Very nice place, excellent service. The view is so amazing especially before the sunset. The only problems are that is little and expensive but if you can spent half an hour in such a place with a good drink before tour first dinner in Florence. Romantic and cool place. Luigi

Loved this modern hotel! The location is right on the River, just around the corner from Ponte Vechio. Super easy to walk to the Duomo, restaurants and fabulous shopping. Rooms were spacious, very clean and well thought out. Loved the "floating" clock night stands, with their rolling blocks to set your items on overnight (glasses/book/phone). We really liked the contemporary decor, kind of a nice contrast to the ancient city, just outside the window. Bed was comfortable and the mechanical s... Read more

Easy walk from the train station, (15-20minutes), ‚?¨20-‚?¨25 fare to airport, depending on time & luggage). Close to everything. Very friendly staff, their restrauant recommendations were spot on, & with them booking for us, we always had a great table. A Salvatore Ferragamo Hotel, decor was very modern & edgy. The Continentale is the epitome of a luxury boutique hotel. Pre-arrival, their skilled concierge team answered every question promptly and expertly, helping us with transportation and dinner reservations. The front desk staff was wonderfully friendly and helpful. The location is incomparable - directly across from the Ponte Vecchio, yet it still feels quiet and secluded. We had the pleasure of staying in the penthouse, a one-of-a-kind two level suite. From the spacious layout to the unparalleled... Read more

Lovely hotel, tastefully furnished. Owned by the Ferragamo family, which probably explains the emphasis on style. At the same time, it's very comfortable. Our room overlooked the Ponte Vecchio and River Arno, which was wonderful. The rooftop terrace is beautiful on a warm afternoon, but it's always crowded and expensive. Still worth a try. Staff was friendly and bent over backwards to please. The only drawback is that there are no on-premise food services; you have to go across the street... Read more

This is a lovely modern hotel in an excellent location yards from the Pone Vecchio, so close to everything you might want to walk to. Rooms are great and beautifully designed, reception and concierge very helpful and breakfast was good if not the best. Our only gripe was the rooftop bar, Whilst the views are stunning, it is small and on our visit very over crowded with poor service. The hotel is a great place to stay if you want to feel at home in a very warm and comfortable atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly, polite and helpful. We didn't get the best room we could have because we booked a bit late but we would have had a perfect experience if we had a room overlooking the canal with better views of Florence. Overall a great contemporary hotel in the best location of the city.

Staying at Continentale was a wonderful experience! The hotel itself is very nice, the staff is friendly, our room was beautiful and spacious, and our view... the best view in all of Florence: Ponte Vecchio. The Roof Top bar is great!
