I was on a group tour and found staff to be very accommodating .Some breakfast had difficulty with English but always found someone who could help.Free happy hour food and wine could serve as supper. Great breakfast and free coffee at reception but no other food available. Rooms small but clean and satisfacory.

This is a wonderful, top end, boutique hotel, worth the price. 1) Wonderfully redone hotel. 2) Rooms are high end. 3) Includes a free message in the evening plus a "happy hour" that is really a nice meal (pasta, soup, salad, wines, dessert and so much more). 4) Well presented breakfast. 5) Nice location if staying in Haifa as it is close to the Carmelite (their mini "subway" that gets you up the mountain. CAUTION - no hotel parking. Lots of on street but the hotel itself does not have parking.

upside: Elegant, comfortable, well maintained, good breakfast, charming breakfast patio, good service at check-in/check-out. Downside: breakfast staff could be more polite and attentive. location is OK, not great. Overall: very recommended!

The reason four 4 stars is mostly location. This hotel is very nice, however in a more business then tourist part of town. Also, while there is a side entrance that does not require stairs it is not well marked. That being said, the room was small but lovely, it was obvious that they care about their guests. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. Unfortunately things were not marked, so you did not always know exactly what you ate. There were many choices, and all seemed f... If you are expecting the atmosphere of a typical Israeli hotel, think again. This is an establishment very much based on the European model. As soon as you enter the historic brick lined building you can appreciate the understated elegance of the environment. Reception staff are very courteous and make you feel at home right away. As there were 3 of us the room was a bit on the small side, and we did not have an amazing view but apart from that we had everything you would expect in a 4 star hote... Read more

This is one of the better hotel choices in Haifa. Our room was very clean but TINY. Very limited space for our two suitcases! The bathroom is also very clean but VERY small. We had a wrap around terrace that offered fantastic views of the city ( I really think the terrace was larger than the room). Parking is on the street next to the hotel and is easy after 4 PM and on Shabbat. Other times it is hit or miss. The welcome plate of fruit brought to our room and bottles of both carbonated an... Im a tour guide in Israel. This hotel is the most unique. The staff are the friendliness I met. It is just a fantastic choice to come here. It is very romantic and comfortable. I love bringing tourists here and see their faces when they walk in for the first time
