We found this to be a great place to stay while waiting to catch a flight the next morning. The room was very nice and comfortable. Using the airport shuttle to take us to the terminal was very convenient and runs every 12 minutes. Far exceeds our previous stay at another hotel at the airport.

I booked a family room for myself, my wife and her mother so we would be close to the airport to catch a 9:40 am flight the next morning. The desk staff was very helpful and efficient. Our room was ready at 2pm so we were able to check in and then catch the shuttle to the airport and then the Leonardo Express train straight into the Roma Termini station ( just a short Metro ride from there to the Colosseum area). After a week of family hotels on the Amalfi coast, the kids and I were looking forward to soft beds, great service, and a nice night. We followed the Hilton signs in the airport - and inadvertently ended up at Hilton, not Hilton garden. We stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn, Rome Airport in April in order to catch an early flight. The property is quite new, but the room is small, (especially the bathroom), as compared to other Hilton Garden Inns in the States. Arrived late (12am). My first concern was for the shuttle, but it was really easy. Followed signs for airport shuttle and there was a clearly marked waiting area with a digital display counting down when the shuttle would arrive (it was accurate). The rooms were spacious and clean and the staff was very nice. It is an easy shuttle ride to/from the airport (about 25 mins from Terminal 5). You are isolated at this hotel but the hotel does provide a very good restaurant with reasonable prices. If you feel adventuresome there is a convenience store in a building behind the hotel where you can get ice cream, candy, etc. Give yourself a minimum of 3 hours before departure. FCO airport is chaotic.

I had one minor and one major disappointment this time round There was no shuttle service from the Hilton in the airport and they have changed the route from the shuttle and I had to stop at all the parking lots before I got to the hotel. Even though I prepaid both nights, I was charged an additional ‚?¨90 in the hotel.

Took train from Rome to airport. Missed first shuttle because it ess not well marked and driver basically stopped fir 30 seconds even though we were standing close by. Then was a long shuttle ride from airport. Shuttle goes every 30 minutes early in the morning. Room was clean but noisy. Free breakfast was good, dinner was very expensive and small portions. Bottle of water was 3 Euros! But it was at airport and catching a flight in early AM made it OK

Stayed at the Hilton the night before a flight home. Good choice as it has a free shuttle to the airport. Typical airport hotel not cheap but surprisingly not over expensive. Let's start with this, I end up in this hotel because Alitalia had screwed up my flight and I lost my connection so I had to stay overnight, so my state of mind was everything but great, so I have to say that the hotel is spacious, modern efficient and light, I really liked it. A big negative, as it was 1 am they gave me the worse packed dinner I have ever seen. Even the nectarine was full of worms. Please look into these details, it could have been perfect

It's our first stay at the Hilton Garden Inn at Fiumicino and it's been a good one. The last time we flew out of Rome, we stayed at another nearby hotel (which was unsatisfactory). We always stay here before departing Rome from FCO early in the morning. If you rely on the airport shuttle, it takes a bit of patience to reach the hotel, as it is the last stop. But we are always rewarded with a super comfortable room, helpful staff and security features - including security guards and keyed access to the elevators. Breakfast offers a voluminous array of delicious choices.

My daughter and I spent the night before our flight here. Nice hotel near the airport. Room was first class and there is a restaurant and bar with full breakfast buffet. I would stay there again. I returned our rental car after checking in and it was very stressful. I missed the rental car ramp and then did not understand the signs in Italian. My daughter and I were placed in this hotel for the night when our flight home was cancelled on 23/6/16. I cannot praise enough the care we received whilst there. Beautiful room, access to computer to book another flight home and print boarding pass and tickets, a free call to our travel agent and free passage back to the airport the next day. Building wise the hotel is pretty nice. It's in the middle of nowhere though. Out flight from the airport was at 8a so better to spend the night here rather than make the trek from Rome. Restful place at the end of the road. A place for a quiet bath while sipping champagne and watching TV. Shuttle takes you to airport. Staff helped print airline tickets and answer many questions without irritation.

