The location is great , middle of Dublin city , the room was comfort , clean bed sheets. There were complimentary water, Large LCD screen which is in front of the bed. 50% discount of day parking. Wifi signal is strong without lost. The breakfast is too high (17 euro per person , while you can have outside of the hotel for 11 euro great breakfast). The bathroom facilities should be renovated , very weak water stream (cold / hot) the bath is clean but looks very old

Asked for quiet room nothing was a problem . Bedrooms spotlessly clean. Bed so comfortable. Breakfast beautiful and relaxed. Love strong tea. Staff at Breakfast staff so so friendly. and My next trip to Dublin is definitely been booked in this hotel.

My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night while visiting Dublin. Staff very friendly. Location is centre and in walking distance of great pubs and restaurants. Night time security were friendly and stay with us when we were outside smoking late at night. Our room was upgraded to a king bed when we arrived, made our stay start off on a great note. Exceplent wifi and tv in rooms. Highly reccomend staying here.

If you want any sleep at all then don't come here!!!! The laundry van starts at 6am n the staff are so noisey! The fire alarm went off both mornings....... No mirror in room....... However the 2 stars are for the reception staff they are lovely and helpful and have great personalities. Rooms are ok, clean n equipped well but the noise just ruins it, not even the hussel n bustle of Dublin was heard, just the staff.... However Dublin is great

We have just returned from an overnight stay here. We had booked an afternoon Tea and overnight special. On arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful receptionist. When we arrived for our afternoon Tea,there seemed to be a delay and uncertainty about our booking. After a short delay we were served a most delicious tea, only downfall was it was served in the corner of the bar with loud music, which when asked if it could be turned down was done so immediately. Just returned from a couple of days at this hotel. Hotel rooms have recently been renovated and some parts are still being renovated but this was no problem. Hotel is in a great location, lots of bars around it, Hard Rock Cafe and TGI Fridays a few doors away. The Temple Bar hotel is on Fleet Street in Dublin. It has recently been modernized and is a very good hotel, the rooms are modern and well appointed. Our room was not on the main road, and therefore was very quiet. I assume that the rooms on Fleet Street could suffer from the noise from the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar visitors. Breakfast is good and the location superb for access to the lively temple bar area. Plenty of local bars, restaurants are readily available. We would definitely visit... Read more

Stayed here for 2 nights with my partner - room only. The hotel has a fab location right in temple bar! It's very clean and all the staff are really helpful. The downside to the hotel was our room. We were in room 212 which wasn't anything like we expected from the pictures of a standard room! The room was tiny, with a bunk bed on top of our double bed. Made it incredibly awkward to get in and out of our bed. It was very basic and not much to it. Out our window was a back alley which wouldn't ha... Read more

One of the few places in Ireland we found that had air conditioning! Our room on 2nd floor had an AC unit. The room was very comfortable and modern. This feels very much like a US hotel. It is in the bar and restaurant district and has a Bourbon Street feel outside. Can be a bit noisy due to all the music and revelers outside but with the in room AC we could keep windows closed. Can't recommend this place enough for anyone that wants to stay in the middle of all the excitement in Dublin.

This hotel just finished renovations when we arrived, but the designs leave much to be desired. The shower area is not properly shielded so that water gets everywhere. I just don't understand that design. The location is most excellent in the Temple Bar area. The service was excellent as well. However, I feel that the poor design of the bathroom really makes the whole experience much less enjoyable.

We booked this hotel for the location. Upon arrival the room was dirty and when I sat on the bed I nearly sank to the floor. When we complained to the desk they just kept saying "We are getting ready to renovate." My response was "That is great but I am here tonight." They should never have let this hotel get so bad before renovating but it doesn't have to be new to be clean. The place was filthy.

Stayed here for a few nights and the staff was excellent and very helpful. The rooms were clean and updated. The hotel itself is great with a nice restaurant but the area is not for families with young children. Temple Bar area is an active part of town but in the evening it can get a little rowdy. If you do decide to stay in the Temple Bar area, I recommend this hotel.

