Stayed in Cefalu for two nights and had plenty of time to enjoy the pool and the facilities of the hotel. It's a beautiful location and the pool area is beautiful. Personnel is very accommodating and service minded. My husband took a 65km bike ride in the area and came back with stars in his eyes. The bike was rented in at the hotel next door, very easy. 25 minutes walk to Cefalu centre along the shore which is nice when the weather is good. We stayed in a room with garden view 2 minutes walk fr... Read more

Fantastic hotel, we stayed for 1 week and wouldn't normally go back to the same place twice, this would be an exception! The beautiful and clean pool area with views out over the marina and sea were stunning. Particularly loved the walk down to the rocky cove, and the sunloungers placed overlooking the sea. The room was beautiful and modern and loved the basket bags with beach towels, nice touch. The food was always fantastic and staff always very attentive and friendly. Particularly Antonio in... This hotel, with a French name, seems to be run (and possibly owned) by French nationals. Nothing wrong with that, as I love going to France. But you will get more of a French experience here rather than Italian. Thus, the food will be very good, the staff will be professional, generally friendly and accommodating. But there will be that traditional customer/vendor relationship that you find in France, but is absent in much of old Italy, where you are treated with more familiarity, or even like ... Read more

the place is about 15 minute stroll from the old town of Cefalu with its cobbled streets and quaint shops. Hotel is beautiful and the rooms are lovely, quite large and spotlessly clean. ours had a small seating area outside and inside, a small lounge area with a fridge .The food was buffet style at breakfast and there was plenty of choice. this was in an outside area over looking the sea and was beautiful. quite central for places of interest. Downside? the "entertainment each night was just o... Read more

Beautiful property in a beautiful location. Yes, the sandy beach is on the other side of La Rocca, but we felt little need to go to the center of Cefalu after seeing the sights in one morning. The restaurant at La Calette is very good as well.

Le Calette is about 20 mins walk along the bay from the town of Cefalu. It's a good place to know about - Cefalu is a very visited town on the North Sicilian coast but there's nowhere of real calibre to stay. Le Calette is perched on the top of a gentle cliff; it is 2 storeys and the suites are on the top floor with gorgeous terraces and fabulous views. Sunsets de rigeur. Breakfast is comprehensive and generous; the pool is deep so you can swim properly and you can walk down paths to a swimming ... Read more

Stayed 4 nights in sea view room. Modern almost Greek style architecture with white the predominant theme. Rooms are very well appointed and inviting. Comfortable beds and good wifi. However I don't see why the hotel can't supply a complimentary bottle of water every day rather than paying ?2 from the minibar. Also you can't get an iron - instead need to use their expensive laundry service just to get a shirt pressed. The pool are is beautiful tho their rocky beach will appeal to only a few. ... Read more

Very nice hotel with observant personell and great facilities just a walk form the romantic Cefalu old town. Very good breakfast and food (lunch, dinner and drinks) services. The pool area is really nice and the rooms modern and clean. All in nice old fashion Mansion style buildings. Well worth the trip.

We stayed in this lovely hotel for a week. It is situated just to the east of Cefalu, an easy twenty minute walk to the centre of the old city. It sits on the side of a cove next to the marina and has a view across to La Rocca. There is a pleasant swimming pool and a decked area with a small pier down by the sea. Both areas have good bars with drinks and food. The breakfast buffet is served in a green garden overlooking the see, In the evening this is transformed into a candle-lit dining area. T... Read more

I had read reviews on the hotel which were slightly off-putting so was a little apprehensive on arrival! How can people possibly give this a lukewarm rating?? A fantastic hotel - right from the moment we arrived - so friendly, so helpful - everyone from reception to restaurant even to the people who cleaned our room - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were lovely and well equipped. The pool area was super but the area down by the sea was superb as was the little cafe there. The restaura... Read more

Hotel Le Calette was the perfect spot to start our Sicilian vacation. We only had two days and one night in Cefalu but Calette was a great way to start our trip on a relaxing and peaceful note. The hotel property is beautiful. It has a nice charm to it with a good balance of being older but modernized. Unfortunately we did not get one of the more renovated rooms but the room we had was a nice size and comfortable. The newer rooms off of the pool are beautiful and I would recommend requesting one... We stayed for 2 nites and I wish it could have been longer. From the charming staff to the great location, fabulous room and great breakfast, Hotel Le Calette was everything we expected, and more. Le Calette is located about a 15 minute walk from Cefalu, which is exactly what we wanted. Minimal noise, fabulous views, no congestion, a beautiful resort setting, and a staff that will make you feel like a VIP all the time. Thats's Le Calette, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to an... Read more

Our check-in was flawless. The receptionist made sure we were familiar with the resort and all that it has to offer. Our room was spacious, clean and had a lovely terrace with double loungers. The views are beautiful. We had an outstanding dinner at the hotel and the breakfast in the morning was also excellent. We spent a day walking in town and hanging at the sea side deck - wish we could have stayed longer!

This was our first location in sicily (stayed in mid september). I had changed from a hotel in the heart of cefalu. I am so glad i did. Such a beautiful town and location. hotel exceeded our expectations. Room - big, redone/modern, great shower, huge double terrace overlooking the ocean Pool/Grounds/staff - beautiful, quiet, beach by town is not worth going to, the rock beach by the pool is good and quiet, about a 20-30 min walk to town - very hilly and on a busy road part of the way, havin... My experience was horrible. This is obviously an upscale property, but I hated our room. First it was a feng shui nightmare. The closet would have been handy if I was 7 feet tall. The HVAC control in our room didn't work, so they all but froze us out. It was just uncomfortable and my happiest experience was leaving.I call it a "gilded dump" because the room ceiling was done in gold flake, but nothing worked right.
