This hotel is a real find. It's small but perfectly formed! Firstly it's a great location. Secondly the staff are wonderful. Eager to help and very friendly. We were upgraded and had a lovely room. That made it great value too. Breakfast was good but not exceptional. Certainly sufficient. We have found many Italian hotels disappointing and expensive but this one is neither. We had 3 nights and we loved it.

What a delightful experience , steps from the hustle and bustle of Ponte Vecchio but tucked away in its own pocket of serenity . Cool funky bar with an amazing cocktailologist and cocktail list . Well appointed spacious rooms and luxurious . Roomy breakfast area and fresh produce with great coffee and friendly staff ... We are coming here next time we are in Florence

Beautiful hotel with great amenities and service. We asked for and received an upgraded room and it was so spacious and comfortable. I do agree with a comment that it can get cold in there, but you can turn it off to warm the room up. Breakfast is great, staff is great, rooms are great. They also had great recommendations for dinner.

When we were planning our trip to Florence, we wanted a centralized hotel close to museums, restaurants, and landmarks, but we wanted something a bit more modern and stylish. Gallery Hotel Art was just what we were looking for. This is one of several Salvatore Ferragamo properties, the Ferragamo family owns the entire block with their corporate headquarters nearby. Our room was their most basic interior room, but it was clean, quiet, well appointed, and had a controllable HVAC. The room design ... Read more

A cool hotel for cool people. The Gallery Hotel Art is quirky (the sometimes eccentric art sorts that out) but it's main attraction is the location, literally metres from the Ponte Vecchio (only its sister hotel the Continetale is closer) yet just a step back to avoid the noise of the tourists. The staff are friendly and attentive without being effusive. The rooms are fairly straightforward (there's no 'wow factor') but that's not a negative as overfussy bedrooms are nothong but window dressing... Read more

Modern, hip hotel in the heart of Florence only a 5 minute walk from The Uffizi. This is the perfect location. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Everyone spoke fluent English which helped us. When we arrived our rooms were not ready and we had reservations at The Uffizi, so the staff offered us complimentary drinks to welcome us and apologize that our rooms were not quite ready. Gallery Hotel Art was the perfect fit for our family vacation in Florence. Sleek, sophisticated but also welcoming with warm and helpful service and staff. Steps from most major attractions, it provided a calm, serene respite from the crowds. The Gallery Hotel Art is a wonderful hotel! My husband and I stayed here on our honeymoon and absolutely loved the experience. The hotel is incredibly well located, just steps from the Ponte Vecchio. The employees at the front desk were incredibly helpful. They recommended amazing places to eat dinner and were able to help us secure reserved tickets to the Uffizi. Rooms were very small and only had twin beds if you're planning on having 2 beds. Bathroom is also very tiny so it was challenging getting ready. Very nice hotel at a great location, 5 minutes walk from the center, from Ponte Vecchio, from Oltrarno, and so on. The staff at reception is very welcoming. All staff very friendly. Very nice breakfast. Clean and nice rooms. We were very satisfied to stay here for 3 nights. And would surely come back

Great location, very friendly staff and my favorite hotel stay in Italy. Got a great room with a small terrace and enjoyed three nights there. Highly recommend! Very convenient to everything you want to experience in Florence.

Part of a 14 day trip in Italy we visited Florence for the second time for three days. My job requires me to travel an average of five times a month, during this time I spend my time at 4 star hotels (major known hotel brands), the difference with the Gallery Hotel Art is the ambience and the home within a home experience. Staff are helpful, friendly. hotel is modern, good size hotel room, large bathroom. Products are from Salvatore Ferragamo (family owned hotel) collection. I would recommend this hotel hence my five star rating.

This is a nice hotel with a good restaurant but you will pay up for both. We had a gallery deluxe room (about 300sqft/29sqM) which was nice and spacious. The bathroom is beautiful and huge. It was very quiet for the city view room since we faced the alley which was much quieter than the 4 lane road if you faced the river. The front desk was very helpful and there was always at least one person who spoke English. The restaurant just around the corner, facing the river, was expensive but deli... Read more

Second time I've stayed here. Fortunately for me upgraded to a stunning suite. The location is fantastic, food great, the staff friendly especially Michel on reception the best. Roberto, Luca or Leo great front of house team. I'll be back next year can't wait.
