Its a nice little hotel but a bit expensive for what it is. There are better options available close by. In particular the hotels is noisy. There is construction next door which starts early, we were also woken up the the garbage collection around 6 am.

The location is excellent. The hotel is very nice, everything is new and beautiful. Very calm. The personnel are extremely genteel and service oriented. They offer you extra things like free international calls, English newspapers, a glass of cava when you arrive or cookies/tea at any time which is very nice

We stayed at the Shenkin for 2 nights and loved it. The staff were all so helpful and accommodating. Perfect for our family of 5. Loved the patio out front which served coffee, tea and cookies all day and evening!

I stayed at the Shenkin Hotel on my recent trip to Israel. I spent three nights in Tel Aviv and this hotel is an excellent option. Upon check in I was offered a glass of cava, which sadly I couldn't accept on this occasion due to not drinking, but it was a really nice touch. The staff at this hotel are one of its greatest assets. everyone I dealt with at the front desk was really helpfully, from suggesting local places to eat to helping organise transport to the airport. The service I received w... Read more

If you're looking for a nice hotel in Tel Aviv, Shenkin is certainly a great choice. Centraly located, cosy & with very friendly staff. To note: the many little design details of the hotel and the rooms, and the quite lounge terasse on the rooftop! The breakfast in nearby tea rooms may not be the ideal solution, but, why not... Great hotel!

our group stayed at the shenkin hotel for 2 nights on hanukkah holiday. arrived tel aviv on a rainy day, requested and were allowed early check in without additional charge. ordered 2 superior rooms. rooms were adjacent, sufficiently big on the 4th highest floor. beds and pillows were good, AC worked ok. main cons: room's floor wasn't clean while checking in and during our stay, and the blinds didn't offer total darkening at least in our room. hotel offers breakfast in any of 3 nearby restaur... Stayed here on a business trip recently & first and foremost this is not a business hotel. There's no breakfast, no gym, no bar. These might seem trivial but when you're on a stacked trip the minimum you need to be able to do is grab a 10min breakfast on site before heading off to meetings. You can't do that at Shenkin, you need to take a voucher to one of 3 places nearby to get breakfast. This IMO is a huge PITA and a major negative. Added to which there's no gym - again, voucher (at cost to yo... Read more

The hotel is small, friendly and with garden, cats, and a great rooftop. The room was small, but agreable with hardwood floor and a cosy bed. It's not far away from beach and market - but the street is calm. The service was very helpful to get around.

A lot of thought was put to provide good experience. Room is not large but design is in good taste and feel is comfy. Rooftop was unavailable due to weather conditions but seems awedome. All in all a good base for tel aviv experience.

Clean and modern rooms and interior, very friendly and helpful staff, the hotel feels intimate and personal, and has a great rooftop terrace too. I particularly liked the friendly yet sleepy hotel cat! The hotel is centrally placed in a district with both shops, resturants and bars within walking distance.