Though I'm tempted to write this in all caps, because my room overlooking the street was LOUD until three a.m. every night, I'll spare the readers. To be fair, they managed me an early check-in, and warned me in advance. Otherwise it's a fine place. Good location and first-rate front desk staff who were unfailingly polite and helpful. My partner and I stayed at the Temple Bar Hotel for 3 nights. Good points : excellent position; restaurant and bar onsite; large room Things to consider : noise from street (hotel does give you earplugs to help); pricey for age of hotel (undergoing refurbishment so this likely to improve) Things I didn't know : loads of people begging on the street and will come up to you if you 'look like a tourist'.

This hotel was lovely until trying to go to sleep on Friday night. It sits on not only a street side bar, but also a nightclub open until 3 AM. You are provided with ear plugs but they do nothing to keep your whole room and bed from VIBRATING with the beat of techno and pop music downstairs. If you plan to go to bed anywhere before 3AM, avoid.

8 of us visited here during a 3 day birthday break and had a great afternoon. the music was fab and in fact the only drawbacks were that due to its popularity the place is rammed and so trying to fit 8 in was difficult and the other issue was the price of the drinks. admittedly the music was included but we thought that 8 beers/ciders for 60 euros was a little steep

From a business point of view this hotel was fine. Internet worked well, room large and good desk space. It's a noisy area so could hear that from the top floor during the evening but you would get that with any hotel in this area. Breakfast seemed fine but didn't have time to try it. Staff helpful. I enjoyed our stay here. The room was spacious enough, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice. The building seemed clean. The location was great because everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. My only complaint was the loud bar next door, but this didn't bother me at all with the complimentary ear plugs provided to us.

We stayed for three nights in July 2016. In our opinion this hotel is over priced. Our room was a very small double. The bed was 'boxed in' on three sides. Good fun clambering into bed but not really what you expect for £150 per night room only. Hot tap in bathroom hand basin did not operate - this was reported to reception on day one of our stay and still had not been repaired when we checked out three days later! On a positive note the hotel is centrally located for all of the tourist spo... Read more

It's central. Right on temple bar street where there are many restaurants, bars, stores, etc. They have breakfast buffet every morning. Busker bar next door had nightly Irish dancing. Loved the location and the staff was very helpful. I expected the hotel to be a bit noisy at night because of its location, but it really wasn't a problem. But there was no way to get the hotel room dark. There was a tiny bright green light on the ceiling that I think was the smoke detector and a large (at least 10" x 6") lit up exit sign over the door. There was no way to turn either of these off. There was a note on the side table that said the front desk had sleep masks available.

Just got home to Manchester one hour ago and would like to let anyone thinking about using this hotel. This is a great hotel spotlessly clean and very convenient to all public transport stops. The hotel staff are a credit to the hotel everyone from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff to the management treat you with nothing but respect. Myself and my two daughters enjoyed our stay and shall be using this hotel in the near future. We also found there to be no noise in the rooms at nigh... Read more

I had a great stay here for three nights. When I checked in I was given a free upgrade to a larger room with a king bed. All employees of the hotel are great and very attentive. They are willing to help. Location of the hotel is right in the Temple Bar. They had ear plugs next to the bed but I never used them or felt I had to use them. The room was clean and very good size. Bathroom was a nice size as well, not like your typical European hotel bathroom. It was very close to the bus stop t... Read more

We were a little nervous when we heard about the free ear plugs but they were not needed. Loved the free ice cream upon arrival, free wifi was excellent and the breakfast top notch. The place was immaculately clean. They stored our bags on our last day as we were going on an early morning tour and upon returning after 10pm allowed us to hang out in their lobby, even offered free coffee, as we recharged our phones and waiting to go to the airport at 2AM. The staff were very friendly and accom... Read more

Stayed there on a one night trip to Dublin. The staff were excellent and couldn't have done more to help you. Breakfast was divine and had plenty of choice. The rooms were spacious, comfy and clean. The hotel is in a great position and close to many tourist activities. Mi would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I did like the hotel - the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, the room was comfortable, it is centrally located, the pubs were historic and fun, the shopping was great BUT then came Saturday night. The music from the attached nightclub Buskers kept us up to 2:30am. They give you earplugs but the DJ's subwoofer actually vibrated the room. I called to the desk and they told us they would relocate us the next day but that doesn't help. The next day we were tired and cancelled some of the t... Read more

We enjoyed the corner room looking out over "Buskers", the associated restaurant. You could watch all the action on the streets and the room was nice as well. Front Desk people were very helpful. Room was clean and looked like it had been remodeled recently.

