We are on a 5 days business and short vacation trip. This little hotel is absolutely charming. Fantastic service and friendly young engaged staff. The rooms are small but cozy and have everything you need. The location is perfect in the center of Tel Aviv. You can walk to the best rock pizza restaurant. Just outside the hotel you have a walking / bicycle strip where people play games and hang out. Perfect for people watching and feeling the local atmosphere. Business people can have their small ... The location is good. Pretty central on one of Tel Aviv's key streets. The downside of course is that it's not at the beach, where also a lot of the nightlife etc is - but that's clear from the get-go. My room (Deluxe Studio) was very small. In fact the bed was a single bed, which was OK as I was traveling alone - but if you're planning to bring someone home, well, then that would be an issue. There was an issue with the bathroom drain and the shower kept making noises. I complained about it, bu... Read more

The hotel is clean. And nice. Location is fairly good. However: For the price paid, I would expect much higher grade for: A. Staff kindness. B. Charm. The hotel lacks charm C. Restaurant quality. D. Room. The room is an avarage room by all means. For smaller price you will find equal and even better hotels in Tel Aviv.

It was recommended to us and we recommend it to everyone else. The hotel is perfectly located for those who want to be within walking distance of many restaurants and a short cab ride to the beach. The rooms at the hotel were very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The best part of the hotel was the friendliness of the staff, especialy ofir . . We will be back

My dad and brother came from NYC to visit me in Tel Aviv, and I recommended that we stay here because of the great reviews, and because my dad usually stays at one of the big hotels on the beach. I thought this would give him a much more interesting, intimate experience, with more personal and better customer service. I wish I had never recommended this place. Not only was the room TINY but the service horrible. The "beach towels" they gave us were more like bath towel rags, and the breakfast ex... Read more

An absolute clean hotel. Good looking and in a modern style. Little bit expensive due to the Gay Pride that week. There is no restaurant in the hotel but you will get vouchers to have breakfast outside in one of the restaurants nearby. Ask vouchers for different restaurants at the front desk.

Our family enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Rothschild Hotel #96 (June is a wonderful time to visit). The hotel is located in a beautiful part of Tel Aviv (the Bauhaus architectural World Cultural Heritage Site) on a lovely tree-lined part of Rothschild Blvd). A 30 minute walk will get you to many/most points of interest. The hotel rooms (bathrooms, etc) are nice, the staff VERY friendly & supportive, and the breakfasts (included in room rate) our absolutely superb! The Rothschild Hotel (located at... Read more

We would be in Tel Aviv for two nights on our way to Jerusalem, and didn't really want to stay in the typical international chain type of hotel on the beach, as agreeable as they no doubt are. So we decided to book into The Rothschild - Tel Aviv's Finest, located on Rothschild Boulevard in the more down town part of the city. At our request, the hotel organized a taxi to collect us from the airport - we had just flown in from Amsterdam. The taxi was waiting for us, the driver friendly and inf... Read more

I cannot say enough about how much I enjoyed my 5-night stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, the rooms was clean and tidy, and the food was fantastic. Also, it's location cannot be topped. It is right in the heart of the Tel Aviv's famous Rothschild Boulevard and you are walking distance from great shops on Sheinkin St. The hotel is less than 15 minutes walking to Sarona Market too. I found this place to be a tremendous value and I am certain that I'll be staying ... Read more

The Rothschild Hotel, which should not be mistaken for a nearby hotel with a similar name, was a great choice for our time in Tel Aviv. You can walk to many places from the hotel, including the beach and Nevet Tsadek neighborhood. We enjoyed the central location of the hotel, the lovely room and the excellent breakfasts. The staff was warm and accomodating. The only negative was the parking, which was free. If your call is larger than a thimble, it is very difficult to squeeze into the lot b... Read more

You have to be careful when telling the taxi driver which Rothschild hotel you want - be sure to emphasize 96 Rothschild. You'll know you are there when you see the three sculptures looking out from the second floor. The art starts with the Bauhous srchitecture and continues as you entre the hotel, culminating with a series of stunning lamps that start on the ground floor and ascend to the top pf the building. Started our stay in Tel Aviv at this hotel. Beautiful hotel, very nice design. So nice staff helpful and service minded. Lovely and good breakfast. Much eco food. I have just one complain and that is the products in the bathroom. Beautiful and support of people in need. But it took ages to get something out of the glasboxes. But that it just a small thing. A prefect place that make you feel like you are staying in a private home.

