Stayed here for four days. Generally a good hotel with easy access to Dunlin central using tram which is a short walk from the hotel. Staff very accommodating. Wifi did not work in room nor did heating but they gave us a plug in heater which was fine. Room was clean and of a good standard. Would stay again.

A few friends and myself stayed in this hotel lately as it's rate is exceptionally good for a hotel in Dublin and it is near the Luas Line so you can travel in and out on the system. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant at a very reasonable price per head of ?26.50. The wine was a good price too at ?21 for house wine. The bar food and breakfast menus are also very good. Our only criticism would be the noise level at night time as the walls are only stud partitions and you can hear everyth... Read more

Kenneth, Jason and Martin made Mr. and Mrs. Ducie's wedding that extra special. Big thank you to all the porters, housekeeping and reception staff. Also, Sinead was very professional in her duties. Small hiccup between one receptionist when we got there. She told the bride, flowers could not be placed in the candle arbers. The manager soon let us know that this is infact possible. The hotel itself was nice. There are options for eating on the grounds. The morning breakfast (which is not included but buy up front and save) was great. Staff where nice. I am not sure where they got 5 star hotel from. Its average rooms (for U.S. standards - UK might usually be smaller). The bar area is very nicely appointed. TV channels are grim at best - couldn't even buy a movie. now normally I am not in the room, so it doesn't bother me, but my mother took ill, so I spent more time ... Read more

This is one of my favourite places to stay when visiting Dublin. Although located in an industrial zone, tram stop is about 10 minutes walk and it runs frequently into the city centre. Rooms are comfortable, clean and tidy, staff are nice and cheerful. All in all, a nice stay at a good price with excellent service. I would totally recommend it!

Stayed here with our son as we had an early morning appointment in Dublin. Not the easiest to get to if come from outside Dublin, You have to go past it and come back on the other side of the road. Same issue when leaving if you want to go into Dublin. Not the Hotel's fault but tricky in a car if you don't know the area. Accommodation is good, friendly reception staff. This was a nice hotel in an industrial area. If you are looking for shopping in walking distance - I couldn't find any except a gas station with a convenience store - about a block down the street. The area surrounding the hotel is industrial. The stair case is grand, the bar is well appointed but the rest was average. Breakfast was good - cooked to order - pay up front and you get a discount. Friendly staff - there is construction going on as the hotel expands.

I booked this hotel for a 2 night family break close to Dublin, I really wish I hadn't. The hotel was a construction site with builders causing a noise disturbance from 07:20 in the morning. There was no mention of the construction work on the website or Facebook page. When I mentioned it to staff at the hotel they stated "Well, it is what it is". Please don't go near this place with children, it's in the middle of an industrial estate and is really unpleasant.

Someone else booked this stay for us and we did no research ourselves. We did not know therefore about the fact the hotel is adding 152 rooms but this obviously has an effect on guests currently staying. Building works started sometime after 07:00hrs on a Saturday morning. Our room, while well furnished and with a large tv, by virtue of its design has a roof truss at quite a low and prohibitive angle. We were not warned about this. Already had a long evening with flights being delayed from Ryanair getting into Dublin very late, luckily the Red Cow still had rooms left that night so after checking in at around 2am, we were woken up by construction workers before 8am. Pleasant stay overall but didn't have much "wow" factor for what I expected given the location and the price tag (thankfully not mine to pay!). Will say that the breakfast was quite tasty. The plus: the breakfast (tasty eggs benedictine), but as well the fact that there is buses going directly to the airport (station at about 15 min walk), the the four stars and a parking. The neutral: the reception (the service is good, but I think normal for that category price). The minus, and why is it overpriced: far from the tram station (count 15 min), which is as well far from the city (they are plenty more hotels closer to that). +You want some finger food in the hotel bar? go to the mac... We are visiting Dublin and chose the red cow for the ratings and also facilities and the access to he city centre. We have been disappointed with our stay due to noisy building work from 7 am in the morning and Japanese tourists running around the hotel floor like a playground. I would not consider staying at this hotel again which is unfortunate as the hotel itself is a lovely place. Also noise even through the newly glaze double Windows is Loud. Visiting from England. On floor 2.

Great hotel to stay in. All staff are very professional and friendly. I would rate the food 5* - excellent. Brilliant value for money whenever you book through "Heatons" web site - B&B with evening meal offer (even covers weekends). Hotel very clean and "classy". Don't forget to visit the "Red Cow Inn" which is situated across the car park for free live music every Saturday night. Car parking is free, so why not hop onto the tram and visit all the sites in Dublin city centre. I have stayed a few... Read more

We attended a wedding here in may this year. Staff were friendly and efficient all went smoothly which was great for the bride and groom food was beautiful even the evening food went down a treat. Only small criticism would be we booked a double room and although it was a large room the bed was tiny for the 2 of us I'm sure the beds in the new part will be bigger and more comfortable other than that a lovely hotel with great staff

We stayed in The Red Cow Hotel in Dublin for one night to attend a concert in the city centre, It has recently undergone a major renovation & I have to say the new additions are just stunning. Our room was spotlessly clean, very spacious & the beds were really comfortable. Staff were extremely friendly & helpful. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection & fast service. This hotel is not in the city centre or even in a good location if you don't have a car, but as a hotel and considered strictly on its value as a hotel, it scores very highly with me. I had a room in the new wing, and this was large, modern, quiet, with sparkling bathroom and big comfortable bed. Nothing to get in the way of a good night's sleep! In the hotel is a nice pub-style restaurant as well as a coffee bar. All in all a good experience.

I stayed at this hotel last week for the second time. The change in the place was amazing and not for the better. The check in guy was unhelpful verging on rude and forgot to mention that the room I had, in the new part of the building, was surrounded by scaffolding with workmen wandering around right outside the window. The room itself was really impressive unlike the elevator which took an eternity to arrive as workmen were traveling between floors 2 and 4 while we waited on one. The stairs ha... Read more

On a recent stay at the Red Cow Moran I found the staff to be particularly friendly and helpful. I must mention in particular Paul, in the restaurant. He was outstanding and deserves a mention for the excellent care and attention that he displayed. I would have expected such a busy hotel to be impersonal. However, the complete opposite is true.

The hotel was far from the city centre, but it's about a twenty minute ride to it. The room was so nice and romantic, and the food was great. However, my boyfriend and I felt very uncomfortable because the customer service was horrible. I felt the older lady, seemed like the manager, was discriminating against us. We did not feel welcome. We felt she was not appreciative that we were paying for her services, she seemed entitled and gave us an attitude even when answering the simplest questions.
