This hotel is a must if you would like to stay on the beach. The location is perfect. You can walk right out of the hotel and be on the beach and walk the whole length of the beach. The room was modern clean and spacious. Had a balcony and while small served us well.we sat there and had a beautiful view of the sea as well as watched the sunset. The staff is extremely friendly and the service was excellent.

We stayed at the Carlton (adjacent to the Hilton property) right on the Med. Within walking distance was a huge salt water pool used for laps. Our group stated here for Memorial Day and Independence Day in Israel. We walked on the beach to a central location to watch the air shop display during Independence day festivities. The previous night at Rabin Square, there was a fireworks display at Midnight. It is impressive to see all the building that is taking place in Tel Aviv. There were may... Read more

The pool on the top of the hotel is ever-so peaceful with a memorable view. The service by the pool personnel is exceptional; they want you to enjoy the experience starting with a cool glass of water, delivered! And a few steps from the hotel entrance is the majestic Mediterranean Sea. My room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was somewhat disappointing mostly because it started with not so fresh "freshly squeezed orange juice". It was good but not "freshly squeezed". I would return!

Overall, the hotel is really nice. The rooms are small but modern and pretty with good bathroom. We had an amazing view of the marina and the sea from our room. And there are beautiful 360 degree views from rooftop. There is also a great exec lounge. The breakfast at their restaurant across the street has a wide array of great foods and a patio directly on the sea.

Wonderful experience on tour in Israel. Very clean and accommodating. The breakfasts were to die for. Our group ate several dinners at the hotel with Andre making the event run smoothly. The view from the pool on top looking down on the Mediterranean is not to be missed. I plan to stay at the Carlton whenever we visit Tel Aviv. Lynn Gundel

My family had a function in one of the function rooms/halls. Although the table was set up very nicely, the food which was to be light cakes, cold and hot drinks, fruit platters was all leftover from Pesach, and served with a very light hand. In fact for the cost of a full breakfast at least or dinner in a restaurant the quality and the quantity were totally exorbitant. I understand that the price included the use of the room. However the hotel totally took advantage of the naivety of the fa... Read more

Wonderful staff, from front desk to housekeeping. Beautiful hotel with modern rooms kept very clean. Great breakfast buffets every day with a wide variety of food. Located right on the boardwalk adjacent to the beautiful beach. Rooftop pool and sundeck came in handy after busy days touring. There is nothing my wife or I could ask that could of made our stay more pleasurable.

The location is right on the beach promenade and breakfast is served in a separate building that allows for indoor or outdoor eating. We were a small group but I also watch the staff check in a larger group and the staff was pleasant, welcoming, and efficient. They accommodated our group with a late check out (4 pm); we checked out and a few hours later discovered that our flight was delayed by almost 8 hours. The hotel is not only very close to the beach but is at a short walk distance from the hottest places in the downtown of Tel Aviv

Location of the hotel is excellent, but the hotel doesn't really live up to a luxury hotel. Fabulous to be on the beach and the breakfast room is directly on the beach so you can watch the surfers catch the waves as you are enjoying cafe afuk and isareli salad with delicious breads, cheeses, honey from a honeycomb and on and on!

This hotel is in a wonderful location right on the beach. Watch surfers with your morning coffee. The breakfast alone is worth a trip to Tel Aviv. Think of a Las Vegas buffet and triple it. The front desk staff was wonderful and the concierge managed to get us a reservation in Jerusalem in what is considered Israel's best restaurant. The only drawback was our room. Carlton might not have an attractive entrance from the street, but it makes up for it with its proximity to the Mediterranean Sea and the Tayelet, the walk along the beach. Exit the hotel and turn left; you'll be heading south towards all the activity. Right outside the hotel is the breakfast buffet over the water. Choose a seat inside or out for a delicious start to the day. If you really want to live right, have dinner on the roof. The views will fill you, but leave room for dessert. This chef... Read more

Perfect location on the beach. Attentive and friendly staff, spacious room and tiny but nice terrace. The king bed was really comfortable and perfect after a long day in the city. The pool on the rooftop is great, showing a spectacular view. Breakfast was more than rich with a variety of fresh fruit, dairy, cheese, pancakes, even fish! The gym was small but convenient. Cute complimentaries and excellent feel as a whole. More than happy to have been your guest.

For anyone who has done the research, you know that Tel Aviv beachfront hotel options are limited and dated. The Carlton rooms are modern enough (2016 renovatoin although don't expect high end finishes), the rooftop pool is great, and the breakfast is tasty (and has a nicer environment than the large convention-like hotel options of the Hilton and Intercontinental). Service was great for Tel Aviv. I'd stay here again. Just realize that none of these Tel Aviv hotels are truly 5 star hotels. From ... Read more

Spent weekend of July 1 - 3 in Carlton Hotel, Tel Aviv. Well outfitted, spacious room had gorgeous view of Tel Aviv marina and shore front for miles. Convenient location to Tel Aviv port and other attractions. Best feature is the incredibly friendly, dedicated and courteous staff, especially Dudi in the pool (in a class by himself), Nadav and his people in the dining rooms and Charlotte of guest services. Well worth the extra bucks.

Location, room, staff, food - just great ! Positioned directly on the beach next to the Hilton Hotel. The roof top pool is ideal as Tel-Aviv is humid in the summer months but being on the 15th floor you get a wonderful breeze. rooms spotlessly clean and spacious. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. We have stayed at this hotel a number of occasions and would always be my first choice when staying in Tel-Aviv.

