The location is great , middle of Dublin city , the room was comfort , clean bed sheets. There were complimentary water, Large LCD screen which is in front of the bed. 50% discount of day parking. Wifi signal is strong without lost. The breakfast is too high (17 euro per person , while you can have outside of the hotel for 11 euro great breakfast). The bathroom facilities should be renovated , very weak water stream (cold / hot) the bath is clean but looks very old

Was here for a night At Il Divo Concert Review about Temple Bar Hotel. Check in experience exceptionally good customer care. Same as check out. Have to compliment Front of House Management. Asked for quiet room nothing was a problem . Bedrooms spotlessly clean. Bed so comfortable. Breakfast beautiful and relaxed. Love strong tea. Staff at Breakfast staff so so friendly. and My next trip to Dublin is definitely been booked in this hotel.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night while visiting Dublin. Staff very friendly. Location is centre and in walking distance of great pubs and restaurants. Night time security were friendly and stay with us when we were outside smoking late at night. Our room was upgraded to a king bed when we arrived, made our stay start off on a great note. Exceplent wifi and tv in rooms. Highly reccomend staying here.

If you want any sleep at all then don't come here!!!! The laundry van starts at 6am n the staff are so noisey! The fire alarm went off both mornings....... No mirror in room....... However the 2 stars are for the reception staff they are lovely and helpful and have great personalities. Rooms are ok, clean n equipped well but the noise just ruins it, not even the hussel n bustle of Dublin was heard, just the staff.... However Dublin is great

We have just returned from an overnight stay here. We had booked an afternoon Tea and overnight special. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. When we arrived for our afternoon Tea,there seemed to be a delay and uncertainty about our booking. After a short delay we were served a most delicious tea, only downfall was it was served in the corner of the bar with loud music, which when asked if it could be turned down was done so immediately. Just returned from a couple of days at this hotel. Hotel rooms have recently been renovated and some parts are still being renovated but this was no problem. Hotel is in a great location, lots of bars around it, Hard Rock Cafe and TGI Fridays a few doors away. Our room was on the first floor and at the rear of the building , there were complimentary earplugs in the room however noise was not an issue. The Temple Bar hotel is on Fleet Street in Dublin. It has recently been modernized and is a very good hotel, the rooms are modern and well appointed. Our room was not on the main road, and therefore was very quiet. I assume that the rooms on Fleet Street could suffer from the noise from the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar visitors. Breakfast is good and the location superb for access to the lively temple bar area. Plenty of local bars, restaurants are readily available. We would definitely visit... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner - room only. The hotel has a fab location right in temple bar! It's very clean and all the staff are really helpful. The downside to the hotel was our room. We were in room 212 which wasn't anything like we expected from the pictures of a standard room! The room was tiny, with a bunk bed on top of our double bed. Made it incredibly awkward to get in and out of our bed. It was very basic and not much to it. Out our window was a back alley which wouldn't ha... Read more

One of the few places in Ireland we found that had air conditioning! Our room on 2nd floor had an AC unit. The room was very comfortable and modern. This feels very much like a US hotel. It is in the bar and restaurant district and has a Bourbon Street feel outside. Can be a bit noisy due to all the music and revelers outside but with the in room AC we could keep windows closed. Can't recommend this place enough for anyone that wants to stay in the middle of all the excitement in Dublin.

This hotel just finished renovations when we arrived, but the designs leave much to be desired. The shower area is not properly shielded so that water gets everywhere. I just don't understand that design. The location is most excellent in the Temple Bar area. The service was excellent as well. However, I feel that the poor design of the bathroom really makes the whole experience much less enjoyable.

We booked this hotel for the location. Upon arrival the room was dirty and when I sat on the bed I nearly sank to the floor. When we complained to the desk they just kept saying "We are getting ready to renovate." My response was "That is great but I am here tonight." They should never have let this hotel get so bad before renovating but it doesn't have to be new to be clean. The place was filthy.

Stayed here for a few nights and the staff was excellent and very helpful. The rooms were clean and updated. The hotel itself is great with a nice restaurant but the area is not for families with young children. Temple Bar area is an active part of town but in the evening it can get a little rowdy. If you do decide to stay in the Temple Bar area, I recommend this hotel.

