Nice atmosphere, kind service, beautiful room, great bathroom, enormous breakfast, great location, nice bar. Location around the corner of the stunning Dom, but the street of the hotel is without the enormous amount of tourists. But th realadditional difference was made by the very kind and good staff. Form the luggage boy and clearing lady to the barlady, breakfastladies and the frontdesk alltogether.

Very clean room. Beds were comfortable with memory foam pillows. Everything was nice since it had been recently remodeled. The hotel is in a central location. Only down side is its right by the duomo which has crazy crowds but that's also a plus since it's close. Bathroom was very clean. Although the layout was very odd. The toilet is right behind the door and the shower door entry was in an odd position. It also had an odd blue light background. These are minor compared to everything else.

The Hotel Spadai is the perfect place to stay in Florence. The location could not be better. Situated at the edge of the pedestrian zone it is half a block from the Duomo. All major sites in the city are in easy walking distance, including the Pitti Palaceon the other side of the Arno. The hotel is super modern but in an old building. This is a really modern little hotel right next door to the Medici Palace and a stoneâ??s throw from the Duomo. Great place to stay. The rooms are super modern and comfortable Great bed, terrific bathroom with soaking tub and lots more. No view unless you go to the roof and then terrific view of the skyline. Terrific Breakfast with lots of chocolate of all things. Bar, but no restaurant, but plenty within steps of the front door. Great place to stay.

From arrival to departure I couldn't find fault with this centrally located hotel - literally 1 minute from the Duomo. You would be hard pushed to beat the service and friendliness of the staff in Hotel Spadai. It was great value for money and the room we had was immaculate, tastefully furnished and spacious. The bathroom was equipped with robes, slippers and the usual toilettries. In fact, overall this little hotel beats quite a few of the so-called 5 star hotels I've stayed in over the past fe... Spadai hotel was central to all that Florence has to offer. The staff were very attentive, the room was lovely and the breakfast perfect for a busy sightseeing schedule. This small hotel is great. Very convenient to major tourist destinations, immaculately clean, stylishly renovated, nice bathrooms, very comfy beds (not typical in Italy), attentive and helpful staff, first class breakfast, great wifi and quiet. The staff is extremely friendly, welcoming and sincere. Our visit started with a very nice touch by the receptionist. We booked two rooms but only one was ready when we checked in. They mistakenly gave us the room that was not ready yet. It was absolutely no big deal to us but later that evening, we found a bottle of wine waiting for us in the room with a letter of apology. Firstly it's in an incredible location, about 30 second walk from the Duomo and close to all shops and amenities. The service was incredible throughout and we even got upgraded to a deluxe room with us being on our honeymoon. The rooms were so well designed and all offered something different, being finished to the highest quality. Happy hour offers free nibbles instead of cheaper drinks which is a bonus when your a big eater. Excellent breakfast too! Could not fault this place in any way, could... Read more

The hotel was easily the best of our 2 week trip. Many nice modern touches like USB ports in the room for charging electronics, huge bathroom with high end finishes, comfortable bed and pillows. The room was very large. Free food for happy hour in the afternoon with welcome drink coupons we used the first night. Great location adjacent to the Duomo and easy walk from the train station. One of the BEST AC units in all of Italy. Breakfast was great and included a chocolate fountain among all the... Read more

Beautiful Hotel in a stunning location with views onto the Duomo from the observatory. Modern and elegantly furnished large rooms with stunning bathrooms. Picked it from other reviewers comments and it was quite honestly one of the best hotels we have stayed at. We'll be back!

1. Central location: 1 block from the Duomo; 3 blocks from Accademia; 4-5 blocks from Uffizi Gallery and Ponte Vecchio. Very convenient. 2. Very modern facilities: this hotel is very modern and clean; excellent large bathroom; very nice morning breakfast included with our stay. Our only concern was that the black out curtains did not fully reach to the top of the windows (but it was still fairly dark in the room at night.) 3. Very helpful and courteous staff: great recommendations; always willin... Read more

Hotel Spadai is a beautiful little hotel right in the heart of Florence. Our taxi dropped us off right outside the door. The bellman took care of our luggage as we checked in at the front desk. Sabrina checked us in. She was very professional, personable, and spoke excellent English, which was helpful. Our room was beautiful and actually larger than we had expected it to be. Plenty of room for two people with two large suitcases and carry on bags. We could see the top of the Duomo from our wind... Read more

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The location is amazing. Between the rainfall shower and the most comfortable bed you will ever sleep in and the complimentary mini bar including nepresso machine, it is hard to even leave the room. The hotel rates a 10 for cleanliness. This was my second stay here in as many years and if I return to Florence, Hotel Spadai will be my choice again!!!

We booked the hotel on recommendation from our son and certainly weren't disappointed. The staff were lovely, very helpful and had good knowledge of the best tours and places to eat in the evening; the happy hour with free snacks was a nice highlight as well! The hotel is well suited and within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. The room was very well appointed, excellent quality fit out with a turn down service and clean towels every day.

We spent 4 nights at Hotel Spadai and felt it was the perfect choice for us. First the location was the best, 2 minutes from the Duomo and all the restaurants and shops in that area of town. Our room was a spacious junior suite and was modern and clean. The mattress was extremely comfortable. The included breakfast was good with a large selection of items.

We stayed at Hotel Spadai last week and had an amazing experience. The staff was extremely attentive to our needs and questions and made great recommendations for dinner, etc. Their bar happy hour and "finger food" spread was a great touch. The hotel was extremely clean and they upgraded us to a suite room which was outstanding! To top it off, it is in a perfect location.

Hotel Spadai is above all else in a very convenient location in Florence. A decidedly urban location just steps away from (in every direction) many of the cities more desirable destinations. The 5 story hotel 55 room hotel's accommodations although not as large as other rooms we've stayed in Italy is understandable due to its convenient location in a city/business district of Florence. Booked the 'Spadai Suite' via the hotel's web site. To make it short... no spa services needed, thanks to a well functioning jacuzzi and gigantic rain shower.
