Charming combination of oriental stone building with modern interior. Rooms are very nicely decorated and so are the public areas. Happy hour with free wine, fruits and even pasta and of course coffee, teas and coockies. Close to the Carmelit that will take you to Carmel center.

The hotel service staff and ambience is excellent. It is centrally located near enough to the shore and the trendy foodie area as well. The hotel is very contemporary and the rooms are quaint with enough size for a small sitting room in each. They have a happy hour from 530 to 8 PM with a free 15 minute massage for each guest with enough food that you wouldn't have to go out to eat as well as a full breakfast in the a.m.

The boutique hotel is very clean and the front desk staff was very pleasant. The rooms were very nice......ask not to get a room next to the is right next to the elevator and I heard everyone's conversations. The staff in the dining room need to smile and pretend they enjoy their job and the guests. The pasta at happy hour is frozen cooked and nothing special. The food was enough, but not a draw. Breakfast was enough.....but I had been told that the breakfasts at hotels in Isra... Read more

Our room in this hotel was beautiful. The room was spacious and also offered a spacious well equipped bathroom with nice toiletries. The room was light and bright. Our room had a small balcony overlooking the lights on the hill. The room was very quiet. In addition, there is a full breakfast and a nice atrium eating area. This hotel also offers a happy hour with wine and appetizers in addition to complimentary shoulder massages. Definitely one of my favorite hotels on our stay in Israel. ... Read more

From the moment we stepped into this hotel we were impressed. Lovely sitting room of the main hall, very friendly and helpful reception staff. We had a lovely room with very comfortable beds. The hotel has a happy hour ( actually 2 hours) with snacks and drinks. Very welcome after a long day. It meant we didn't have to go out to dinner. Breakfast was excellent and we enjoyed it in the sunroom overlooking the garden. A lovely hotel we would gladly return to.

We stayed at Bay Club for two nights in March. It is a beautiful property with spacious public areas and a nice breakfast/ happy hour area. The staff were very helpful with directions, restaurant reservations, etc. Our room was on the top floor with a wrap-around balcony that viewed both the hills and the water. The bed was very comfortable and the bath area nice with a great shower. The only downside to this location is that it is a 15 minute walk to the area for restaurants. But it helped work... Read more

Like other Atlas hotels, this one has personality and a lot of extras, boutique style. Nice lobby and public areas. Room was large and airy, clean and comfy. Breakfast buffet and free happy hours were wonderful. Location is on a busy street corner. Very accommodating staff.

This hotel, which appears to be brand new, is stylishly decorated with expensive furniture and finishing touches, like beautiful crown molding, plush carpeting, and gorgeous paint colors on the walls. Visually, the hotel is really, really lovely. Moreover, a lot of attention was paid to enhance guest comfort. The mattresses and pillows on the beds are super comfortable, the wifi is excellent, and the breakfast is very tasty. Even the music they play in the lobby and other public areas is unusual... Bay Cub is a well run, charming boutique style hotel... Wonderful service; great happy hour, very accommodating... Made wonderful suggestions about things to do... Would recommend for all. One of our favorites was the complimentary massage during happy hour. If you are traveling to the Haifa area, we would highly recommend.

I am not kidding. A piece of the doorframe and surrounding wall came down on my daughter and my mom, who were staying in the room next to us. My wife, son and I were in the room next door. The manager sent a note with fruit apologizing and telling us the construction company would be contacted, etc. he also offered to comp both rooms for the night. The next morning, as we were on our way to meet our tour guide the front desk stopped my mom and daughter as they were leaving the lobby and demanded... Read more

Great boutique hotel in the heart of the city of Haifa. Surprisingly very quite and don't hear the street noise. Great design and decorative. The rooms are great and small but very functional bathrooms with great water pressure in the showers. Very nice breakfast and dining area. (Pic) Great staff.

Spent one night at the Bay Club hotel, which is in a beautifully renovated old house. The rooms are small, clean and we had a great harbor view. The stay includes a happy hour in the evening and a nice breakfast. We walked down the hill to the restaurants and pubs by the harbor (about 500m). The trip can even be done by the only underground rail in Israel (especially on the way back up).

The Bay Club hotel is top notch. So beautiful, calm soothing colors and a all around relaxing vibe. The front desk was so helpful and very friendly. Ask them anything, they will have a answer for you. The dining room is downstairs. Take the stairs or the elevator. The garden room is absolutely wonderful for a morning breakfast....they have a garden with running water, beautiful flowers and vines. The food was delicious. A typical Israeli breakfast. Located in a classic building the Bay Club is a friendly hotel. Staff is good and willing to accommodate. The room we were in needed some work and freshening. Just not up to snuff. The hotel is well situated close to the underground to take you up to the B'hai Gardens, walking distance to the German Colony and the downtown near the ocean.

It's been many years since I have travelled to Haifa and the Bay Club made the trip worthwhile. This is a recently renovated boutique hotel and although small hit the mark. Rooms were average size but immaculate. The bathroom does not have a bath but has a large shower instead. I much prefer this to the standard shower in the bath found in many Israeli hotels. The nightly free happy hour was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast was good although without the range or quantity of larger hotels. Staff we... Read more

From the staff to the rooms to the food...this is a wonderful hotel at a great price with a view of the bay and easy access to local transportation. We stayed here last year and booked two rooms this time for our adult children. The rooms were adjoining which was a big plus for them. We were all in Israel for the wedding of another one of our children. The staff at the hotel is so nice! They are so helpful, warm, kind and considerate. The hotel is very well decorated and could be the greatest in the area easily. Just need some effort on service & smile just for a few of the team members. For example : refill cool water in the lobby when the jar is empty, don't let the staff drink it in order to let some for the customers. Or help with luggage when we walk up the stairs to check-in.

This is a good hotel on the fancy side, but all in all pretty disappointing. Next time in Haifa I will choose a different hotel. Let's start with the staff - those all seem to me like students, whot are not really in the tourism or hotel management field. I came with a rental car. When I called the hotel ahead of time, the person at the desk could not tell me where is the closest parking garage. We went to Israel for my bat mitzvah with my grandparents. We were so excited to celebrate all together. The rule is only 3 people in a room so I had to stay in my grandmas room. We were moving our bags to the side of the room so they weren't in the way. We came back into our room from a long day of touring. And opened the door... 5 seconds later the door frame completely fell down. Not expected. We called downstairs immediately the guy picks up with a complete attitude how rude. Some one could ... Had two nights at the Bay in Haifa. Located downtown and about 5-10 min walk from restaurants etc. Room 1 has a loft room and although near lift and reception we didn't hear a sound. Happy Hour (more like 2-3 hrs) is a wonderful added bonus. Free wine and drinks and beautiful array of light snacks and food. Throw in the free massage for 15 min whilst you enjoy your glass of wine and this could be heaven. Staff really looked after me with my gluten allergy.

Front desk staff efficient, helpfull and nice. A new, elegant and very quiet place. Complimentary evening wine and canapes. Perhaps breakfast would be a point to be improved: the narrow corner where the foods are placed, the variety and the abrupt manners of the dinning room lady manager. A pleasure to come back every evening.

When you step into this hotel you know immediately that something special is going on. Even for an Atlas. Decorated impeccably in cool blues and greens, it retains the feeling of the Old Arab stone house it once was. Finishes are all first rate.