Though I'm tempted to write this in all caps, because my room overlooking the street was LOUD until three a.m. every night, I'll spare the readers. To be fair, they managed me an early check-in, and warned me in advance. Otherwise it's a fine place. Good location and first-rate front desk staff who were unfailingly polite and helpful. My partner and I stayed at the Temple Bar Hotel for 3 nights. Good points : excellent position; restaurant and bar onsite; large room Things to consider : noise from street (hotel does give you earplugs to help); pricey for age of hotel (undergoing refurbishment so this likely to improve) Things I didn't know : loads of people begging on the street and will come up to you if you 'look like a tourist'.

This hotel was lovely until trying to go to sleep on Friday night. It sits on not only a street side bar, but also a nightclub open until 3 AM. You are provided with ear plugs but they do nothing to keep your whole room and bed from VIBRATING with the beat of techno and pop music downstairs. If you plan to go to bed anywhere before 3AM, avoid.

From a business point of view this hotel was fine. Internet worked well, room large and good desk space. It's a noisy area so could hear that from the top floor during the evening but you would get that with any hotel in this area. Breakfast seemed fine but didn't have time to try it. Staff helpful. Busy check in experience

I enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious enough, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice. The building seemed clean. The location was great because everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. My only complaint was the loud bar next door, but this didn't bother me at all with the complimentary ear plugs provided to us.

We stayed for three nights in July 2016. In our opinion this hotel is over priced. Our room was a very small double. The bed was 'boxed in' on three sides. Good fun clambering into bed but not really what you expect for £150 per night room only. Hot tap in bathroom hand basin did not operate - this was reported to reception on day one of our stay and still had not been repaired when we checked out three days later! On a positive note the hotel is centrally located for all of the tourist spo... Read more

It's central. Right on temple bar street where there are many restaurants, bars, stores, etc. They have breakfast buffet every morning. Busker bar next door had nightly Irish dancing. We walked to all tourists stops from hotel like Guinness, Dublin castle, Trinity college, st. Patrick cathedral & museums. They even booked us our Cliffs of Moher tour. On weekends it gets noisy but hotel provides ear plugs. Very pleased with hotel, would return.

A friend and I stayed in this hotel when visiting Dublin for a long weekend. The location was fantastic; very close by to the River Liffey, a tourist information centre and a range of pubs and restaurants. The hotel is also directly opposite a Tesco which is very handy for breakfast as the hotel breakfast is a little expensive. Although in a prime area, we didn't find noise to be a problem and the hotel supplied complementary earplugs as a precaution. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable w... Read more

My sister and I stayed here while visiting Dublin. The room was very big. The bathroom alone was the same size as our hotel room in London. The people at the front desk were so helpful- they helped us with flight reservations and arranged our cab. The pub next door has great food and their Celtic dancing and music show was great. It's in a perfect location and close to all the nightlife. I highly recommend.

My wife and another couple stayed here for two nights. The hotel generally is excellent in a superb location ideal for everything in Temple Bar and beyond. Buskers bar attached to the hotel was also excellent and although again quite expensive the buffet breakfast was very good. The hotel was more expensive then I think it was actually worth hence the 4 stars rather than 5. The current exchange rate doesn't help either. Would I return here again, yes without a doubt but would be dependant on ... Read more

We have just stayed at the Temple Bar Hotel for 2 nights to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. The hotel staff went out of their way to make our stay special. They sent a card and chocolates to our room. We booked a table at their Irish night and they saved us the best table, had written us a message, gave us complimentary prosecco and got the band to congratulate us. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The room was lovely and the breakfast was excellent. Would recommend very highl... Read more

My husband and I stayed at the Temple bar hotel for only two days but enjoyed our stay there very much. The customer service was excellent excluding the staff that worked the buffet in the morning. I will leave it at that. Tanja at the front desk was great! She answered all our questions about how to get around and where the best places or must sees are. We would definitely consider going back the next time we are in Dublin.

I'll start this review by saying the customer service we received from Brid on reception was exceptional and she deserves five stars. But on arrival we did not get the room we booked. We got what I would call a standard double not an executive king size. A quick trip to reception and we were promised a room change next day and two complimentary breakfasts to soften the blow. So next day we packed up for the promised move came back mid afternoon to find that the sales manager wanted to use our ne... Read more

Walking distance to many attractions and pubs. Room was clean but three of us were staying in 'the snug' room and it definitely earned its name! Since we are used to living in rural area with no traffic, the street noise at night was noticeable (especially since it was warm out and windows were open). Good stay.
