If only there were Atlas Boutique Hotels all over Israel! We would certainly have stayed in all of them. We chose to stay at the Arthur and not the Harmony Hotel (both Atlas hotels) in Jerusalem because the Arthur looked older and the Harmony newer but either would have been great choices. We parked our car at Harmony for the 3 days we were in the city, which was a huge bonus having somewhere to park at no charge. Arthur is on a pedestrian mall but only a few mins walk away (although we were tre... Read more

My wife and I stayed here and what a wonderful surprise. The room was great. Very clean and great layout for the size. Where this hotel really separated itself was in its service. Everyone was so friendly and the customer service was some of the best I've experienced anywhere and I've stayed in plenty of 4 and 5 star hotels across the world including the Ritz. One particular example was how the manager still offered my wife and I a free happy hour wine even though it was passed 7 pm. One of the ... Read more

A delightful clean and very accommodating hotel. Wonderful breakfast and late afternoon early evening snacks of all sorts including delicious Israeli wines. Smaller rooms but with room for everything and wonderful shower. So much all around and walking distance to everything. Wonderful Light rail and buses at your doorstep. Kosher restaurant right outside the door and excellent value.

We enjoyed our stay at the Arthur. Our room (209) was very spacious and clean. The decorations in the room were very nice (lots of historic photos of Jerusalem, nice furniture). The free breakfast was top-class--a great way to start our morning. The happy hour was also a welcome freebie that we took advantage of a couple of days. Most importantly, we decided to extend our stay in Jerusalem at the last minute. Despite being a full hotel, the staff went above and beyond by moving a couple of matt... Read more

We had two nights in the Arthur, and absolutely loved it. The location's great, around 15 minutes walk to Jaffa Gate along a largely pedestrianised street (apart from the tram) and right in the centre of the new city's bars and restaurants. We were in room 608, and it was great - away from the busy streets at the back of the hotel as requested, quiet and spacious with a nice balcony. We'd told the hotel it was our honeymoon before arriving, and found a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us in the... Read more

We stayed in this small boutique hotel for 3 nights from 12th June. Our room was extremely comfortable and well decorated with a large balcony and a view of Jaffa Street. The hotel location is excellent for exploring the old and new city. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and a special thank you to the manager Ayala who was most charming. I would highly recommend a stay at this hotel.

This hotel is within a 15 minute walk of the Jaffa Gate into the old city. It's in a neighborhood well populated with restaurants that vary from noisy bars to fine dining. The Arthur is a boutique hotel; no dinner, but a very good breakfast. The Arthur has very high trip advisor ratings I'm not really sure why. Don't get me wrong this hotel is a perfectly pleasant hotel in a top location it should have a wow factor but it somehow doesn't. The rooms are on the small side certainly if two were sharing. In these days of boutique hotels a Nespresso machine is de riguer but there wasn't one here. Nice small hotel in great location. Nice, clean rooms, amazing stuff, very helpful. Nice breakfast with a cute touch of afternoon snack service with glass of wine in a cute outside garden. Saturday and Sunday night life is right under your window, but it did not bother us even it was a little noisy. Great places for late night entertainment with food, drinks and music throughout the whole night. Close to old city gates and market. Not to fancy but very cozy and great value for your money.

We stayed here for 5 nights in June having read the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. It was excellent. Located in a pedestrian street so no traffic. There are a number of bars and restaurants out front but the jazz bar, for example, has to stop at 11.30 - surely most people on holiday are still out enjoying themselves then? Anyway, it is also a nice bar and we enjoyed the jazz. However, if noise does bother you or you are getting up early, then do request a room at the back... Read more

This is a nice, cute, boutique hotel, centrally located off a very lively Ben Yahuda street. Important to know is that the Arthur is located on a pedestrian street, so there is no direct access to the hotel for tour buses or taxis. I spent a night on last weekend in Arthur hotel in Jerusalem. The hotel room price is cheaper compared to "bigger" hotels in Jerusalem. The room is medium size (about 30m) with nice bathroom and well equipped. We didn't try the breakfast as we didn't woke up in time (end at 10:00am) but got a nice "happy hour" during the afternoon with free snacks and drinks. Parking can be an issue but they offer a near-by hotel parking (about 5 minutes walk away). Overall very good experience.

Most important, it is within walking distance from the walled Old City, the main and most important attraction of Jerusalem. This is a brilliantly located hotel - yards from the pedestrian shopping street, a short walk one way to the old souk and easily walkable into the Old City by a choice of routes. The staff on reception were all very helpful, very kind, very accommodating and always there if needed. We found the breakfast room cold in November as the air conditioning was still on, but the happy hour with 10% reduction on drinks and amazing snacks they put out was good to try and there are a few tables in the cour... We visited the hotel for a weekend. Its location, a few meters from the railway, three stops from the old city and two stops from Machne Yehuda market made our trip much easier. The hotel was clean, food was great. We were surprised for the Happy hour with drinks and food. we felt very welcome from the check-in. we cannot but praise the warm service we got. All the staff was friendly and ready to help. If we have to choose one of them, Aliza from the front desk is our favorite. Her smile and he... Read more

We had a big, comfortable room. Like most of hotels in Jerusalem the style is a bit old fashioned. What we don't onderstand is the aloof attitude of the male staff at the reception desk. You feel like being 'tolerante' in their hotel. The Happy Hour is something you have to discover yourself once... The location however is great and on a walkable distance to most historical sites.

I am so happy my friend and I stayed here, great location. Our bedroom was comfortable and clean. Breakfast every morning was delicious and the happy hour every night was a total bonus. The staff were so helpful, friendly and extremely efficient I would certainly recommend the Arthur to anyone staying in the beautiful city of Jerusalem.

Lovely hotel , centrally located in the heart of Jerusalem . 12 minute walk from the Jaffa gate to the old city .. rooms were clean and bathroom spacious and very clean . Breakfast had lots of choices to suit all tastes. Buffet from 5-7 each day was a welcome surprise and just what you needed after a long day sight seeing .. would highly recommend

Great location to see major sites of Jerusalem. The best Israeli breakfast and afternoon happy hour with wine, coffee and snacks. Would stay here again and highly recommend. A little hard to find the first time. Can not drive up to door. Free parking but at sister hotel around corner and very tight spaces

The hotel is conveniently located on a street not accessible to any car traffic which makes it difficult if you have more than just a carry on bag. The hotel is extremely noisy if you have a room facing the pedestrian street and Israelis party hard until the wee hours of the night. The rooms that don't face the pedestrian street are dark and cramped with one small window. The breakfast is just ok - really terrible shakshuka which was a disappointment. The room was full of mosquitoes and oth... Read more

Our room was freezing cold. The door to the balcony was about as thick as a piece of paper, so you could hear construction all day and bars and restaurants all night. The male staff member was very rude. He made us sit out in the cold with our lunch because it contained meat. By the way, the much-heralded afternoon happy hour was more like a bad art opening, filled with tourists sharing one or two bottles of wine. Stay somewhere else.

First time in Arthur hotel. We've celebrated our anniversary. Had great time. Fabulous location, rooms, service and hospitality. Breakfast was fresh and yummy. The cost is fair and justified. Don't hesitate. Highly recommend!!!

It's not easy to find hotels that are both great, unique and reasonably priced. Arthur is one of those hotels. It's located in the heart of Jerusalem, minutes walk to the old city and the Mahne Yehuda market. It's very nicely designed, and has a cosy pleasant vibe. The staff is extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Happy hour (dinner) and breakfast are included in the price of the room and are great. I recommend this hotel warmly and will definitely retu... Read more
