From May 8 to 13, my wife and I had a tremendous experience at the Kraft hotel. Not only were the front desk people welcoming, courteous and helpful (one offered to arrange a change in our transfer pick-up time to allow us to have breakfast on the final day), but also the servers in the restaurant were extremely friendly and efficient. At breakfast, Roberto was always welcoming and served the best cappuccinos we had throughout Italy. The 6th floor terrace offered indoor and outdoor dining, and t... Read more

Really good rooms. Well managed hotel with fantastic roof terrace. The pool looks really inviting but is unheated so in april was not too tempting. The dining area spreads across the roof top terrace which has amazing views across Florence the surrounding hills. The reception staff are incredibly efficient in arranging cars, taxis etc and giving advice on local eateries.

Location. In a "quiet" tidy residential area that is only 10 minutes walk from the central train station. To walk to the main historic central area will take about 15 /20 minutes of pleasant walk!! About 4 minutes walk from the River!! Rooms: We stayed in a Superior double room on the 4th Floor. The room was large with a lovely little balcony and outside seating, perfect for soaking up the late afternoon sun!! The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were lovely and soft!! We recently returned from a 6 night stay at the Kraft Hotel. Upon arrival we were given an upgrade on the 1st floor but unfortunately there was extensive work on the neighboring building so we were unable to have the window open ,therefore little outside light. We enjoyed being in the quiet neighborhood near the river and the terrace and pool area were very nice with a gorgeous view of Florence. We also enjoyed the wide variety of food at the breakfast buffet. The hotel is well kept and the staf... Read more

Just returned from a wonderful week in Venice and Florence. This hotel is minutes from the railway station and five minutes walk from the ponte vecchio bridge. All other places of interest are close by. Our room was very comfortable and clean and had a nice balcony. Great swimming pool on the roof and lovely rooftop restaurant. Was so nice and romantic my partner proposed and I accepted!

There's much to praise about the Kraft Hotel, from the moment we arrived late on the Saturday night to the moment we left on the Saturday afternoon, we were dealt with professional and diligent staff. The location is very good (its 10 minutes from the train station - As a tip, just use google street maps to check out the route - its too easy to get lost with one missed turn) We had a triple (family) room which was clean, reasonably large and with a high ceiling. The only negative is the limited... Read more

The Kraft Hotel is wonderfully located, 5 minutes from the station, 15 minutes from the airport and a blissful 10 minute stroll to the Ponto Vechio along side of the River Arno. Neighborhood location a few blocks from the main city streets of Florence. Easy walking access to all locations. Close to the City Sightseeing bus stop and River. Rooftop breakfast offered a great view to take in the day and included meats, cheeses, scrambled eggs, breads, fruit and more. Valet parking was the best option if visiting by car. Room was comfortable with a large bathroom and small balcony for stepping out to sit and enjoy the neighborhood.

The food is also very good and the staff try to speak english, in an italian way. They are soooooo kind.

Beautiful Hotel, Great location- little dated in some areas and could be better kept overall..wouldn't call this hotel the 4* that it claims. Some issues with staff particularly on the rooftop terrace, we went to the restaurant on the second night off our visit and waited over half an hour for our orders to be taken in a restuarant that wasn't overly busy at all! My wife and I and several friends stayed for four nights while sightseeing in Florence. This is a great medium priced hotel in a very good location with a great roof top pool. The location is quiet and convenient- it is still a 15 min walk from the Duomo, but it is walkable. The room was lovely. The staff for the most part was friendly. What put it over the top for us was the roof top pool, restaurant/bar area for relaxing after a hot day sightseeing.

The Kraft Hotel has clean rooms, nice staff and it's qt walking distance from the centre. The food in the hotel restaurant is not good not bad. It's average (for Italians) The first night our room had water coming from the walls, and the staff handled it great! But it is not what they say they are. It's good, but not great. Ow The pool is very small, and when we were there, there were a lot of American guest. Very noisy and loud.

Nice hotel, located close to center. Rooms are spacious right and clean. There are balconies in many rooms. Breakfast is a bit boring and same everyday, but ok. Staff is very nice and helpful.During the summer you can enjoy roof pool.

