This is an extremely well run hotel. I have no hesitation in recommending it to travellers - especially people new to the city and on a long weekend break. The restaurant has a great vibe and the staff were extremely friendly. Bear in mind that apart from the beach Tel Aviv is not a particularly quiet city! Dani and the front desk team were very keen to make my stay as perfect as possible. Excellent location - close to all the bars and shops.

we spent 3 days exploring Tel Aviv. The location of this hotel is so convenient. We beached, visited the sights and shopped and we could almost walk everywhere. The room and common areas are beautifully and tastefully appointed and we ate the very best breakfast ever! The front staff were very pleasant and helpful too. I will stay there on my return

Neat little hotel just off the seafront in a very convenient location. Clean smart rooms and friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast, shame I didn't have more time to enjoy it in the morning, the staff even provided me with a takeaway breakfast the morning I left at 0545 for the airport. Didn't manage to eat at the restaurant as it was fully booked every night but according to my colleagues from Tel Aviv it is excellent.

I stayed at this hotel at the end of an 8 day program I had participated in in Israel. I was looking forward to a comfy room and a few good nights' sleep. I had booked a standard room initially through a travel agent but then contacted the hotel directly regarding having a friend stay for one night and upgrading to a superior room to allow for the additional person (as standard rooms are very small). When I arrived the hotel didn't have any information on file regarding my request for a twin ... Read more

We spent our final two days in Tel Aviv after a busy hectic two week sojourn in Israel. Choosing the Mendeli Street Hotel worked out well because we were not in need of a large space with large amenities! We booked a loft room that turned out to be a room with the sink/vanity positioned in the middle of the room! Not quite sure why this was considered a loft but anyways! The room was clean and modern. The shower was large and water pressure was great. Breakfast was typically Israeli with lo... Read more

My wife and I spent a week in Tel Aviv and absolutely loved this hotel. The location is totally central to anything you want in the city, it is surrounded by great shops, dining, and best of all 1 block from the beach. We upgraded our room, the bed was king size and very comfortable, the hotel was super clean and organized. The location was quiet and has a good little gym. The BEST part though is the amazing restaurant in the hotel with breakfasts fit for a king (included) We also dined there ... Read more

We stayed here 4 nights and it is a fine place to explore the fantastic city of Tel Aviv. Room is small but comfortable with a good bathroom and shower. Restaurant with bar is very pleasant with good service and outstanding breakfast. From the hotel you be on the beach within 5 minutes! When can i come back??

This review is somewhat long. It is an ambivalent review the title indicates. When I travel I look for a clean, quiet hotel with comfortable beds, and good AC when needed. The Mendeli offers that. However, this is where the Mendeli falls flat for me. If I write in my comments when I make the reservation, that I need non- feather pillows and bedding, I would expect that I would be accommodated upon arrival. Pillows they had- though I had to ask that they change them when I got there- but n... Read more

We had a wonderful stay. Location is excellent, close to the shuk and a few minutes walk to the beach. Staff was professional and accommodating, the breakfast was one of the best we've had I. Israel and the restaurant -bar scene very hip with a great positive vibe. Room was super clean, comfortable, bed was great. Only one need for improvement-towels in the bathroom were not great. One hand towel actually had a hole...But everything else was great do we were unconcerned.

Mendeli Street Hotel is a stylish and modern upscale hotel just minutes away from the Tel Aviv beaches. Superb rooms, modern design, simplicity ?? Mendeli Street Hotel is one of the most elegant boutique hotels I have ever stayed! I really enjoyed my stay..very modern and upscale while also warm and friendly. Wonderful breakfast in an inviting restaurant space. The room was very comfortable, although with a queen bed there was little space for suitcases etc. (However, the room was great in all other ways, including free wifi, upscale bathroom, etc.

We simply loved everything about our stay at the Mendeli. The hotel has a great style, all the staff are very friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast is amazing and delicious. The breakfast includes a buffet, coffee, cold drink, and one main course (omelette, shakshuka, etc.). In the evening, the lobby/restaurant has a great lounge atmosphere. Our one complaint was that there was no hot water in the shower due to an electric issue earlier in the day. ... Read more

Yet again TripAdvisor comes good, as this is where I discovered the Mendeli Street Hotel. All of the reviews I've read are true, great location, good clean rooms, and a fantastic breakfast. The rooms are modern, light and airy. There is a gym, of sorts. It has some Technogym equipment, free weights, bench, treadmill, bike and cross trainer. Be warned, the air conditioning isn't good enough of a strenuous workout. My recommendation is to get up early and jog along the promenade. I also paid in ad... Read more

Hotel is very modern and hipster like environment. It was very clean and the location was about one block away from the beach. The area around is a bit dirty because of the construction around the city but Mendeli is spotless! If you need a spacious room, get the suite its worth the extra amount, especially if you need a king size bed. Good breakfast, clean, good location, I would stay here again!

Unfortunately money got stolen from our room safe, the staff at the front desk was very kind and trying to help in this situation but the management was just useless, they were not even available to talk to. This boutique-ish hotel has some style, but very little substance. One front desk agent couldn't be bothered to look up from her phone when we needed information. Other agents curtly answered ??no?? to our questions and walked away (e.g., do you have bikes available for guests?) rather than suggesting alternatives. For me this hotel was really nice. Positive things: breakfast with local food was extremely good. Location - not on the beach but the distance is really acceptable, and you can walk and swim in the see. You are able to reach by foot Yaffo and city center. Room are clean and you have a good cosmetics "417". I have only one negative point - view from the window. There is no view :) but is it really necessary if you spent time on the bach or in the city??
