Great caring staff. Easy check-in. The rooms are modern, spacious and clean. The location is excellent and a few minutes' walk to Jaffa Street. The wifi was a bit slow, and also would recommend they add more cutlery in the rooms.

Friendly staff, spacious rooms only a few minutes from Jaffa gate. We enjoyed our stay very much. The hotel is clean and in the vicinity of a supermarket and several restaurants and bars. Only WIFI is working very slowly.

Good hotel in the city centre of Jerusalem. The staff there is very helpful and always had an answer to our questions. We got upgraded to the 1-bed flat: it was nice with a balcony directly on the street. The bathroom needs some TLC but it was overall a very nice experience. It's really easy to walk to everywhere in Jerusalem from Hillel 11.

We found this hotel on the internet and at first were a bit sceptical, no need to worry. A very small entrance hides a very good well equipped Apart/hotel which is just what we wanted. The rooms are comfortable, well equipped and the additional lounge area is very useful. It has Free Wi-Fi and satellite TV. Coffee making facilities are provided in the room. The staff are very helpful and happy to advise you on where to go, where to eat and what to see. We will stay here again!

My room was very little but I got what I paid for... My suggestion is to pay a bit more but you'll get more spacious rooms. The position is simply perfect! Near the public transports and a lot of markets.. Very nice!

The location of this hotel is amazing for Jerusalem. The rooms are large and very well kept. While the hotel does not have a large lobby, it makes it up by the size of the rooms. This is by far the best hotel for the price in the area! I highly recommend it and have already recommended it to several friends!

We stayed two nights here, which was picked based on the reviews on Trip Advsior. Location is very good, about 1 km to walk to the Old City, lots of restaurants and bars just outside the hotel, parkering close by, and really helpful staff who where there 24 hours/7.Very clean, good aircon (a bit loud maybe) and we got a free uppgrade, so we had a suite with a little balcony. Can definitly recommend this hotel.

Great location in the triangle of the city shops and restaurants area and only a few minutes to the Mamilla mall and to Jaffa gate. Nice service and small but clean and nice rooms that you won't want to spend your time in but are good to get a rest in the cool well air conditioned rooms during the heat of the day.

This boutique hotel was a great find in a fantastic part of the neighborhood! Perfect location for exploring the historic sites as well as the bustling night life of the newer side of town! The staff is friendly and the room was very clean! Great stay!

Hillel 11 is like a simple apartment hotel around the corner from Ben Yehuda St., a feel-safe tourist place at night, and about a 10-15-minute walk from Jaffa Gate and attractions in Jerusalem's Old City. It was clean, especially quiet on the Sabbath (!), and staff are friendly and helpful. Summer is hot in Jerusalem, so get extra water!

We arrived at the hotel . We didn't get the room that we thought we were getting completely mislead. The manager after much discussion agreed to change the room . The first room nothing worked , from the safe to the lamps not working , to the water coming out everywhere from the shower . They gave us a new room which was 200 times better . BUT !! When my wife lost an earring the dust under the beds was so thick not pleasant . The location great but needs basic maintenance.

If you're looking for luxury and amenities... This is not the place for you. If you're looking for good vibes and a place to explore old and a new Jerusalem it is. The staff is the BEST in Jerusalem. Get a studio apartment with a balcony to hang out after a long day and sip some Israeli wine. It's up a large hill from the Old City- so may not be the best place if you're not into uphill walking. We loved the location because you can meander through a part of new Jerusalem from the Old City on you... Read more

Hillel 11 has done a lot with a small space. It is a charming lobby with a very pleasant and helpful staff waiting to serve. The suite was roomy and new wirh everything we needed. And the price was right!

I stayed at Hillel11 for 2.5 weeks in July. It was the ideal location, right in the heart of Jerusalem's center. The room was perfect: clean, spacious and well-equipped. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And the price was very reasonable. Can't recommend this hotel more.

