The hotel seems nice when you enter the lobby. It looks modern, and minimalistic. However when you take the elevatoryou notice that it is quite small. Stayed on the 5th floor. The room is ok. Beds are a bit hard, but there is hardly any place to put down more than 1suitcase! There is no iron in the room to iron shirts. The room looks like it was renovated not too long ago. But for all it is worth. It is not 4stars, but maybe 3,5. It is good value for your money, with a walking distance to bo... Read more

great location, pretty decent, clean, wonderful staff but needs a lot of improvement when it comes to their services...only the lobby wifi worked during our 6 days stay and i was at the 4th floor, so i had to go down over and over again just to be able to get an first our room telephone did not work but good thing they were quick to replace it. the food was great but the same menu all the time! very small elevator that only about 3-4 medium built people can fit in at one time...ami... The hotel is great for a quick one night stay in Jerusalem , it's well situated , clean and well priced. The only disadvantage was the parking which was not well marked, difficult to locate and not included in charge even though I booked 3 rooms for the night.

We have booked the hotel directly, but found the offer on, so hotel gave usbthe same price. The rooms are small and we have had a problem with the lock of window.. There was really cold on the rooms. Good location, breakfast ok..

Very accommodating and customer friendly. Great food too. The service was good and the staff and employees were kind. The location of the hotel was walking distance from most shops and cafes. The four to five days stay was quite memorable for all of us. We even had a private conference prepared for us every early evening before dinner. Thank you very much for a great stay.

Stayed here with my boyfriend, who was leading a trip of young professionals. The rooms were cool and comfortable, with a nice shower, though the hairdryer was placed in a way that made it very difficult to use. The room was a little small, and the hotel doesnt have any amenities like a gym or pool. Ate in the hotel, which was simple and rather oily, but tasty. Location was great, right in the center of town, close to the old city and the light rail. Reasonably priced for the area.

Actually the location seemed pretty good. Where to start with this place?! We'll start with the staff since that's the first impression. The staff was apathetic to downright rude. We had been in Israel for a number of days and understand there's some cultural things that maybe we don't get but the rudeness was on a new level. The staff was more interested in playing facebook video games. (Note: If you guys like FB games, this staff might actually be good to invite... just saying). Fro... Read more

Stayed at this hotel with a group for three nights. The room was great, service was friendly, but the food was way below expectations. After having delicious food at all of our previous hotels in Israel we were disappointed. There were limited options for breakfast and dinner and dinner was bland. The good news is that there are plenty of options in walking distance.

I stayed at the Metropolitan for four nights in July, 2016. This is a very serviceable Jerusalem hotel. It is very popular with groups, and there were several Birthright groups of teens there when I was there( I was also with a group). I enjoyed my stay at the Metropolitan. It's best feature is its location--West Jerusalem, right near fun shopping and dining and an easy walk to the Old City. The food was good, like many hotel buffets in Israel, but not terribly special. The staff was very helpfu... Read more

The hotel was in a quiet and centre area close to the Main Shopping Street and the old town (5-10 minutes walking). The hotel seems to be remodelled few years ago and the reception is nicely furnished. The size of the room is small but well distributed. The bath room was clean and modern as well as the room. The breakfast buffet is so limited and not very good. They do not have any kind of cold meat ( no ham, no turkey, etc) and they do not offer fresh orange juice or chocolate milk for those wh... When I needed a hotel room for a couple of nights and choices were few because of a holiday, I ended up here and I couldn't wait to leave. The best thing I can say about it is that it is centrally located and convenient. Also, being on Hillel Street, if you need someplace to eat on the Sabbath, there are a number of restaurants that are open. As for the hotel itself, the room was OK. The hotel staff was professional. I did, however, have a problem getting into my room when my card didn't wo... Read more

Booking this place, turn down your expectation. The hotel has a good, practical location. Only 5-10 min walk from the Jaffa gate. 30min from Central bus station and bazar. During the night time there are a lot of activities around the hotel. Nice bar, restaurants are open even in shabbat or holy days. So you will be not hungry or thirsty. Be aware of taxi drivers. They are kind of scavengers and want to have 50 shekels for 20 shekels drive. Service in the hotel very good. Staff is very friendly... Read more

I stayed here before a conference because I wanted to see Jerusalem. We dropped our bags behind the desk when we arrived, and our rooms were ready an hour early at 1 which was appreciated. The room was small but functional, with a great bed, adequately sized desk, and nice bathroom which was clean. The AC is powerful and you have control over it. The windows are small, so not a great view. The breakfast was fine, and downtown Jerusalem as well as the Old City are both easily accessible by foot. ... Read more

We stayed here for 4 days and 5 nights. The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the Old City. It was close to bars, restaurants, and even a market across the street where we got bottled water for our day trips. The most disappointing part of our stay here, was the front desk staff were not very pleasant. My husband had kindly asked them a few questions and the man was short and rude with his responses. He had no intention of helping. When we got back at night after dinner, w... Read more