We are big fans of this hotel. Great service - we left a cell phone in a cab and the concierge spent hours tracking down the cab and getting the crazy cab driver to rerun the phone. The Israeli breakfast is superb, and they recently upped the game with caviar and vodka. Rooms are spacious considering the location. Great for families.

Our group of 6 friends loved the Carlton! The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and well appointed. The staff was amazing! From the front desk to the restaurants to the bar to the pool - they could not have been more accommodating to our every need. The buffet breakfasts in Israel are fantastic but the setting of the Carlton's breakfast - at the marina, just steps from the front of the hotel - makes it even more beautiful and special. I've stayed here twice now and I have been very satisfied with both stays. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully appointed. The service level is quite high. The location couldn't be better. The beaches are fantastic. I especially enjoy the breakfast buffet with an unobstructed view over the Med.

I am happy to find a hotel in tel aviv which can cater to both business and personal travel yet still feel like a boutique. Great location, fantastic staff, quality rooms, rooftop bar and restaurant a must go to and not so big like some other places nearby. I am happy they refurbished it and glad I tried it. This is my 3rd stay and will be back for sure. Gym a bit small but workable combined with outdoor fitness.

Arrived at Carlton at 04:00 in the morning and was welcomed by a very pleasant reception staff. The check in was fast and in few minutes i was in my room (superior type). The room was located on the 09th floor with a nice view to the sea and a park. Good amenities, bathroom a little small, but good enough. Because of the time of the year the breakfast was at the restaurant Carlton at the beach. In front of the sea (outside) it was a really holiday feeling even in business trip. Really nice idea... This is a very nice hotel and quite clean, with updated rooms and an incredible view of the sea and marina if you choose a room with a balcony that faces that direction (which I did). However, it is not a hotel on the level of a Mandarin Oriental or similar, and I would consider it expensive, all things considered. The sheets and duvets were low quality (scratchy) and sometimes with slight stains. The toilet paper wasn't replaced. The cleaning people didn't always do a complete job. The room... Read more

This is the second time I have stayed here and can't imagine staying elsewhere in Tel Aviv. Love that you can walk to the port (15 minutes). It is right on the beach and breakfast overlooks the water. A 15 minute walk puts you in the heart of Tel Aviv. The rooms are a bit small but certainly adequate. Love that there is plenty of room and access to charge phones, tablets, etc. Balconies are small but offer AMAZING sunset views. The pool is on the room and very comfortable with great staff. It was not my first visit at this hotel and definitely not the last. It's a top location, situated directly on the beach, at the Marina and just a short walk to the center of Tel Aviv. The rooms are fine, spacious and part of them beautifully renovated. Try to get one of those! There is a great swimming pool on the roof , almost never crowded, with plenty of space and friendly staff serving drinks and food. The breakfast, inside or outside is an absolute "must"! I stayed for 2 nights at the Carlton whilst on a short business trip to Tel Aviv recently. Rather surprisingly the local taxi driver had some difficulties finding this hotel in the dark. When he finally located it just before midnight I then had to wait in the lobby, which was being completely redecorated, while a flight crew was being checked in. Finally I got my room on one of the upper floors. It was a corner room with a view out over the rooftops of the neighbouring buildings. The corner l... Read more

There are a number of things going for the hotel, with the location, the view from the rooftop bar and the reception staff amongst them (note that considering I checked in and out in the 4am-5am time windo, they didn't have much else to do at that time!). However, there are quite a few negatives. The room felt like it needed a refurb. And who puts the noisy minibar in the closet which is right next to the bed? Good thing I always travel with ear plugs! While the towels were thick and felt like... Read more

Also at the lobby bar only some untastefull sandwich is available and the answer is that I must order thru room service but I had checked out so had to saty hungry :-( The rest its fine but employees look like they are talking to a robot and the answer questions Hope I can help the hotel improve with my comments Thanks

I stayed at The Carlton Tel Aviv for four days on business. The staff was very courteous and responsive, and location was excellent for both business and pleasure. The beach view was great. The included breakfast was very good, as were the hotel owned restaurant and bar options, and it was so easy to find other restaurants within 1km on the beach. I hope to return and would highly recommend it.

Other things to recommend it are the beach bar and the small but pleasant bar within the hotel itself. Definitely a very good alternative to staying in a city centre hotel.

We had a room with use of Executive Lounge which was good. Small balcony but fantastic view. Any problems we had were sorted quicky. Gila came to the breakfast room most mornings we were there to check on the guests and she was most helpful. Hope to come back again soon

It's across the promenade from the hotel and we ate outside each morning. The view of the water, swimmers and surfers was great. It's a modern hotel. We had dinner at the hotel on our first night and enjoyed watching the chefs at work. There is a rooftop pool. We had drinks one late afternoon at the bar next to the pool and watched the sun set

The location of the Carlton (at the beach) is stellar. The roof top pool, restaurant and bar are cool. That's the good news. The rooms are dingy, with two dirty plastic orange chairs on the small balcony. The maid service is somewhat nonexistent, as our room trash cans took 3 days to get emptied. Our room had a city view unfortunately but we were only in the room to sleep. The hotel sports a great rooftop pool, a nice, albeit small fitness room, a very nice dry sauna, wet sauna and shower facility along with massage services, two restaurants, two bars, beachfront location and great service. Rooms are clean, spacious and well-appointed. Needed improvement is minor and would be a full-length mirror in rooms.
