What a wonderful 4 days we spent here. We arrived on Tuesday morning about 6am, knowing that check in is around 2pm. We were exhausted, cranky and were pleasantly surprised to learn that a suite on the 4th floor was available for our use. At that time, we would have settled on a couch in the reception area. So after we bathed, showered, had coffee from the coffee machine in our room, we just crashed until about 11am at which time I went downstairs to sort out room rates etc. As a returning gue... Excellent boutique hotel in central location. No restaurant or bar but breakfast can be taken at nearby cafe / bakery. Plenty restaurants close by. Rooms are small but very clean. Good rooftop terrace. Staff excellent and happy to help. Third time stayed at this hotel and will be back.

I stayed here for three nights in May. The staff was wonderfully helpful and offered lots of helpful suggestions. The rooms are quite small so I chose to upgrade from a single to what they classify as a "classic" room. It was fine for one person but would have been very tight for two people. The hotel has a lovely garden patio area where you can help yourself to coffee, tea, etc. also had delicious cookies and fruit. They do not have a restaurant but do offer a breakfast voucher plan to two near... Read more

Expectations are always the problem when choosing a hotel, holiday Etc so I find reviews best way to get a broad perspective. The Shenkin hotel is a modern city hotel with very limited facilities. There's a small self service seating area outside that closes early in the evening because of its close proximity to its neighbor's. That means no common area to simply relax after dinner. There's no Restaurant in the hotel either so a regular buffet (which I prefer for breakfast) is not possible 3 re... Read more

We liked everything very much: nice clean room, attentive stuff, rooftop terrace, and the coffee downstairs. We had the biggest room for our family and it was good size for all of us. The only comment I would like to add is that it would be fair for the guests to know that when they book the room with the breakfast they will need to go outside the hotel to one of the three cafes to have it. We loved the idea, and it let's you know the nearby small bakeries and cafes, but it would be nice to know... Read more

The staff greeted me very nicely upon check-in and they briefed me completely about the room and hotel services. When I checked out the hotel staff allowed me to keep my luggage at the hotel until my flight, so I could do some site seeing. I must admit my stay was very accommodating. Thank you! One slight problem worth mentioning: I took a taxi from the hotel, where I was quoted from the desk Manager a trip to the airport was 100 Shekels ($26.00) and if i use my credit card it will be 10 Shekel... Spent 2 nights there last June. It was great! Rooms are clean, not too big, but very confortable. Located right in the center, walking distance to the beach and lots of resturants. but on top of everything is the great feeling that the staff of the hotel gives you from the moment you walk into the lobby.

I travelled with a friend and we loved the ambiance, the friendly staff, the great location, the roof terrace and the patio with cookies, water, coffee, etc. I would recommend the Shenkin Hotel highly and will stay there again when I visit Tel Aviv. Staff was the most friendly I have encountered in a long time. Well done!

I was impressed by this hotel even before I got there. I sent a couple of emails regarding parking and they replied swiftly and with the information that I needed. We arrived at the hotel early and found much to my surprise that they had reserved me a parking spot in their minuscule car park. We left our bags and went to explore the city. Loved, loved, loved this hotel. We stayed twice - the first night we arrived in TA we were greeted with a glass of cold champagne. The room was a bit small but for just the one night, that was OK. We had a lot of luggage because we were staying for two weeks. We went travelling and came back for two nights at the end of our visit to Israel and this time we had a superior room which was just divine. We stayed over night for my birthday party and this stylish hotel made the atmosphere simply unique and memorable. Staff is outstanding and conveyed exactly the Shenkin "mood" of relaxation and chillout hospitality. The rooftop terrace is not trivial and enabled us to taste the minimal drip of Tel Aviv landscape. The Shenkin is a small, cozy, homy, clean, centrally located hotel in the heart of Tel Aviv. There are different size rooms to choose from, great aircondition, great shower, friendly staff. Lots of places are within walking distance including the national theatre, the main concert hall and an endless number of restaurants and caffees. No breakfeast - which turned out to be a great benefit because you get to pick lovely breakfeast joints. Preferablle to stay in this hotel without a car.

We spent Thursday night in tlv at the shinkinhotel. We had an amazing weekend, in the center of the city, a short walk to the beach, to Rotchild street with the cafe׳ and restaurants, the Carmel market. The stuff of the hotel is very friendly, the rooms are very clean, the design is modern and cool. We enjoyed every minute, and felt So much home in tel aviv. If you go there, don't miss the roof , with the pleasant breeze in the evening.

My apartment was flooded, so I needed an Hotelroom suddenly.Nearby was the Shenkin Hotel. The receptionist was extremely sturdy. He tried to change the roomprice to a higher price, when I chose a roomtype. He was very unhelpful, so I decided not to stay there.ð?? . I stayed at the Rothchild 96 hotel, where I was welcomed with a drink, amazing lovely staff, helped me out with everything. And my cappuccino in the bar was on the house. What a huge difference!

Located in the Bauhaus neighborhood of Tel Aviv and about 10 minutes from the beach, this chic-retro hotel provided a great location and environment to take a rest from the bustling city. The real gem of this place is her staff, who provided excellent customer service. We received fabulous (spot-on!) dining recommendations from Micky--there are some superb, authentic eats in this area. The room was spacious, spotless & had thoughtful accouterments. Would definitely return and recommend.

Stayed here on a business trip recently & first and foremost this is not a business hotel. There's no breakfast, no gym, no bar. These might seem trivial but when you're on a stacked trip the minimum you need to be able to do is grab a 10min breakfast on site before heading off to meetings. You can't do that at Shenkin, you need to take a voucher to one of 3 places nearby to get breakfast. This IMO is a huge PITA and a major negative. Added to which there's no gym - again, voucher (at cost to yo... Read more
