If only there were Atlas Boutique Hotels all over Israel! We would certainly have stayed in all of them. We chose to stay at the Arthur and not the Harmony Hotel (both Atlas hotels) in Jerusalem because the Arthur looked older and the Harmony newer but either would have been great choices. We parked our car at Harmony for the 3 days we were in the city, which was a huge bonus having somewhere to park at no charge. Arthur is on a pedestrian mall but only a few mins walk away (although we were tre... Read more

My wife and I stayed here and what a wonderful surprise. The room was great. Very clean and great layout for the size. Where this hotel really separated itself was in its service. Everyone was so friendly and the customer service was some of the best I've experienced anywhere and I've stayed in plenty of 4 and 5 star hotels across the world including the Ritz. One particular example was how the manager still offered my wife and I a free happy hour wine even though it was passed 7 pm. One of the ... Read more

A delightful clean and very accommodating hotel. Wonderful breakfast and late afternoon early evening snacks of all sorts including delicious Israeli wines. Smaller rooms but with room for everything and wonderful shower. So much all around and walking distance to everything. Wonderful Light rail and buses at your doorstep. Kosher restaurant right outside the door and excellent value.

We enjoyed our stay at the Arthur. Our room (209) was very spacious and clean. The decorations in the room were very nice (lots of historic photos of Jerusalem, nice furniture). The free breakfast was top-class--a great way to start our morning. The happy hour was also a welcome freebie that we took advantage of a couple of days. Most importantly, we decided to extend our stay in Jerusalem at the last minute. Despite being a full hotel, the staff went above and beyond by moving a couple of matt... Read more

We had two nights in the Arthur, and absolutely loved it. The location's great, around 15 minutes walk to Jaffa Gate along a largely pedestrianised street (apart from the tram) and right in the centre of the new city's bars and restaurants. We were in room 608, and it was great - away from the busy streets at the back of the hotel as requested, quiet and spacious with a nice balcony. We'd told the hotel it was our honeymoon before arriving, and found a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us in the... Read more

We stayed at the Arthur from 30/5/16 -4/6/16.The hotel is friendly and calm with receptionists like Danielle and Nina who are so welcoming. The rooms are clean , modern and very comfortable and the breakfast is the best I've ever had. The happy hour is a lovely extra with nibbles and buffet with free wine and coffee. The hotel is extremely well located for the Old City and with taxis, banks, restaurants and public transport within a minutes walk it couldn't be better placed. We stayed in room 402... Read more

The room (fam. two connected rooms) were big enough, well equipped; The hotel's staff, ALL of them, were friendly, helpfull. The location, in mid town, walking distance from old and new parts of this magnificant city is great.

We stayed in this small boutique hotel for 3 nights from 12th June. Our room was extremely comfortable and well decorated with a large balcony and a view of Jaffa Street. The hotel location is excellent for exploring the old and new city. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and a special thank you to the manager Ayala who was most charming. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

This hotel is within a 15 minute walk of the Jaffa Gate into the old city. It's in a neighborhood well populated with restaurants that vary from noisy bars to fine dining. The Arthur is a boutique hotel; no dinner, but a very good breakfast. A really nice amenity is a two hour happy hour with a good assortment of snacks, wine, soft frinks , etc. Rooms are quite nice and good size. NOTE: On our last morning, before checking out, my daughter and I, in separate rooms, each had money removed from ou... Read more

The Arthur has very high trip advisor ratings I'm not really sure why. Don't get me wrong this hotel is a perfectly pleasant hotel in a top location it should have a wow factor but it somehow doesn't. The rooms are on the small side certainly if two were sharing. In these days of boutique hotels a Nespresso machine is de riguer but there wasn't one here. The Israeli breakfast has legendary status but the selection here was modest - there are great bakeries in Jerusalem & the best produce you cou... Read more

My friend & I just stayed at Arthur Hotel Jerusalem for 5 days. The first impression to us on this hotel is --- this is the one !! After 4.5 hours' coach journey from Tel Aviv, we arrived at Arthur late in the afternoon, exhausted, but yet we had been greeted by a warm & sincere smile by their receptionist, Pnina (a blonde pretty young lady), who made us feel home !! For the rest of the stay, Pnina had been very helpful giving us guides in choosing tours & restaurants which are all fabulous. ... Read more

This hotel knows how to make you feel special! My wife and I came here for most of our honeymoon, and we were blown away by their hospitality. The service is absolutely phenomenal. Examples: -We were greeted with a "mazel tov" as soon as we checked in, and with a bottle of champagne, chocolate cake and fruit bowl in our room. -The front desk staff made incredible restaurant and nightlife recommendations and went OUT OF THEIR WAY to make sure our stay was extraordinary. They booked tours for u... Read more

Nice small hotel in great location. Nice, clean rooms, amazing stuff, very helpful. Nice breakfast with a cute touch of afternoon snack service with glass of wine in a cute outside garden. Saturday and Sunday night life is right under your window, but it did not bother us even it was a little noisy. Great places for late night entertainment with food, drinks and music throughout the whole night. Close to old city gates and market. Not to fancy but very cozy and great value for your money.

