Simple fact is you get what you pay for and to be honest we got a decent/tidy room which was all the requirements we needed for an overnight stay. Do not pay to stay here and expect white washed walls, maid service or 24hr on call reception cause it ain't gonna happen! What you do get is very friendly staff who are extremely welcoming, The Mezz bar which is basically adjoined to the hotel and a clean and tidy room. Due to the location expect noise at night, but to be fair I didn't find it to b... Read more

Booked this hotel for one night visit to dublin. We were not expecting much due to the price that we paid however this place was awful. The man on reception was rude and not very helpful .. on our reservation it stated that although there would be noise due to the location of the hotel (which we knew when we booked it) you could request one of the quieter rooms if available and when we asked the man on the reception he said to us " if you want quiet you have come to the wrong hotel!" . He was ve... Read more

We has two different rooms because we stayed an extra night. Both were fine, basic and clean. The hotel is in a great location for the Temple Bar area. I t has some cracks and damage to the internal decor which was a bit surprising given the cost of the first room. The staff were extremely accommodating though when we needed to stay on and reduced one room cost to help without us asking for it! Great! Breakfast was a bit like it had been waiting a while.

Needs to refurbished, rooms are cold, been told they were on timers but never came on, good connections to Meze bar and club, room on the first floor are only for people who don't sleep before 3am as the music and revellers down stairs become a rowdy lot.

This place is a complete dump. Dirty, unaccommodating and a broken lift as well as the rooms are antiquated, filthy and no extra blankets are available. The location is fine, centrally located; however, everything else here, from the postage stamp bedroom to the disgusting bathrooms to the freezing rooms to the unaccommodating staff -- find a more hospitable enclave.

Very good and central location, staff very friendly. Not a "luxury" hotel, not refurbished in recent years and that of course can bee seen. Allthough the room was clean and breakfast for just over 6eur was "good" - plain and simple but worth the money. Noise from night club down stears might disturb you but didn't bother me. This is something you have to take seriously. Stayd for 4 nights (300eur incl. Breakfast) and I think that was ok for that price and location.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, staff treated us like pigs and the whole places is rotten with dirt. Walking up the stairs and it sounded like it was about to fall apart. Considered leaving and finding accommodation elsewhere as it was that awful. When the people next door to us went in to there room it sounded as though they were in our room, also flushing the toilet in the rooms would wake anyone. All the furniture looked like it was made in a shed out the back 30 years ago and not painted si... Read more

We stayed in the 2 bedroom apartment. It was clean and decorated nicely. The staff was friendly. You can walk to most everything. The downside is the noise from the clubs, but the apartment itself was lovely AND CLEAN!
