Not much to say about a business hotel room - basic and standard. Family Room for 4 was in a good size but with no view. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant and food was better than expected in a hotel restaurant.

I had been looking forward to staying here, it's is in a convenient location with easy access to the motorway, enjoyed the vegetarian options, but small things like the very small television and a generic remote that could not adjust the brightness or colour let it down.

Stayed here for 2 nights recently. Can't fault the room, it was very clean and spacious and had everything needed. The bathroom was well stocked with towels, shampoo etc. The bed was comfortable. The bus into town is 3 minutes from hotel. My only complaint is the breakfast- it was only ok. There was a good selection of fruits/cereals but the Irish breakfast items were not the best - something I always look forward to when staying in a hotel. Had I paid separately for this (it was included in my... Read more

So happy with my pot of hot water. My pet hate when eating out is getting a pot of hot water and the water pouring out all brown and the pot is tea and coffee stained. I have stayed here a few times in the last 6 months and have always had a spotlessly clean pot and hot water. Breakfasts have always been cooked well and no shortage of food. The staff are very friendly and helpful also. My one gripe is that some rooms have old large TV's so I couldn't connect any of my smart devices to them.

One night mid week stay. Group of 8 and we arrived to the hotel bar after 9 and needed food. Manager called the chef back to hotel (finished at 9) and organised food for us, very helpful. Issue with the charge on my cc bill which we raised after departure and they sorted out within minutes on one phone call. Very good stay.

As usual, staff and staff imagery and body language are the difference between a positive and maybe less than positive recall of any visit to any hostelry. For the little areas of disappointment the dealings and responses of staff more than make up for the minute drawbacks. I thought the quality of the breakfast was below average however the cleanliness and service and friendliness and patience and willingness to help by the staff is exemplary. On the second morning they were extremely busy but t... Read more

hotel staff were very friendly. receptionist welcomed us with a warm smile and was very informative and efficient. we ate in the bar. after twenty minutes I had to go to the bar for my order to be taken - to be fair the bar was quiet at the time! when ordering at the bar counter my arm stuck to it. it was filthy as was the case behind the bar. nothing a good cloth and hot sudsy water would not sort! food was only ok. chicken was very tough in the chicken jalfrezzi I ate. which was disappointing... Working at Analog which is a stones throw away from this great Hotel. Although a little tired the rooms are very good, nice and clean too. Everyone of the staff are very friendly. The service is 2nd to none. Absolute great service. I cannot heap too much praise o the staff but they deserve it. Will be back again another two times in the near future.

Stayed for the June Weekend, arriving Friday evening and checking out on the Monday. Room was spotless and airy. Although the window faced out onto a main road we could hear no traffic at all. We were on the third floor and it was very quiet :-) Breakfast - excellent buffet I found the prices in the bar and restaurant to be a bit pricey so we had dinner elsewhere each night. The bar is nice, although a little more choice in beer would have been nice, but don't let that put you off. Having sai... Read more

Very poor experience. It was pretty warm the night we stayed. We opened our window (which barely opened) and put the fan on that was in the room. The next morning when we went to check out & was asked how it was we complained about how hot it was. The girl at the front desk asked if we had called down for the air to be turned on? Are you serious! First of all we were not told this when we checked in & secondly why wouldn't the air just automatically be turned on & available for use if it w... Read more

I wish I could move the hotel closer to the historic sites. It was a little too far away from everything. Other than that, the rooms were clean, breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. Plenty of parking. A grocery within walking distance, if you needed anything. We took the stairs most of the time because the lift was slow and a little stinky.

Stayed for one night for a business trip and I was very impressed. It's a stunning hotel and despite the work going on in reception it wasn't an issue The staff were all very friendly and courteous. I had room service (evening meal and breakfast) and both were very good I'll definitely stay again next time I'm over

Had a very relaxing night at this hotel, great food and service. Room very spacious and very comfortable. Staff were most friendly and very helpful with information. One thing the hotel is missing is a leisure centre. Will certainly be back.

Lovely big room with plenty of space. Any little problem we might have had the Manager was quick to sort out. For a buffet breakfast it was one of the better ones. Friendly helpful staff which always makes for a pleasant stay.

Great location for my business needs on the southern edge of Limerick. Bedroom comfy with a basic no frills bathroom but ticks all the boxes for the price paid. Had dinner in the bar which was very good and good value for money, there is also an Indian restaurant on site. Buffet style breakfast also included in the price but some options incurred an extra charge, however the service was a little slow. Free parking and a good free WiFi signal. The hotel is in a residential/industrial area so not ... Read more

This hotel is quite good for sightseeing in Clare based on the location. Rooms are good with friendly staff and a really good breakfast. I would stay again and recommend this hotel. Thank you for a great stay. There is a nice enough bar for a nightcap a daily coffee shop and an Indian place also that is good. I have reviewed this place before. We weren't in the hotel enough to use many facilities as our main purpose was sightseeing.

Stayed here for one night and the room is fine with everything you would expect of a modern hotel. However we were very disappointed with the breakfast on offer. No freshly cooked eggs the ones left in the hot plates were like rubber but worse was the coffee on offer. There were two flasks where you had to serve yourself for tea and coffee and the coffee in particular was dreadful. I asked the waitress about getting a decent cup of americano and she said that they don;t do one and you would have... Read more

We stayed here 5 days for a wedding. The room and bath were clean. The bed was comfortable, with a nice firm mattress. Our room faced the street, so there was a bit of traffic noise. There is an Indian restaurant plus a Starbucks coffee shop on site, and a well-equipped fitness room. Friendly staff. Quite satisfactory

My Wife and I stayed at the Great National South Court Hotel for 2 nights including Breakfast. The hotel was very clean and the staff couldn't do enough for you. Check in was quick and easy. Our room was very spacious. We also had our evening meals in the bar and on both occasions the food was perfect, and very reasonably priced. The draft beer was full of life and we didn't get one bad drink. Family and friends met us for drinks and they also agreed that the draft was lovely. The hotel also has... Read more

Check in was fast and fine. We found our room or as I liked to call it, The Bat Cave. There were 2 beds, a single and a dbl, and the space that was left over could have fitted another 2 double beds was instead occupied by a lone coffee table with 1 chair. The TV was the smallest i have seen in over 10 years and the room had the warmth and comfort of a water well. It was for just 1 night however and we got on with it. Love staying here, the staff are very welcoming and friendly. the rooms are always immaculate and the food is beautiful. well worth the 5 hour drive just for the lamb biriyani and strawberry pavlova in the Cream Room and the star bucks coffee before the drive home. I have stayed here for business and with my children on a break on quite a few occasions and never have had a bad experience.

Recently spent a night here. Good location for the Crescent and the cinema. Lovely staff. Check in & out very quick. Rooms only ok, quite basic and dull, abit of colour wouldn't have gone amiss. The rooms seem more suited to business travellers. Lovely big bar with lots of nooks & crannies but was disappointed there was no music despite being a Saturday night although the barman did say there usually is "just not tonight." Nice big airy rooms, courteous staff and great food. Lunchtime carvery ends up with huge helpings and great value for money. Stayed for a business meeting and end of meeting meal (chicken tikka massala) was the best I have ever tasted. There is an Indian restaurant in the hotel in addition to the main eatery which I would love to try. Breakfast good and eatery pleasant. Enjoyed this short stay.