Too expensive- require taxi to airport - shuttle offered is a city bus not adequate or safe with luggage. Breakfast should be included with Hotel room price. We stayed for 2 nights actually because of flight changes. Our check in host was quite rude and unhelpful. However all other staff interactions were pleasant. Our room was spacious, clean and fairly modern. Some of the lights didn't work although we notified the hotel. Breakfast was generous and very accommodating. I was confused and thought I had booked the hilton at the airport, which you can walk into the terminal. I hadn't. So initially I was a little nervous. However I was wrong to be. Hotel is a short shuttle journey and is of a very good quality. Food was nice, including the bbq, and the open bar lobby was well done and relaxing. The hotel is not too easy to reach as the shuttle offered is a city bus with many stops before getting to the hotel. Food in the restaurant is fairly good but too pricey. Rooms are modern and beds comfortable enough. Wi-fi is free and connection good. Check-in and check-out are fairly efficient.

Clean hotel, excellent place to stay before an early morning flight our of Rome airport. The airport shuttle bus picks you up outside the Terminal and after 10 minutes or so you are at the hotel. It is clean convenient and was a great place to stay overnight before our flight out of Rome Fiumicino. I only stayed one night, but if you have an early morning flight this is a great place to stay.

Very clean and nice view rooms, comfortable bed and pillows. Just be aware that you need to put your key card in the appropriate place near the door for electricity access. Internet connection not good in the room.

This beautiful hotel was very convenient to the airport with a shuttle running every 15 minutes or so. Good food, clean and great people. The only thing is it is in the middle of no where and you have to eat there or take a taxi or the airport shuttle to leave the property.

It was a nice, clean room. Quiet. Couldn't hear the planes taking off very much. Food was good and varied. Shuttle was free, frequent, and quick to terminal 5. Had ICE MACHINES available for guests' use...(first in Italy!!) Apparently Europeans don't like ice in their beverages!! Staff was very eager to please guests.

Stayed 1-night to catch early flight out the next day. Wanting to use up Euros, we paid cash to our waiter for our dinner at this Hilton restaurant. The next month we found the dinner charged to our credit card. We called Hilton-800 and they revised the charge. Thanks Hilton. We will consider this hotel again in the future; great location for the next day flight. Get receipts for cash transactions and watch your charges once returning home anywhere you travel.

We stayed at this Hilton using points from the Hilton frequent stay program. They gave us the family room which was actually 2 rooms. Plenty of space. Extra toilet and sink. Hotel was quiet with great AC and had ice machines and laundry facility. It is located on the airport shuttle route and it is free to use. It was great the day of our flight back to US because we were just a few minutes away from airport. Highly recommend.

Hated this hotel . Felt like a motel. Internet did not work in the room. Arrived late and was given wrong key to a room at the end of a long corridor . Very small room. Let's face it, this hotel is for a one night stay before or after a flight. And the hotel is not making any efforts to be anything else. The room was very clean and spacious. It is easy to access airport for connecting flight or return flight from europe to U>S>. Ground transportation by taxi was a bit expensive even to nearby town of Fiumicino. Taxi to downtown rome can be expensive. Best to contact limo services by internet on trans to rome.

They don't provide shuttle information. The shuttle was excellent both getting to the hotel and back to the airport. There are two hiltons that are in the airport location. Do not get off at the first one. Stay on the shuttle until you see the one with the logo!!! It near the end of the shuttle trip.

The restaurant had one abrupt and extremely rude staff, name of Valercia, who spoilt the end of our dinner. We decided to move outside to a very pleasant outdoor setting for dessert and sat at one of the vacant tables, where she demanded us to return to our previous table inside (which was now taken). Rooms are good enough, bed however was uncomfortable as it was slanted to one side. Found the staff very rude and not helpful at all. Didn't tell us about the shuttle bus back to airport so had to find out by over hearing another couple. Very surprised that breakfast started at 6 as many people have early morning flights and there was not even a snack offered in the morning.

We arrived very late at Rome airport. Struggled a little to find correct stand for courtesy bus. We then were driven at high speed round the area for at least 20 mins. Not pleasant. Hotel itself was clean. Rooms were good. we had adjoining. When they say breakfast stops at 10am. They mean it is cleared away by 10am. Nice breakfast.

