I stayed here in December 2016 and it was, by far, the worst place we stayed our entire trip. The lobby is decent and that's where it ends. The dining room isn't bad either and the food is pretty good. The rooms, however, are an entirely different story. They need updating very very badly! The room next to us lost power and our lights flickered constantly. The walls must be paper thin because I could hear everything our neighbors up and down the hall were saying. It is nice that it's a kosher ho... Read more

Clean rooms and decent breakfast but customer service is poor. Could not check in until 9pm without any apology or reason given. Staff at reception more interested in their mobile phones then answering questions. Keys failed to work a few times too. In need of improvement

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights last month. The location is excellent as it is in the center of the city, the cleanliness is reasonable. I did not find that maintenance of the hotel is being done well. The bathroom sink would not drain water, the door of the bathroom did not close properly.... to say the least. I also did not find the staff to be very helpful. During the morning and evening rush hours, the front desk was managed by just one person, leading to a long queue which is very und... Read more

I am displeased. I prepaid for 2 rooms to be connected (I have kids) but upon check-in they informed me that they had NO connecting rooms, so we were placed in one small room with two twin beds (attached). They offered to put us in 2 different rooms (not connecting) but how the heck is that supposed to help when I have children? I specifically requested 2 connecting rooms. So not only did we not receive two connecting rooms, we were then all placed in 1 tiny room. I asked for a refund of my 2nd ... Read more

The shower flooded the bathroom every day: supposedly was fixed twice to no avail. No amenities except for a television the size of a laptop which the first night we could not use because the remote was burned by the acid of old batteries. The hairdryer came off the wall the first time we tried to use it. The water in the shower came out as a trickle from the head and from the faucet. The wardrobe had not been cleaned at all when we checked in. A small fridge sat on a shelf at an angle in the wa... Read more

Above average hotel with a nice lobby and bar. It was sometimes hard to get an elevator during morning and dinner hours. The desk was not very helpful with requests. The rooms are very small with 2 twin beds, tea pot, and refrigerator. The dinner buffets had lots of salads and 2 or 3 meat choices. The food was average and repetitive. Breakfast had eggs, yogurts, cereals, salads, and breads. I was disappointed in the shopping center because they were not allowed to sell any Christian items. Th... Read more

Jerusalem Gate Hotel is walking distance to the new Conference Center and much cheaper than the slightly closer Crowne Plaza. You can enter through a mall and take a tunnel under Yafo street to your conference. It is also semi-walking distance (about 30-40 min, 1-2 miles) to downtown, the Yehuda Mehane market and the old city, which is important on Friday night/ Saturday when all public transport stops. The breakfast is included and has quite a lot of milky choices - many salads, egg and chees... Read more

That place ia nice hotel. The lobby gives you feel luxury but its not really like that. The rooms is ok, with good breakfast. The location is terrible. Nearly the central station of Jerusalem. All day you can hear sound of buses. More than that, there is nothing in the hotel's area, except of buses.