Super hotel in a great location with a wonderful staff - what more can anyone want? We booked here because of the high rating on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. Spent 3 very comfortable nights here with lots of fun and sightseeing just a few minutes walk away. Nice breakfast buffet and happy hour snacks, decent room size, and all very clean and welcoming. We'll stay here again.

We stayed here for 5 nights in June having read the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. It was excellent. Located in a pedestrian street so no traffic. There are a number of bars and restaurants out front but the jazz bar, for example, has to stop at 11.30 - surely most people on holiday are still out enjoying themselves then? Anyway, it is also a nice bar and we enjoyed the jazz. However, if noise does bother you or you are getting up early, then do request a room at the back... Read more

We were so happy with selecting the Arthur for our visit last week. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean. The bathroom had a full shower (first one in Israel we had). The location a few minutes from the Shuk and a fiew minutes from the Jaffa Gate in the middle of Ben Yehuda was as good as it gets. The breakfast provided a nice selection, inc hot entrees and lots of coffee. Last, but not least, the staff were helpful and friendly and went out of their way to provide us a room to use all day ... The hotel is a good 3 star in a central location. The staff is very helpful & the breakfast is good. Our room was a bit worn, small & air-con didn't always work right. The night Shabbat ended the street was packed with parties making it difficult to sleep.

Always love staying with the Atlas Group. This trip we stayed at The Arthur ( have stayed before). We love the style of the Arthur, is has a chicness and the staff welcomed us back with familiarity. Great location - walking distance to the Jaffa Gate, Mechane Yehuda (Shuk) and next to Ben Yehuda Street! Nice, well kept rooms. Real showers. Good Wifi. Friendly and accommodating staff (seriously - in Israel - no attitude and very helpful). Delicious and plentiful breakfast, nice happy hour (wine and snacks). Very pleased with our choice of hotels. Quick and easy luggage transfer by golf cart from sister hotel since hotel is on a street that has no car access (pedestrian mall). Will definit... Read more

The Arthur is located just steps from Ben Yehuda (a busy shopping area) and a 10-15 minute walk from the Old City, and very close to public transportation. The rooms are of various sizes, so be clear on what your needs are. as a boutique hotel it does not offer the amenities of large, modern hotels. Instead, it offers friendly staff who who are focused on excellent service. There is a pleasant breakfast and what is called happy hour (a late afternoon snack), and the dinning room serves as a quie... Read more

This was my first visit to the Arthur Hotel. I arrived quite late from Tel Aviv airport but the hotel is well situated. A friendly and professional service was offered by all the staff. I had a very good room on the 4th floor at the front. Having a balcony is a real plus point. There are lots of shops and places to eat nearby. The Old City is a 20 minute walk. The very good and cheap light rail takes you further and a stop is only a short walk away. The hotel has a very good buffet from 5 to 7pm... Read more

This is a nice, cute, boutique hotel, centrally located off a very lively Ben Yahuda street. Important to know is that the Arthur is located on a pedestrian street, so there is no direct access to the hotel for tour buses or taxis. Getting to an actual street requires some walking or coordination with the golf cart service provided by the hotel. This was a little cumbersome for the older generation in our group. Our family of 17 people included grandparents, as old as 78 years old, and grandc... Read more

I spent a night on last weekend in Arthur hotel in Jerusalem. The hotel room price is cheaper compared to "bigger" hotels in Jerusalem. The room is medium size (about 30m) with nice bathroom and well equipped. We didn't try the breakfast as we didn't woke up in time (end at 10:00am) but got a nice "happy hour" during the afternoon with free snacks and drinks. Parking can be an issue but they offer a near-by hotel parking (about 5 minutes walk away). Overall very good experience.

I am a little reluctant to write this review, because I really wanted to keep this one to myself and avoid the Arthur Hotel becoming too overcrowded. I stayed here in June whilst visiting Israel with a group of my students. The Arthur Hotel is right in the heart of the New Town, set back in a pedestrian area and surrounded by cafes, restaurants, and shops. I could not have found a better position for a stay in this city. The hotel is also only a few hundred metres walk to the Old City (Jaffa Gat... Read more