I stayed here with my family prior to an early morning flight out of Fiumicino. The rooms are a tad bit small but it works for an airport hotel. The staff was extremely courteous and thoughtful and they offered to pack veggie breakfast for us since we were leaving before the breakfast hours. Stayed in hotel on 03/07 for a night, on our way back from Sienna, as had to catch a early morning flight next day. Though rooms are honestly quite good. There is that unidentifiable smell in entire hotel, that follows you all the way to airport, next day and remains with you. Very irritating. The breakfast though huge (variety/option wise) is miserable quality wise. Most of things were looking stale. Overall avoidable.

I called the hotel prior to arriving to check on transportation to the hotel which is located near to the airport, but not within walking distance. Excellent hotel for using when your flight leaves the next day. The shuttle is FREE and frequent. We even used the shuttle to go back to the airport to do some shopping. We arrived very late at night - and just needed a sleepover before heading off for a cruise. Flew in late - and eventually made it to the hotel. Reception was great. The room was clean, large, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was a highlight - freshly made omelet - lovely. The desk was particularly helpful - providing plugs, information and making calls on our behalf - and posting a letter when I did not have a stamp. Thank you. Highly recommended.

After traveling for over 20 hours, this hotel was a welcome site. They pick you up at the airport. Call the hotel if you can't find the shuttle as it's difficult to find, and airport staff really doesn't know. It's literally 10 minutes to the hotel. This is a mixed bag, we chose this hotel because it was in the airport area and there was a shuttle. Well, just finding where to catch the shuttle was a challenge! Go to up to arrival? We got free Internet and breakfast just because we are honors members but that would be annoying if you had to pay for it. Easy, free pick up and drop off to the airport. Large, comfortable beds. Decent food in the restaurant downstairs. A great place to stay if you are passing through Rome, and not visiting the city. If you do visit the city, cabs will pick up and drop off for a decent price, and about a 40 minute ride. Front staff is quite helpful.

We stopped here after a late flight and couldn't be more happy. Did the pre-paid room, which included breakfast and was a true bargain. Great breakfast (much better than garden inn breakfasts in the states) and free airport transportation. Pull out bed for the kids was all made up, which was a bonus after landing late.

We have stayed at this hotel before the shuttle bus was an issue we got on the wrong one and had to walk from a car park in the very hot heat. Check in took over 30 mins very slow only two people on desk room was good until we switch the kettle on and switch all the electricity off in the room food however is good in the bar and breakfast. They do have a guarantee to refund I asked she said she did not understand how convenient!

We stayed two nights here recently. The front desk staff were very friendly & welcoming. Also they were very helpful printing out our biarding passes for us instead of sending us to their business centre. Our room was spacious and quiet with a comfy bed. There's also a laundromat on the 5th floor for guests to use, this is alot cheaper than getting the hotel to launder your clothes. This was our second stay at this hotel. Our main issue was finding the right place to get the shuttle, then finding the shuttle itself. Hilton does not have a dedicated shuttle. It is combined with the parking lot shuttle and can be very misleading.

Reading the reviews on TripAdvisor, I initially felt that it was worth it to settle for this "airport hotel" rather than the actual Hilton Rome Airport, which is actually attached to the hotel. The shuttle service was terrible. After finally finding the pick up area after looking for 30 minutes and speaking to the not very helpful hotel staff, the shuttle was determined to be for hotel guests but also employees of the airport. It makes 15+ stops. So beware if you stay here, you'll be on a hot bus for a 20 minute ride to/from the airport with multiple stops. After reaching the hotel, then it was at least 30 minutes to get checked in.

This hotel is located fairly far from the airport terminal, however, they do have a shuttle bus. It departs from the upper floor of the airport/departures floor all the way down at the end of Terminal 3. It takes about 15 minutes to the hotel (once you are onboard). As you get to the hotel you will most likely have to queue for at least half an hour for the check in. This is our second trip to Italy in 2 years (yes we adore Italy!) and we seem to fly in & out of Rome. We might consider using Milano airport as our hub for the next visit (makes sense if touring the north of Italy). Stayed there for 1 night on the 3rd of September. Having arrived to Rome at 11.30 in the evening it was a nightmare to get to the hotel. Hotel is about 10 minutes by airport bus from the terminal. Actually quite easy to get there once one finds the bus stop at the terminal. Bus is marked with name of hotel. Hotel is straight forward and efficient. Easy check in/check out. Comfortable bed, desk for work and restaurant to have dinner and breakfast.

