The hotel is in a good location but that's all that I can say about it. There was damage like the tap unsecured, no stopper etc. Staff weren't friendly, weren't allowed take the key with you. I can't imagine anyone getting much sleep with the noise and probably the worst value for money place I've ever stayed.

If your looking for a quiet hotel and a good nights sleep then this is not for you. Excellent location. 2 min walk to the busy temple bar area and is also handy for shopping on graffton street. Hotel clean and room was a good size for 3 of us. Decor Could do with a little freshen up but nothing too major. It is right next to a nightclub and as this area is extremely busy at all times it was a bit noisy but considering the location you should consider this before booking. Earplugs helped. Staff a... The staff are lovely could not fault them and the location is great, short walking distance to popular tourist areas. However, I stayed here for a weekend at a very expensive price to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. I'm not sure where the pictures of the hotel was taking but it definitely wasn't in this hotel, no resemblance what so ever! There was only hot water in the morning, when there was hot water it scalded you one minute and froze you the next was also impossible to sh... Read more

I guess I should start by saying that this is a budget hotel, not what I was expecting based on the reviews but it wasn't bad and it was at a great price compared to many of the hotels in the area. The hotel staff is friendly enough and check in/out was simple. The rooms are adequately furnished but the beds are a bit lumpy and you can tell they are well worn. The bathrooms are in pretty desperate need of some updated hardware and a thorough cleaning but overall, it's only a place to rest your h... Read more

Rude and unhelpful staff, extremely loud music blasting until 2 a.m. from the ground floor pub and teeny rooms. Checked in to find staff had left the top sash of the window open in 50F degree weather and staff waited almost two hours to get the heat turned on to the room. (Someone had to go to the basement and turn the boiler on). And then I found the ash tray in what I had asked to be a non-smoking room (open window???). Overall, not a win.

First of all, most of the reviews mention getting no sleep, but why would you choose to stay in the middle of Temple Bar if you wanted a good nights sleep?!! If you want friendly staff, excellent location and a comfy bed at a very reasonable price, this is the place for you. We stayed in 2 annex apartments and, they're not the ritz but the were clean, comfortable and ideal for a girls weekend away. I was expecting hell by the sound of these reviews, but they are somewhat exaggerated in my opini... Read more

This was not really a business but historical research trip, and I was as usually on a budget. I need to say, I got everything I wanted for the price I was able to pay (a promotional one). Kudos to the hotel, they say explicitly on their webpage that the area is noisy and if one wished a more quiet room, one should tell this. It was fair, i think. I did not ask, but I came there with good ear-sticks ;) and it helped. I had a cold and April was very cold in Ireland. But I had a big and comforta... Read more

This is the second time I have visited Dublin, and my immediate reaction would be its better to stay slightly outside the centre to get better value for money. There is a very loud not very nice bar underneath the hotel, and the quality of the room is extremely poor, not cleaned very well, I lifted up the bed when I was leaving to unsure I hadn't left anything underneath, and there was a thick layer of dust with old milk sachets. I would suggest try and stay away from the temple bar area to ge... Read more

I went with 5 of my friends on our annual citytrip, this time to Dublin. Unfortunately the hotel was terrible. I am a frequent traveller and I am accustomed to good hotels, but normally with our group of friends we stay at budget type hotels due to the mix of the group. This year we actually had a quite expensive hotel (EUR 200+ a night) but the rooms were awful. My friend and myself stayed in room 411 on the top floor (no elevator) and the room was tiny, the interior looked like it came fron th... Read more

This has got to be the WORST place ever. It's currently 2am and the music is still blaring contacted reception but sure if be aswell talking to myself. First of all on arrival with my husband and 3 children they messed up our reservations (2bedrooom annexe room at the back of the hotel) so instead they give us 2 separate rooms at the front of the hotel ?? my goodness I'm so mad right now anyone who reads this and has any sense stay away it's beyond a joke and probably won't get any chat for it... Front desk clerk, "George," was extremely rude. You have to turn your key in when you leave the hotel each day and pick the key back up. George also wanted to charge us for one extra person (who wasn't staying in the room) we had to protest to get the charge taken off. Also, we had mold in the bathtub.

