Easter weekend and a last minute booking so it was a short list and this location is in the heart of the city, chosen by its cost and location and not by reviews. Reception guy pleasant , foreign breakfast staff zero - I was the only customer in and they never checked on me for half an hour after serving me coffee in a leaking coffee pot. They were more interested in chatting to each other in the microwave kitchen . The so called "Full Irish breakfast " does not come with the traditional black a... Read more

I would never stay here again!!! The carpets were filthy to the point of me wearing socks at all time so my bare feet would not touch it. The ceiling in the bathroom was mouldy, the shower door was hanging off its hinges, shower would either scold you or be absolutely freezing. The toilet didn't flush. Holes in the walls, plug sockets coming away from the wall, decor outdated. Sick on the carpet leading up to the room which looked like it had been there for days. Very noisy!! Which yes i did exp... From previous reviews I booked for two nights and what a shame I was utterly gutted and spoilt my stay. The place was run down, the emergency (fire) number being the same as Reception did not work. When Reception was advised of this point their response was yes they did have a problem with the phones and were expecting some action next week. Three fioor climb with NO lift. Cleanliness leaves much to be desired. The wash basin lacked any form of plug to retain water. The noise level was unaccepta... Read more

The hotel is in a good location but that's all that I can say about it. There was damage like the tap unsecured, no stopper etc. Staff weren't friendly, weren't allowed take the key with you. I can't imagine anyone getting much sleep with the noise and probably the worst value for money place I've ever stayed.

If your looking for a quiet hotel and a good nights sleep then this is not for you. Excellent location. 2 min walk to the busy temple bar area and is also handy for shopping on graffton street. Hotel clean and room was a good size for 3 of us. Decor Could do with a little freshen up but nothing too major. It is right next to a nightclub and as this area is extremely busy at all times it was a bit noisy but considering the location you should consider this before booking. Earplugs helped. Staff a...
