We stayed with the wonderful people of the Bernini Palace for four nights. They were attentive, professional, and warm. Annalisa at the front desk was extremely helpful to us and directed us to the cooking classes we enjoyed so much. She was super, and even recognized us on the street on her way home from work!!! Talk about hospitality!! The breakfast was flavorful, bountiful, and Italian. The room was roomy, beautiful and very clean. The staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Vi ringrazio m... Read more

A 3 night city break booked with BA from London City Airport direct to Florence introduced us to this lovely hotel. Buffet breakfast in the room where the Italian Parliament met for 5 years was an amazing start to the day. Overall the staff were excellent and nothing was too much trouble. We especially enjoyed taking drinks in the bar before going out in the evenings as there were generous snacks provided with the reasonably priced drinks. 2 nights in Florence at this lovely hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Location is fabulous - close to most major museums and sights. Were not expecting much of a view but were surprised with a view of the Duomo from our room! Enjoyed a drink before dinner in the lobby bar - very generous snacks provided.Room was spacious but fabric in sheets was a little scratchy, but still would stay again if we return to Firenze.

My wife and I spent a week in this hotel, perfectly located in the city for all the major sights/sites. We had a junior suite on the Tuscan floor which was extremely comfortable and beautifully appointed. Our double bed was 2 metres wide and we loved the linen sheets that were changed each night of our stay. Lighting in the bedroom and sitting room areas was good and especially good in the bathroom. A large well-lit make up mirror in the bedroom was greatly appreciated by both my wife and me... Read more

We loved our stay in Florence at this elegant top class hotel. From our first encounter with the staff they were taking every step to address our needs with professionalism and grace. The room was appointed in a lovely fashion and our room overlooked the square and the Duomo. The breakfast was a wide ranging buffet. We could not have asked for a better location for our visit. Everything about the Bernini Palace is five star! The location, just behind the Uffizzi is wonderful. Our room on the 5th floor was gorgeous, quiet, with beautiful fittings, furniture, lighting, bedding, linens, large well equipped marble bathroom, mini bar, safe, nightly turn down service with a little gift each evening. Every member of staff was helpful, friendly and professional and each went out of their way to ensure we were well cared for. Lorenzo on the concierge desk obtained tickets, ta... Read more

We had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and roomy. The breakfast buffet was excellent. And the hotel was situated in the heart of Florence, a 5 minute walk to the Uffizi and the Ponte Vecchio. Could not have asked for a more convenient location to see the sights.

Very well located hotel if you want to be in the heart of the tourist attractions in Florence. We had three double rooms for 6 people on a B&B basis for 3 nights. We had an excellent welcome and a complimentary upgrade of one of the rooms to a junior suite. The suite was in keeping with the period style of the hotel with rustic decor and furniture. The double bed was two joined singles and fairly firm. Bedding was clean and comfortable. The en-suite was fine and clean with okay toileteries. The ... Read more

What a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Florence, everything close by within minutes of leaving the front door. David and his staff provided an exceptional experience for the 4 night stay, you could not want for more. Being a very old building some of the room locations were quirky. The Bernini Hotel was a perfect choice for our Florence trip. Below is a categorized account, but it's a great place. The only downside is that the wifi is pretty slow. Location: The hotel couldn't be better located. It's around the corner from the Palazzo Vecchio and Ufizzi Gallery and a few minutes walk to the Duomo.