Stayed here for the second time in a few years. Excellent front desk women, quick check-in. Room is bright and clean, comfortable and quiet. Food is ok, too. The staff in the restaurant was very accommodating and pleasant. The price isn't exhorbitant, like some airport hotels that gouge you when you have no alternative. It's really a good option when you have to stay near the airport for an early flight.

Decent property outside FCO airport if you are transiting and need a place to sleep. Located among the staff parking lots and uses the staff shuttle(Website calls it "Leonardo da Vinci Shuttle"!!!!) which makes 8 stops in between the terminal 5 and the hotel. Never experienced this at any airport hotel, especially a Hilton property. This hotel is too busy for the number of guests that choose to stay there and can't serve them well if a problem arises. They use the airport staff shuttle for their guests. The ride is long and uncomfortable with too many stops.

For the amount of people that stay here, I can't see why there is not a shuttle offered into Rome. The other Hilton offer a shuttle - couldn't it swing past this hotel? Overnight after travelling from Budapest, en route to Venice. Easy access by shuttle from Airport. Was given ground floor room with disabled facilities which were inconvenient. Room and facilities ok, breakfast OK but food not hot. Staff helpful. Will try Airport Hilton on way back to see if it is better.

We stayed one night, before leaving Italy. The staff was friendly, the rooms were spacious and very clean and the bar/restaurant was more than adequate. It was an excellent airport hotel, I have no complaints at all!

I'm sorry to write a negative review, because Hilton Garden Inn is one of my favorite chains when I travel in the US. It is very convenient if you need space in the room, parking or to be close to the airport. Roma airport is very far from the city. Is better to rent a car (cheaper than taxi) and stay at this hotel. Had a late flight into Rome and stayed here as a start to our Italy holiday. Was nice and close to the airport around a 10min taxi fast check in and a buffet breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

free shuttle from airport, approx. 7 minutes to get to the hotel and 3 minutes to get back. can catch the train to Rome if you have ample time to visit. mostly recommend it for overnight stay where you need to be near airport for quick access. staff are good and friendly. rooms are on the smaller side but adequate, bed was not very comfortable but good for one night.

After 2 weeks in Italy it was difficult to adjust down to American standards for breakfast. A pretty abysmal meal. Hotel otherwise meh, super small rooms, no dedicated shuttle to airport. Would not recommend.

Just an OK place to stay! Not sure I would stay here again. Close to airport and bus service is fine, but bed was way too soft, room got hot during the night, and American style breakfast is definitely not what we expect in the US.

This hotel is fine, it's functional, and it has zero charm. It's out in the middle of airport operations area, so your only options for eating are the hotel or a ‚?¨20-25 cab ride (each way) to Fiumicino. It's quiet, it's comfortable. I'd recommend the ‚?¨30 or so up charge to stay at the Hilton for a little more convenience. It's a long bus ride here and back from/to the terminal.

It's not a fancy lobby and the front desk staff were very busy but very efficient but the rooms were fantastic for our family of 4. Separated room for the adults and pull out couch for the kids. Even though the hotel from the outside is not a pretty one, the rooms are great, quiet and the staff were extremely happy and helpful even though checkin was busy. The free shuttle to and from Terminal 3 at the airport was easy to find, easy to use and turned up as expected. Rooms were great, wifi was great and it was a great place to rest up before an early departure. Recommend this property even though not walking distance from the airport.

We stayed here on the night we arrived in Rome and the last night in Rome as our flight arrived very late and departed very early. Even we arrived after 1am, the hotel could provide a free shuttle bus which took about 15min to the hotel from the airport. The reception staff were very polite and professional, room was very simple but comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast, they even had DIY waffle :)

If you are looking for a convenient hotel to spend one night close to the airport this is the place - comfortable rooms, efficient staff and free shuttle to and from the airport (look for bus marked with employee/ Hilton Garden Inn at arrivals by shuttle sign). Very friendly staff! The room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable. Lots of tv channels to choose from. Shuttle was a little difficult to find but just follow everyone's advice and go up to T3 departure area and you'll find it right away.