We stayed here for one night on our way to another location in Israel. We decided to splurge and we didn't regret it! Reception was friendly and accomodating, with cozy places to gather and eat. Our room was comfortable, nothing particularly notable. I was glad to see a bathtub after such a long flight, but alas, there was no functioning stopper, so I couldn't fill it. When I asked at the desk for a plug, they couldn't find one. No one had ever asked before! Location was wonderful if yo... Read more

We stayed here for a week while exploring Israel. The hotel is located in the center of Tel Aviv so it was really convenient to get around. Hotel is very small so we felt that the staff was being very attentive. Room was very nice and organized. This hotel doesn't have a spa, gym or pool but we didn't need that so just be aware. Free breakfast and free parking were awesome perks -- the breakfast is delicious and there are lots of options. Parking was a true benefit because parking in Tel Aviv ... Read more

Spent 11 nights at this lovely boutique hotel. We were offered lovely cocktails when we arrived which set a great tone for the holiday. Our room number 47 is lovely with an awesome shower a large terrace with a hot tub which meant a days sunbathing was perfect. Anything we requested was dealt with very quickly and professionally. Breakfast was delicious as it was cooked to order especially the croissants with feta, rocket and pepper pesto. Can't wait to return.

The hotel is located on Sderot Rothschild, a nice residential area, with a number of restaurants and bars at walking distance. There are also two bike stations nearby, allowing an easy visit of Tel Aviv. Rooms: I have tested a single room The decoration is pleasant and modern, but the room is quite small and the single room comes with a single bed, something quite unusual nowadays. The three main issues I have with this hotel are the breakfast, size of room and parking area for my car. The food was disgusting. I got sick from eating there. The rooms were so small and I received an upgrade that when I opened my suitcase there was barely enough room to move past my bed. Lastly if you are going to have a rental make sure it is a compact car as without some guidance you will not be able to get in or out of the parking area. The hotel presents itself as a boutique luxury hotel, and while the exterior and the public areas design can support it, the service is more like in a youth hostel and the room is standard at best. As I came to the hotel, waiting for my wife, a loud receptionist offered a glass of wine. I gladly accepted, so she shouted over my head to the bartender to pour it, who shouted back that she has to write it down, and so they kept going over my head. After about 5 minutes he poured it and another 5 f... Read more

Spending a week in Tel Aviv as part of a business delegation. First time in Isreal. The Rothschild was one of a number of hotels those who know Tel Aviv recommended to the group. The Rothschild had by far the most reasonable pricing for 5 star rated hotels, so most of the group chose it. And it lives up to those prior great reviews: nice modern room with a great bed, and excellent, quiet air conditioning; great location; and the staff is fantastic. Highly, highly recommended, and expect to be a ... Read more

In one word: excellent. Sercice is friendly and impeccable. Design is simply breathtaking. Location is prime. the room is a small jewel and the breakfast a real treat. We spent 4 days in Tel Aviv on holiday and stayed at the Rothschild Hotel (known as Rothschild 96 to avoid confusion with the Hotel Rothschild also on Rothschild Boulevard). Rothschild has 3 hotels on the same boulevard, this one is like a "Boutique Hotel" for those hating confusion. Location is very good as you have plenty restaurants and shops at walking distance, but if you want to go to the beach other solutions are recommended as you have to walk around 20 to 25 minutes to get there. Rooms are not huge in dimension, but very comfortable and with all amenities for such level of price. Staff is extremely nice and the croissants at breakfast delightful !

Common courtesy and professional service is everything - that's eaxactktvwhat this hotel lacked. It was my very first experience at the Rothschild Hotel 96. Nice rooms and breakfast,. but No bell service! My luggage was left behind at the front desk..and no one took notice and I was not notified by the hotel. Bottom line: Actions speak louder than words. As a professional in the tourism industry, it would be irresponsible for me recommend the Rothschild Hotel, Tel Aviv @ 96 Rothschild Blvd.

I keep going back here and recommended it to everyone . The combination of great service a super yummy break fast with the best ingredients and not gigantic , just normal makes this the perfect hotel for Tel aviv . When you add the location and ease to everything it's so hard to beat. No it doesn't have a pool but I'm here for business so it's irrelevant . Congrats to the Avi and the team well done

Wonderful small hotel with a young, enthusiastic staff in Baron Rothschild 's former home. Modern rooms with wonderful linens. Very small breakfast when compared with the usual Israeli buffet but it was just perfect. Staying away from the beach was a novel experience. Hotel is very close to all great TA destinations such as Neve Tzedek, Jaffa, Carmel market etc. Beach is only a 5 minute walk. A great spot for couples rather than families.