This is the perfect location for a city break to Dublin! Located in the heart of the Temple Bar area you are in short walking distance of Grafton Street, O'Connell Street, Trinity College and Stephens Green. You are also in short walking distance of the hop on/hop off bus stop which takes you to the Guinness Factory and other spots like the zoo. Bars with traditional Irish music are located on the same street as this hotel and we also found that it wasn't to noisy after hours. It was also very s... Read more

The service and quality of the hotel was excellent. Right in the heart of Temple Bar. Don't recommend room 116 as it looks directly into the building aircon system which can also be heard in the room, otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Arrived for my birthday treat, checked in early, due to staff being so helpful. Staff couldn't be any more helpful. Lovely rooms and worth the money. Breakfast is lush and served until 10am (for the late starter) Really friendly area, will defiantly be booking to return. Busketeers bar next door was good too for Irish dancing show and live bands. Had a really enjoyable time. Thank you.

Excellent accommodations right in the center of the Temple Bar district. Walking distance from all the greatest landmarks around Temple Bar and Trinity College, and anything else is just a quick bus ride away. The side street can be a little loud at night, but guests can request a quiet room farther from the street and the hotel also provides earplugs. Already planning to stay here again when we return to Dublin!

We thoroughly enjoyed the Temple Bar Hotel and Buskers Bar (attached). It was centrally located and the staff were amazing (knowledgeable, professional, friendly). It has the potential to be loud (first hotel where I've been given ear plugs in the room), but you're likely not staying in the Temple Bar area for quiet relaxation! Would highly recommend this hotel.

Reception area was lovely and hallways nice and bright etc, location was perfect!we were a bit worried when we saw ear plugs had been supplied in room but we didn't need to use them at all and didn't hear a thing ! The bed clothes were bizarre though-we got what appeared to be a single duvet in a double duvet cover ?! When I queried with staff if the wrong cover had been put on the double bed we were told "that's the way they're supposed to be"-so basically one person will have a cover for the ni... Read more

Myself and some friends stayed here in October for our annual Dublin visit and we were extremely happy with this hotel. Last year we stayed at The Cassidys and we were left disappointed. The hotel is in a great location, the rooms were to a high standard, the staff were amazing, the bar downstairs was excellent and the extra touches didn't go unnoticed e.g. Ice cream on arrival :). We ate in the downstairs bar and the food was excellent with live music playing (which is what we love Dublin for) ... Read more

As part of a hen party, we visited the Temple Bar Hotel and took part in some cocktail making. The two guys looking after us were Graham and Jamie and they were lovely. Dealing with 17 feisty hens wasn't easy but they did such a professional job and kept the whole thing fun.

I stayed here on the 3rd Nov for a long girly weekend with my mum & sister. As our flight was early we arrived at the hotel at 10am, thinking that our room wouldn't be available we just wanted to leave our luggage at reception, to go about our day. As soon as we got to reception we was greeted by a friendly member of staff, he searched for our details and actually confirm a room was ready, we were so please & happy and this let us freshen up. Terrific for a night or two. Remember that Dublin is a vibrant city so wherever you stay, with the possible exception of the Waldorf Astoria, will be disruptive. This is a nice place with hospitable and approachable staff so you will be accommodated.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in early November and I must say it is in an excellent location. Your not a far walk from most of the great sights in Dublin. The hotel was clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is small, like most in Europe, but it worked well. The only issue I we had (and this is more a personal preference) is that the shower is narrow do to the placement of a handle bar. Great rooms, too, and a terrific value. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Located in the heart of Temple Bar within steps from a multitude of bars, pubs and restaurants. "The Boyos from... Great hotel in a great location. I had a 2nd floor room and it's disappointingly noisy I guess from the bar. There are ear plugs in the room but I feel it's poor compensation.