We booked this hotel through for an annexe sleeping 6 people. We arrived at the hotel around 9am after landing and the lady on the front desk was fairly polite but advised us check in wasn't til 3pm and gave us a recommendation for breakfast. She was fairly harsh to another customer checking in but seemed fine with us. We had a look around Dublin and returned around 5pm. We collected our bags and were shown to the annexe which was off the back of the hotel leading into a side street.... Read more

I stayed here on a hen weekend and we had hired 2 Annexes on the 3rd and 5th floor. The rooms very dirty with the majority of carpets stained. The toilets weren't in the best condition. Some tiles coming loose and note all the shower doors closed properly. The beds were made up but the mattresses were like sleeping on rocks and the pillows...terrible. I payed £100 for two nights along with the others. The maximum in each apartment was 7 so if we all paid £100 that's £700 for two nights? Tot... Read more

Booked this hotel for its location, which was perfect for us, however the hotel itself was a nightmare. Considering it cost over £100 a night, the room was extremely basic, shabby and dirty. Mug stains on all surfaces, scuffed paintwork, nearly broken toilet, chipped bath and drippy shower that was a battle to turn on and off. Music blared until the early hours, so much so that the walls were vibrating... We may as well have been in the bar! When the bar closed, drunk stragglers were banging on... Read more

I stayed here for my hen do along with 13 others and we had booked the 2 annexs at the back of the hotel. Yes the hotel does need a refurb and was quite dirty in areas and loud but it's what I would of expected for the money and the location, as Iv stayed in Dublin before at a much higher price! It was cheap for the centre of temple bar which may have reflected on the price. If your staying for a good drink and somewhere cheap then this is the place for you. As we stayed in the annex so I can't... Read more

Stayed one night. Room very poor, net curtains hadn't been washed in ages. Very small room with the smallest double bed I've ever seen. We were on third floor and lift didn't work. ?109 for one night, room only. There are much better hotels nearby for only a few euros more. I didn't have time to read the reviews of it. Wish I had. Noise from the street and bar next door until after 2am. To be expected due to its central location. Don't expect to get much sleep if you book this. I won't be back... Read more

We stayez in the hotel for two mights. We didn't sleep much as the bed was too small for us. Beside that the floors were creaky and ofcource the elevator was out of service so we had to walk multiple flight of stairs to get to our room who was also pretty stuffy. There wer holes and cracks in the room and alot of mold. Wouldnt recommend it to people with asthma. The water was weird, nearly burned myself in the shower as blue wad hot water and red was cold. I stayed here with 4 other females for 2 nights. I had read the reviews but only a few days before hand so it was too late to cancel. I was worried but hoped for the best. When we checked in the gentleman was very friendly and helpful. We eventually found our way to the 3 bedroom annex we had booked (#4). There were also 3 bathrooms which we were all surprised at. Our surprised was short lived when we found, in one bathroom the shower door broken and the shower head tapped up with electrica... Read more

This hotel is a joke - and not a good one. It is expensive. The furniture is worn down and broken. The bathroom is full of mold. The room is dirty and tiny. Furthermore, due to the bar downstairs and the ventilation system in font of hotel rooms, it is loud all night. Just a big fat DON'T.

We stayed in #2 apartment in the annex, 1/2 block from Temple Bar. The apartment was clean, spacious with 2 bedrooms, large bath, kitchen/living room with a washing machine. Noisy because its in the bar district, but bedrooms are in the back and earplugs helped. Great value.

I booked three rooms here for work and I was in a rush and did not read the reviews. We all got bed bug bites, the place is horrible, the picture of the room does not match the reality, it is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. A youth Hostel would be better. It is noisy, the part of the city means that it is noisy , ok but the place is a dump and they charge you £90 for the pleasure, you cannot pull up outside in a car you will get clamped. The place smells the hot water is brown. Look ... Read more

Worst hotel I've ever stayed in, staff treated us like pigs and the whole places is rotten with dirt. Walking up the stairs and it sounded like it was about to fall apart. Considered leaving and finding accommodation elsewhere as it was that awful. When the people next door to us went in to there room it sounded as though they were in our room, also flushing the toilet in the rooms would wake anyone. Very good and central location, staff very friendly. Not a "luxury" hotel, not refurbished in recent years and that of course can bee seen. Allthough the room was clean and breakfast for just over 6eur was "good" - plain and simple but worth the money. Noise from night club down stears might disturb you but didn't bother me. This is something you have to take seriously. Stayd for 4 nights (300eur incl. Breakfast) and I think that was ok for that price and location.

This place is a complete dump. Dirty, unaccommodating and a broken lift as well as the rooms are antiquated, filthy and no extra blankets are available. The location is fine, centrally located; however, everything else here, from the postage stamp bedroom to the disgusting bathrooms to the freezing rooms to the unaccommodating staff -- find a more hospitable enclave.

Needs to refurbished, rooms are cold, been told they were on timers but never came on, good connections to Meze bar and club, room on the first floor are only for people who don't sleep before 3am as the music and revellers down stairs become a rowdy lot.

We has two different rooms because we stayed an extra night. Both were fine, basic and clean. The hotel is in a great location for the Temple Bar area. I t has some cracks and damage to the internal decor which was a bit surprising given the cost of the first room. The staff were extremely accommodating though when we needed to stay on and reduced one room cost to help without us asking for it! Great! Breakfast was a bit like it had been waiting a while.
