Although the location is excellent, the hotel is in poor shape and our room was not clean at all. In fact, there was a piece of old chewing gum stuck to the bathtub! The front desk staff was ok but not overly helpful. The "breakfast" was terrible - instant coffee, no juice, you get the picture... They did give us new sheets when asked (however, we shouldn't have had to ask).

The hotel is absolutely dissapointing. Old, unmaintained, dirty, no facilities, miserable breakfast. Moreover, other than hosting tourists, it is also used for different purposes (...) The only good thing about this hotel is its location on Zion Square, ten minutes walking distance from the old city.

We went to this hotel on good luck, because its location is perfect close to Zion square and a 10 minutes walk to the Old Town. However, the rooms are dirty, the breakfast is the worst I ever had in Israel, and the staff is not friendly. Besides, it is way too expensive.

This hotel is in urgent need of total renovation. It is dirty, the furnishings are decrepit, the staff unhelpful, the food basic and scanty. It is way overpriced. If you are not planning to be in your room much and to spend all your time sightseeing, you may be happy or at least not too unhappy, but it is a miserable place to be. I would not go there again.

This was the first property I ever stayed at in Israel and I put my groups here for 2 consecutive trips. Finally, I could no longer stand the place. Nasty was the operative word for Habira. It has become somewhat of a joke after all these (now 13) years of bringing groups to the Land. After reading the more recent reviews, it seems things haven't changed. Funny thing is, we would gladly return if owners would make their property decent. Cleanliness would be a nice beginning. Attempt at a good br... Read more