Lovely hotel with two beautiful strengths. There is a rooftop restaurant with a fantastic view of the City, all the towers, spires and the Duomo. Also on the roof is a small swimming pool where you can cool off during the hot summer afternoons and as you swim again see the same fabulous views

I was travelling with a group and this was the allocated hotel. My room was comfortable and very clean. I was given a room for a disabled person as the bathroom had no shower curtain and there was also a seat where one could shower. Breakfast was served on the roof and we were afforded a lovely view of Florence. The breakfast was the same as was provided in every hotel we stayed at and was generous and well presented. I dined at that restaurant the next night and as well as enjoying the beautifu... Read more

Good location, close to the bridge Ponte Vecchio. Very friendly staff, at reception and in the restaurant, which I recommend. We had a family studio, which was very large and with a great atmosphere. Very clean and maintained. The restaurant and the rooftop bar and pool are amazing, the view leave you speechless! We will definitely visit again Florence and Hotel Kraft!

We stayed for 5 nights all good except having to ask for more tea and coffee and very hard pillows. The staff are wonderful each desk person being more helpful and pleasant than the next. Nothing was too much trouble the same in the restaurant. It was a very easy walk to the station taking 8 mins wheeling our cases. Being close to the river it was easy to orient ourselves and walk everywhere except on one wet evening when we took a taxi. As two older women we felt completely safe in the area. ... Read more

We stayed for 4 nights, the receptionist when we arrived was very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, comfortable and were cleaned every day. There was a free safe in the bedrooms. The breakfast were very good with smoked salmon, and typical English breakfast as well as cornflakes, yogurts, fresh fruits and the normal continental breakfast with a lovely selection of pastries and cakes, tea and coffee was supplied as much as you wanted, the waiters and barman were very friendly. On arrival the room we had been allocated was cosmetically in a poor state of repair with the heater/air conditioner souring like a "Harley Davidson" motorcycle. Our room was changed with no complaints, to a room of much more acceptable standard. The rooftop dining room gives panoramic views of the city. It is nice to have an evening drink in such nice surroundings. The hotel is near the railway station, but is some way from the city centre. Within walking distance, but after day sight seeing th... Hotel is close to the Station and to the River. Rooms are spotlessly clean, have adequate toiletries and an abundance of hot water. Beds were comfortable with crisp fresh linen. Breakfast is self service ..but a huge choice and all fresh. We ate in Restaurant one night and it was superb. Tea Bags not topped up in room is my only criticism! Great views from Roof Terrace. Quiet location.

Great Hotel. Friendly staff with a good breakfast. Stayed here with friends using this hotel as a base for exploring Florence. Only 10 mins walking to the train station and about 20 minutes to the cathedral. Very nice roof top bar and outside seating area, there is a small pool but we were there at the wrong time of year to use it. Found some nice restaurants and bars nearby. Would have no issue returning to this hotel again.

The Reception staff were welcoming; the reception area was warm and comfortable. The rooms were lovely and smart and the bedsheets were crisp and the towels were fluffy. There was coffee/tea facilities in the room. a very good selection of food for breakfast and it appeared to be a popular venue for groups. We went with three other couples and one of the couples was upgraded to a suite which was just marvellous.

Nice room--Functional with good location. The breakfast buffet was a nice surprise: nice rolls, pastry--cappuccino. Nice selection of salami and cheeses. The rooftop view was amazing. The service was great: When I took my cappuccino to the terrace--one of the wait staff immediately brought out a cushion for my chair and an ashtray.

I have stayed in Florence several times before and had better hotels right in the city center. I was with a group of people and we had numerous thefts. On woman had her purse taken in the restaurant and the next morning there was a knock on her door and her purse was at threshold. Her Passport and credit cards still there but all of her money missing. A gentleman's safe was jammed. A receptionist came to fix it. The following day, his money was missing. My room-mate had her new expensive America... Read more

Hotel staff are helpful and know how to speak English. The hotel itself is situation about 10 to 15 minutes away from the old part of the city (Ponte Vecchio and Duomo) but it's a nice walk along the river bank and if it's not raining :) The rooms are clean and nicely furnished with quiet surroundings. The hotel offers parking off-site facilities but if you are lucky enough, you can try to find parking in one of the side streets. Also worthy of note is the excellent breakfast. This is served... I took my wife here for our anniversary and the staff were amazing. We got a free bottle of prosecco and a room upgrade which was very generous. The breakfasts were fab and it was a nice location close to the train station and only a 10 min walk to city centre. The hotel was immaculate and had large rooms. Will definitely be looking to return here.
