We stayed at Albergo Firenze for 4 nights. The location is great, only few minutes to both Duomo and Ufzzi and a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The hotel is in a old building but the rooms have been renovated as shown on the hotels official pictures. The rooms are clean but less than basic, feels like a dorm room, nothing cozy about them, no flowers or lamps or something to make you feel welcome. The only window in the room was blocked so you could not see the daylight. The water in the sho... Read more

Room: We couldnt get the safe to unlock. The bathroom was clean and so was the room. Space was a bit limited within the room. Bed was comfortable. Location: We chose a great spot staying here. I felt engrained with the rest of Florence being the midst of people and attractions. The hotel is right off a busy street filled of pedestrians, I thought this was cool, as shown in picture. Amenities: Basic breakfast. We asked to leave our bags here after check out and they allowed us access to a sto... Read more

We stayed at this hotel as a party of 9 for four nights. The location is excellent, a short walk to the station, Duomo, markets, shops and great restaurants. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. Our particular room was a bit small but had everything required in it including a small fridge which came in useful for cooling water. The room and the hotel itself was spotless, we literally only used the hotel to eat breakfast, shower, change and sleep so could not have asked for more... Read more

Stayed in this hotel 3 nights last week. More or less everything was fine, hotel is located right in the city center; room was OK. But, all impression of the hotel was completely broken by terrible "service", provided by receptionist Barbara, which was in charge during the morning, when we was making check-out. First of all, when I asked at 10.00 which is check out time, she said it's 10.30 (also very early comparing to other hotels). I asked, if it's possible to prolong at least until 11.00, a... Read more

It is the worst hotel I've ever been in my life. They stole a lot of money from the safe box ( they have a master key) in my room and never asumed any responsibility. The police asked for the manager of the hotel to go to the station and he never went so nothing could be done. The staff DOES NOT SPEAK ENGLISH except for 1 person. Its better to sleep in the street that in that place. DON'T GO TO THAT PLACE

This hotel was central to most of the sights in Florence. The room was ready and AC. Shower was a little small. But overall it was a great place to stay. Access was in a backstreet but had a lot of restaurants and shops handy.

While this hotel seemed adequate, it had quite a lot of faults. Our room was on the top floor and had a view of the Duomo. HOWEVER, the windows were maybe 2'x2' and were five feet off the ground so the Duomo was literally the only thing you could see. I felt a little claustrophobic. While the rooms are in desperate need of renovation (our bathroom had been renovated but not the room) it was probably clean (hard to tell). Also had terrible beds that were old/cheap and rough to sleep on. The wors... Read more

Very friendly staff speaking several languages. Ou room was rather large with a small bathroom (better than the other way around!). Beds were quite comfortable Hotel situation can hardly be any better next to the Duomo and several other "must see" places. Buffet breakfast was reasonable if not exceptionnal. All in all very good stay at reasonable price.

We landed at the Albergo Firenze because we didn't know any better (and because a very central location mattered to us) ... Quite frankly, the place wasn't very welcoming. Our room and the bathroom were alright, quiet, clean, spacious and functional (apart from the beds/bedsprings/mattrasses which were a bit tired, and the televison never really worked either) - but absolutely without any kind of charm whatsoever ! So was the breakfast - after a first try, we preferred to stay away. Altogether, ... Read more

We were very pleased with this hotel - very spacious rooms, very clean, lots of amenities and the breakfast had a good amount of variety. We enjoyed the location, close to all the major sites, restaurant and station. The only negative is that we heard alot of noise from the streets and within the hotel - seems to echo alot. Regardless, we would stay again.

I had a nice stay at this hotel. Room was clean. Bed was little softer than I would like, but acceptable. Bathroom was clean and everything was in working order. Breakfast was delicious. Hotel is located in the center of the city, so it was very close to most of the attractions. There's lots of shops and place to eat nearby. Location is very good.

The location of the hotel was quite satisfying. I strongly recommend it if you'd like to stay somewhere you can bump into your room 2-3 times a day. Breakfast was not perfect but ok. 2.30 pm is too late to check-in because we arrived to Firenze early in the morning. They helped us and kept our bags but we couldn't have a small rest. Prices are average. I cannot strongly recommend but I cannot say not to stay. (Internet connection was one of the best I have ever seen)
