Paid a little bit more for a "Privilege" room which was supposedly recently refurbished. I'm not sure this was the case: scratches on the wall, scuffs in the bath etc. The Privilege rooms are located on the 8,9,10 floor and offer either city view or sea view. Being higher up is certainly beneficial in order to avoid any noise from the streets. That said the hotel is on a fairly quiet road at night. The Privilege rooms also include 4 free drinks (water, can of coke, orange juice) which are not re... Read more

Got to stay there for a week (2 time). As soon as we arrived, we felt welcomed. The lady at the reception desk was very nice, gave us all the informations we nedeed and might be needing. The hotel is well located (5-10 mn walk from the beach), ; the rooms are good; the staff is very nice, always willing to help. Breakfast is good. Will definitely go back there

Good services although it's a little strange to have a meat free breakfast in a hotel. The bar closes early but you are so close to the strip beat to the beach around the US embassy that i would recommend just popping out for a short walk. The bonus with this hotel is the gym on the 11 th floor is small but good enough and you havebav sea view whilst on the rubbing machinesc!

Very pleasant service in a great central location, with a well-appointed room provided with comfortable balcony affording spectacular sea view. The staff were friendly, helpful and answered all questions well.

Honestly I have booked this hotel because of price and to get some Accor points, but I was very surprised how good is it. The location is just 10 min walk from the beach of Tel-Aviv and 5 min drive from the Harbor and from "Old train station". So it is very good located. The room was very good, new and clean, and the staff were extremely friendly. Shortly - this hotel is way better than average Mercure in Europe. I would definetly advise it!

Mecure hotel Tel Aviv city center has great location - seaside is close, market, bars and cafes. Mecure hotel is enough good for business travelers. Everything here works well by schedule, service is good quality. Ask non-smoker room and if you smoke - go to Entrance - it is interesting and room will not be smoked Real visit date: End of 2011

Good location just back from the beach with good restaurants near by (the TripAdvisor #1 at time of writing is 10 mins away). Staff are friendly and very helpful. Decent breakfast buffet (which starts at 0630, a godsend for the early tour pickups), but the place needs a renovation - it's getting tired.

Close to the beach, to the market (Carmel), to the Tahana, to old Jaffa, Dizengof...to anywhere. Great public transportation. The people at this hotel are making it all. Nice, pleasant, they try to accommodate everyone. Clean rooms, simple and with all one needs. Receptionists are very kind, including Chana who is their manager and was always very helpful. Good breakfast till 11:00 AM.

The standard Israelian hotel, of course not at European standards. Anyhow very good location and a small parking is available, very important in this part of the city. Good wifi and acceptable breakfast. Very friendly staff.

The room was rather small, but clean and comfortable. The gym was small and closed on sabath day, the sauna inside the gym was also small. The Cafe Cafe restaurant served breakfast everyday, good breakfast buffet. The staffs were friendly. The best was the location of the hotel, very near the beach and Dyzengoff shopping was only few blocks. Around the area there were many stores and restaurants.

Booked the hotel fairly last minute. We were well received at arrival and the service in general was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and in our case contained even an espresso machine, which for me is always a great touch. Breakfast offered a good buffet with various options and was set in a coffee shop like location. Only the location could be slightly better. But all in all a place that I would return to.

Overall - the hotel staff was very pleasant but there there is a cleanliness issue with the rooms. The bathrooms, in particular, need to be cleaned and refreshed - there was a strong mold odor in my bathroom.

We booked the Privilege room with seaview and a balcony, which is the highest standard the hotel has to offer. It is well worth the extra charge, as the room was excellent, with an outstanding air conditioner (very important in the Israeli summer), a Nesspresso machine and capsules, and free bottles of water and soda, We were also extended a late check-out free of charge. Breakfast was very good as well, in my opinion. The location is just shy of the better part of Tel Aviv. If it would have b... Read more

It was our first time in Tel Aviv and Sara made our stay wonderful. She was helpful in guiding us around the city and securing a reservation at a hot restaurant. Tip, the breakfast is great but go early or go late as it gets very busy.

My stay was really great and I will recommend the Mercure hotel if you visit Tel-Aviv. It is well located, in a safe area, easy to access everything (5 minutes from the Beach. So even on business trip, you can easily spend some time at the Sea front), very nice people there and very supportive. It is a low profile hotel worth discovering. Nice sauna and gym ;). Only thing that did not work was the international call they advertised.

This hotel is close to the beach ( minutes walk) and also close to the city center. Hotel is clean, service is good. But it is not a charming hotel, because no gardens... It is a city center hotel, good place for business or to spend - nights in Tel Aviv
