Our room was spacious, very clean and quite bright. The twin beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean but with no frills, no hairdryer. Our room looked out on to a very busy street but was still quiet at night. There are no facilities in the hotel - no restaurant, bar, lounge etc. Secure parking is available for a charge. Reception staff were efficient and pleasant.

We stayed here for 2 nights over the bank holiday. On arrival we were offered free early check in though we were told the room was smaller. We took this after being tired from travelling. The room was a little on the small side and very warm so needed to have windows open. There is a church clock just down the road which chimed every 15 mins though it did seem to stop in the night. The hotel is a good walk to the centre and we used the bus a few times to get to town and back, the bus stop is dir... Read more

This hotel is not really in the city centre. It is fifteen or twenty minutes away from the river Leffe on the south side. Fortunately Rathmines it self is a lively area and has the best burger restaurant in Dublin right opposite the hotel. The rooms are large and comfortable and the staff are friedly and helpfull. The hotel was nicely quiet.

Very basic hotel above an Aldi superstore. It was very quiet but it could do with updating. It did serve it's purpose as I was only in there literally 5 hrs before I went home. Rathmines is a good place for a few beers before going to Temple bar.

A nice place, rooms very comfy, clean and cosy, staff very helpful and friendly. Stayed for one night for business. Only problem, too much noise in the middle of the night from works or traffic. A little bit pricey but cheaper compared with the high Dublin prices.

It is a great option to stay in Dublin, well located, nice enough rooms, and great conections to the city center via public transport .. even a taxi from the city center was not that expensive. The room is quite simple, but has what you need to get a good night rest .. if you are in transit or enjoying the weekend there !!

We booked this hotel on last minute as a package deal with flights. We've never been to Dublin before and this hotel said it was central so we decided to go for it. It's not quite as central as we would have hoped as it's about a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of Dublin and to the stop for our hop-on hop-off bus tour which we'd booked. The hotel is clean and quiet and they were very helpful and accommodating when we arrived early. We weren't expecting to check in early (just drop our bags o... Read more

Stayed here with my partner on 22nd June for 1 night after travelling through Ireland. reception staff were very helpful and allocated us parking at short notice (parking is very limited however so would book ahead) and early check in for 10 euro. our room was basic but had everything we needed. a little noisy with the windows open at night but to be expected as near to city centre.

We stayed in a double room for 2 nights. We were welcomed by very friendly staff who asked what floor we'd prefer to be on, if we wanted a bath in the room etc. which we appreciated. It's a travelodge so don't expect full luxury but the room was spacious, clean and tidy. There was also a tv in the room. Dublin City Centre Rathmines is located on a very busy street, parking is difficult (if not booked) (street parking free between 17:00 - 08:00) The room at the front of the hotel was small but comfortable (noisy with the window open). One member of staff on reception. (better with two in my opinion), he was very helpfull. Plenty of easy to reach food/drink outlets/shops

This hotel is very basic. The bare minimum is provided in the rooms and the decor is simple to say the least. The location is good if you don't mind walking 15 minutes in to the city. It was definitely a bit of a haul in the the city with our bags to get the bus back to the airport...so keep that in mind if you don't want to pay for a taxi (or if it's raining) The staff were helpful and gave us suggestions for breakfast etc.

I booked through booking.com and the hotel advertised free parking which I selected. When we arrived I was told that there were only 10 spots and I had to personally call the hotel a few days before my stay to arrange. Also, the room was unbearably hot with no air conditioning and the window only opened a few inches. We spoke to the front desk who did us a fan, but the fan was so small it did not help much. I would not recommend staying here.

Couldn't fault this place at the price it was. Room was fine, 2 beds if required. Helpful staff. The receptionist had a spare phone charger which was needed. A few good pubs close by, Slattreys and Rody Bolands. Bus stop across the street and a taxi rank down a bit. Would stay there again.

Check in staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel from outside looks awful. Reception is tiny. Lift also tiny. Bedrooms small but comfortable beds. Shower didn't drain properly and shower curtain sticks to you because the shower is very small. Didn't have breakfast at the nearby cafe so can't comment on that. It's not a city centre hotel. Good 20-30min fast paced walk to St Stephens Square.

Nice little hotel a short bus journey from the city centre. There are excellent bus links into the city centre and the bus stop is directly outside of the hotel. First things first. I think the Dublin city centre part of the description is false advertising. The travelodge is in Rathmines which is a suburb south of the city. We are young, fit and fast walkers. We decided to walk and it took over 30 minutes to get to the centre of Dublin (Temple bar area which is also south of the city). There are plenty of buses which run into the centre and they take about 10 minutes. Although not in the city centre, there are plenty of eateries, supermarkets, pubs an... Read more

It was the cheaper hotels we could find in Dublin at around ¬£100 a night. It's about 15-20 minute walk into dublin centre. Taxis were around ‚?¨8-10. The room was standard travelodge.