Hillel 11 apart-hotel is just that: a combination between an apartment and a hotel room. It is self catering, although breakfast can be included at an additional cost. The unit we stayed in has a small table, a sink, a kettle and a small bar fridge. The bathroom only has a shower, but the shower head provides a caressing stream of hot water that soothes the back. The geyser need to be switched on about 10 minutes before use, so factor that into your planning. The bed has modern covers and c... Read more

The hotel is situated in one of the most central areas of Jerusalem. However, once in the room it is quiet and you would never guess that you're on one of the busiest streets of the city. The staff was more than helpful. Any problem was taking care of professionally and within a short amount of time. Would definitely recommend this to friends.

Pros: great location 15 mins walk from Jaffa gate (note Hillel St seems to be a hub for shabbat shops/restaurants that are actually open - try Berta and the mini mart) and for that area a good price. Cons: Our room was dark, needed repairs, had a unique smell and cleaners only ran through the very basics while we were out each day. Service is ok. If you are looking for accommodation that is passable this will suffice. If you want something a bit more hospitable then might be worth shopping aroun... Read more

Staff friendly & helpful. The furnishings, the bedding & linen , the cleanliness are awful. I was very disappointed & regretted having booked at this hotel. If you do stay at this hotel get a room off Hillel street which is very noisy.

We spent one night there. Location is great. Close to the market 'MAHANE YEHUDA' 15 minutes walk from the old city. We reserved a small suit with a balcony. Bad view. The room is nice with a small living room and a kitchen. Not clean enough. When we asked the reception to clean the toilet, the receptionist said he had no one to do it. Said he would send the cleaning lady in the morning, but she never came. Also asked for a hair dryer which didn't work. Price for night was ok. Location great and ... Read more

Have your expectations in line when staying at Hillel 11. The front desk staff is great as the other reviewers say. The location is rather good, which is very important if you like to walk to as much as possible. It took me 25 or so minutes from Hillel 11 to the Kotel but much less time to good restaurants, a decent market (Super Fresh is one block away), and the Grand Synagogue (8 minutes walk), and decent shopping for everything. Other places were much further to walk, and remember there a... Read more

It's in a great location, I can't remember if Expedia, Travelocity or bookings posted the hotel had parking and it doesn't, you have to pay for your own parking. Also they said their Amex terminal wasn't working. It's in a great location and the rooms are ok. It served its purpose for tonight.

We knew what to expect but we're not very happy. It's very very small. Hard to get into the bathroom and out. The TV is in the "salon" and the couch is an uncomfortable place to sit. Missed having the TV in the bedroom. The towels were thin and working on some holes. There were two coffee cups and a few coffees and two teas. The bed was another disappointment. Not comfy and seemed a bit short. Pillows were "ehh". Nice little balcony but all in all it was just functional and not a "pleasure". Goo... Read more

The only positive thing I can say about the hotel is that it was in a good location. For the rest, it was pathetic. I made the reservation in June for October and just before my arrival I discovered (only because I reconfirmed to be sure) that they no longer had my family suite available. After much arguing, they agreed to honour the reservation. Upon arrival, the staff member on duty couldn't have cared less if we were there or not. The sleeper couch for two of my kids was not made up and there... Read more

Based on our travel, we arrived a few hours before check in. The staff was welcoming and did their best to get a room ready for us (3 travelers). The first room we received was not cleaned but after we informed the front desk, they ensured the actual room we stayed in was cleaned. As first time travelers to Israel, we were pleased with the location of the hotel.

Very good position, friendly staff and specialy Jane. It was just strange for us, that we've got all the time coffee and water for 2 (we were 3 person in the apartment ). Thanks a lot Jane, for the bottle of wine too.

The staff at the reception is very helpful and knowledgeable. I got a bus timetable to travel from Jerusalem to Tel Aviv which was very helpful. Also restaurant tips were useful. Unfortunately the room was not very clean, especially the bath room (shower and toilet!) were very dirty. Hocks for towels are missing, also there is not a lot of space for your stuff in the bath.

Was very happily surprised by our stay at this small hotel. Location was great walking distance to everything in center of town but nice and quiet. Staff was very friendly and helpful;. We were upgraded to a suite which was great. Our own little apt equipped with everything we could need including high end shampoo and cream, electric kettle, refrigerator tea and coffee. Great bathroom with roomy walk in shower, comfortable bed and living room suite and spotless clean.