We arrived from a long flight from Australia and stayed for the day and night before continuing on our trip. The hotel is away from the airport terminals but inside the airport boundaries. Despite that it is quiet and just what is needed after a long flight. Air crew stay here as well and I can understand why. Food is excellent. Granted this is not a place to stay for an extended period, but even for one night it was nearly impossible to sleep. The beds are about as soft as park benches, and the feather pillows are real, as they have quills sticking out of them. Will try another airport hotel next time - this was too painful.

Based on the location of the hotel, if I were to stay near FCO again, I would pay the extra 30 Euro or so and stay at the Hilton Hotel. The shuttle is an airport bus and there are, I think, 12 stops between the hotel and airport. The breakfast was okay, although the coffee was from a push button machine. This is Italy - where is the espresso or cappuccino? Room was clean, adequate, nondescript. A "meh" ending to a great trip.

Having read some previous reviews, I am pleased to advise that this Hotel has really stepped up. Modern, clean, comfortable and the beds and pillows are new and super comfy! Breakfast coffee is still from a push button machine, however...Shuttle bus to and from airport makes transport a breeze! Would definitely stay there again!

Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn for 4 nights. Arrived at the hotel very early, room not ready that's no problem you can store your luggage free of charge. Upon check-in, there were a number of loud guests with prostitutes (yes) in the lobby. When I asked the front desk people if my eyes were deceiving me, they acknowledged the situation but did nothing about it, other than to offer my wife and I a cookie. I laugh as I write this, but as one who travels a lot, I have never stayed at a place that seems to cater to such an element. Anyway, room was fine (I guess...) but I will never stay again.

This is a good value place to stay overnight at Rome airport area. To get to the Hilton Garden Inn we got the Shuttle bus, sometimes called a Parking Express and other times a Staff Express after waiting 15 mins although two Parking Express buses went past and did not stop, and then it took 15 mins to get to hotel from airport. My husband and I stayed here before a very early flight our of Rome. The hotel looks old from the outside, but has been nicely updated inside. The room was very nice and the bed very comfortable. We used the shuttle service to the airport and it was convenient, picking up right in front of the hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful. We will definitely stay again if we are flying into and out of Rome.

Courtesy shuttle from the airport to the hotel is very helpful. Getting to all of the tourist attractions is easy enough for a foreigner. Even though the center of Rome is 14km away from the hotel , the airport has access to the train which will take you to the center of Rome. It's affordable and fun to see the countryside of Rome through the train ride.

This hotel is large and busy due to the location next to FCO. There is a shuttle to and from the airport that runs every 10 mins. The hotel was clean, beds were comfy, restaurant was prompt and had a good selection. Large bar area. This property may be a bit more expensive than other Hilton's but it is convenient. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Hotel was excellent. Friendly and very helpful staff. We loved the rooms and very good food! We had a wonderful dinner and the breakfast buffet was great - thanks for everything! Oh and hte bed - very comfortable. We would highly reccomend this hotel. Shuttle ran to all of the terminals in the morning which made things very easy.

We checked in the night before our flight to minimize our morning commute. It worked out great. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant and it was good. The staff was great. We caught the shuttle in the morning and that worked out perfectly, buses come every 15 minutes.

The stay at the Garden Inn near Rome's Airport was very convenient and comfortable. The bus shuttle service was much appreciated both ways. The hotel was light and airy plus clean! Taxi service is expensive so it was better for us to use some points, pay and get transportation to and from the airport.

Since we had an early flight out of the Rome Airport we decided to stay at this hotel which has a free and convenient shuttle to and from the airport on a regular basis. Hotel was very comfortable and clean for the money. There is nothing close by this hotel. They have a full service bar and restaurant. The food was very good as was the service. They had a breakfast buffet for 10 euros which was a deal!

Second time that I stayed here. SAME problem with beds. THEY advertise about adjustable beds, but We never found any way to adjust the uncomfortable beds.Staff is incompetent and not nice. The hotel is very conveniently located to the Rome airport and has very frequent free shuttle service making transfers to and from so easy. The staff are friendly and eager to help. There is a large dining area serving breakfast lunch and dinner with most room rates including breakfast.
