I stayed in this hotel with a friend for 5 days for a short break and to experience the dead sea. The facilities were superb with a good range of meals to chose from each morning and evening. This hotel served as a good base to visit Jerusalem and Masada which are both recommended. The large pool was fantastic and there was both an indoor and outdoor dead sea pool located within the spa.

I loved everything about this hotel. It's perfect for people with psoriasis as it is just a short walk to the beach and has sulphur pools which are free to use once per day. It also has its own Dead Sea pool with a high salt content. I spent a lot of time in the gym and spa which has a sauna, steam room and jacuzzis. I eat a lot (!!!) and found the food to be excellent. There is a huge amount of choice for both breakfast and dinner which varies every day. There are usually around 10+ meat and fi... Read more

Everything about this hotel is first class: our group received a nice welcome from Daniel, with orientation to the hotel and its services. The rooms are very well maintained, and quite clean. Appreciate the good wi-fi connection in the room. This is a first class resort hotel.

Stayed in this hotel with my wife and was impressed with everything. The rooms are large with great bathrooms which have a walk in shower. The balcony was big with great views and we had the sun most of the day. The food in the restaurant was great with something different to eat each day. We both had spa treatments which were fantastic. We will stay here again next year without a doubt.

This is my fourth year in the David Hotel. I come every year for 2-3 weeks to treat my psoriasis by sunbathing and floating in the Dead Sea and the pools. It really helps my psoriasis to clear and gives me about 6 months remission. The david has large single add solariums and a good Spa that offers massage and specialist treatments. The business lounge is a great addition to any package as it makes the holiday all inclusive. For treatment of psoriasis it is excellent. Large rooms and balconies i... Read more

We stayed one night at this hotel while in a tour of Israel. I was hoping for a great experience but found the hotel badly lacking in cleanliness. Our tub and entire bathroom was so dirty, floors weren't clean, dining room was not maintained. This hotel used to be a Hilton but has gone downhill. We also had to walk down a long path to a deserted beach by the Dead Sea. Don't go here unless you have low expectations and a tolerance for uncleanliness.

We spent just one night here in two adjoining rooms. The front desk staff is overwhelmed with angry and demanding customers, and they leave one poor soul to deal with increasingly vexed customers waiting, while other employees amble about with not a shred of a though towards customer service. The concierge can't help you - with anything. The shuttle driver seems pretty pissed off that you'd think of taking the shuttle the block to the beach rather than walk it yourself. We were at the end of the week on half board, offers numerous facilities, sports, 3 pools, ample parking and a huge spa! Comfortable rooms are really, really big (we were on the 16th floor), and each room also shower and bath (tub). In addition, the service we received was beyond expectations. Every small request, treated several minutes. All the Dead Sea hotels, this hotel offers the greatest value in my opinion. We will for sure come back again.

My wife and I stayed here for three nights as a part of a tour group. Our first impression is, what a great place! But, there was an underlying tiredness and worn feeling to the place. Our room carpet was dirty, the room was made up but not cleaned, anything repaired or repainted was done very sloppily at a standard below what should be a five star resort. The crew is terrible. The girl in the desk was playing her whatsapp while talking with me and it to 30 min to send the manager so i can show him the problems. If it was a 30 us$ hotel i could give it 3 stsrs. But when you pay 250 us$ you want the minimum. Not good. Sorry.

Lovely hotel and had a great time except when we came back to the room, we found some of our items stolen including a watch, ipod, earphones and more. When we went to speak to reception, they were extremely unhelpful and didn't do very much. We also found out that another family had stuff stolen too. For someone coming on holiday, paying a lot of money to stay in a luxury hotel and having stuff stolen, you'd expect some more assistance and care from the hotel staff.
