was suggested by the booking.com. We stayed in this hotel from August 6 to August 9, 2016. It was a leisure trip. Hotel is located just 10 minutes walk from SMN Train station. Tourist buses for other destinations like Pisa, Siena and Chianti operates within the walking distance from this hotel. They have beautiful bar with garden seating area. You can find everything in your room that is required by an average traveller. They provide morning breakfast with Limited options for vegetarians. I will recommend this place.

I stayed here for 8 days and soon got to know the staff and the waiters, as they also got to know me. Very friendly staff in all departments. My room was comfortable although the view from the balcony was the back of the hotel - when the sun shone I could see the hills of Tuscany in the distance. The restaurant was very pleasant - breakfast was an extensive buffet - point to remember, if you want real coffee at breakfast you need to ask, other wise its simply black coffee from an urn. The ... This was such a good choice: - Best location 5 minutes away from train station and easy walk from there into city centre - very good quality - very clean - quiet rooms and good sleep quality - breakfast was good - staff were helpful - we took a triple room with a queen bed and one single bed and there was good room for us to move around.

He hotel itself is clean, modern and inviting but for at three day business trip was not a comfortable place to be staying in. My room was clean but the double bed I was offered was two singles pushed together with mattresses that I actually thought was a plank with foam. Actually removed sheets to look. The bed was as hard as rock, uncomfortable and the well used flat pillows made for an uncomfortable night. Not mentioning the two short curtains that can't be closed. Luckily I had a safety pin ... We booked Hotel Londra primarily for its location as we had booked two early morning tours and pick up was at the train station. It is a 5 mins walk to the station, and 10/15 into the centre of Florence. The hotel is clean, lobby is bright, a classic style with a bar , bedrooms are minimalistic style. We all thought breakfast buffet was very good and both breakfast staff and bar staff were very helpful. Our only gripe was that we felt that through out our stay the reception staff did not enga... I stayed at the Hotel Londra for two days, and I can report that this is certainly not a 4* property. While the public areas seem to have been refurbished, my room was small, dark, charmless and run down. The bath was adequate, though it flooded each time I took a shower. The front desk staff was not particularly helpful, and, though the weather was quite warm, the air conditioning had been turned off. On a more positive note, the outside garden area is very pleasant. I stayed in this hotel for one business week. The majority of the meeting room are in the basement without windows and the private rooms are very noisy. Furthermore the reception desk organisation is not really efficient, you must wait a while every time you have an inquiry. The overall evaluation is poor for business travelers. It is probably the perfect choice for American old tourists, due to the location and the breakfast food selection (i.e. pancake)

I love to travel, and I'm not one to complain because... you know... travel is amazing. But Londra in Florence was not an enjoyable stay and in my opinion, not a four star property. The rooms weren't clean (mold in the bathrooms), the beds were uncomfortable, the restaurant food was pretty terrible. I did not enjoy my two night stay there.
