Hotel location is convenient, the clerk is friend. Provide w Wifi, signal is poor. Provide w hair dryer, burly no Kettle. Provide w shampoo, shower gel. The biggest issue I have w this hotel is, there is bed bud on the bed. Two out of three nights I stay there, I was bite by the bed bud.

We stayed here for 4 days and 5 nights. The hotel is in a great location. Walking distance to the Old City. It was close to bars, restaurants, and even a market across the street where we got bottled water for our day trips. The most disappointing part of our stay here, was the front desk staff were not very pleasant. My husband had kindly asked them a few questions and the man was short and rude with his responses. He had no intention of helping. When we got back at night after dinner, w... Read more

I stayed here before a conference because I wanted to see Jerusalem. We dropped our bags behind the desk when we arrived, and our rooms were ready an hour early at 1 which was appreciated. The room was small but functional, with a great bed, adequately sized desk, and nice bathroom which was clean. The AC is powerful and you have control over it. The windows are small, so not a great view. The breakfast was fine, and downtown Jerusalem as well as the Old City are both easily accessible by foot. ... Read more

Booking this place, turn down your expectation. The hotel has a good, practical location. Only 5-10 min walk from the Jaffa gate. 30min from Central bus station and bazar. During the night time there are a lot of activities around the hotel. Nice bar, restaurants are open even in shabbat or holy days. So you will be not hungry or thirsty. Be aware of taxi drivers. They are kind of scavengers and want to have 50 shekels for 20 shekels drive. Service in the hotel very good. Staff is very friendly... Read more

When I needed a hotel room for a couple of nights and choices were few because of a holiday, I ended up here and I couldn't wait to leave. The best thing I can say about it is that it is centrally located and convenient. Also, being on Hillel Street, if you need someplace to eat on the Sabbath, there are a number of restaurants that are open. As for the hotel itself, the room was OK. The hotel staff was professional. I did, however, have a problem getting into my room when my card didn't wo... Read more

The hotel was in a quiet and centre area close to the Main Shopping Street and the old town (5-10 minutes walking). The hotel seems to be remodelled few years ago and the reception is nicely furnished. The size of the room is small but well distributed. The bath room was clean and modern as well as the room. The breakfast buffet is so limited and not very good. They do not have any kind of cold meat ( no ham, no turkey, etc) and they do not offer fresh orange juice or chocolate milk for those wh... I stayed at the Metropolitan for four nights in July, 2016. This is a very serviceable Jerusalem hotel. It is very popular with groups, and there were several Birthright groups of teens there when I was there( I was also with a group). I enjoyed my stay at the Metropolitan. It's best feature is its location--West Jerusalem, right near fun shopping and dining and an easy walk to the Old City. The food was good, like many hotel buffets in Israel, but not terribly special. The staff was very helpfu... Read more

Stayed at this hotel with a group for three nights. The room was great, service was friendly, but the food was way below expectations. After having delicious food at all of our previous hotels in Israel we were disappointed. There were limited options for breakfast and dinner and dinner was bland. The good news is that there are plenty of options in walking distance.

Actually the location seemed pretty good. Where to start with this place?! We'll start with the staff since that's the first impression. The staff was apathetic to downright rude. We had been in Israel for a number of days and understand there's some cultural things that maybe we don't get but the rudeness was on a new level. The staff was more interested in playing facebook video games. (Note: If you guys like FB games, this staff might actually be good to invite... just saying). Fro... Read more
