Stayed on 6th May for one night. Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful staff . Hotel is conveniently located within short walking distance of Dublins famous Grafton street ,St Stephens Green, Trinity College (Book of Kells), St Patrick's Cathedral and Christ Church Cathedral. Advertised free parking and breakfast, but reception wanted to charge for parking at check-out. If it wasn't included, they should've said so before telling us how to get into the garage after checking-in. Advertised king size bed, but it was only 2 hard and uncomfortable twins joined together. Reception wrongfully blamed housekeeping. Management must know their own rooms, and blaming others is horrible! Water pressure was way too strong in the sink - it sprayed everywhere. We stayed here for a girly night in Dublin on Friday last. The hotel location was fab and the hotel itself should be a five star. From the minute we arrived, the check in was friendly and smooth. Room were fantastic bright and airy with everything we needed. The breakfast the next morning was probably one of the nicest with lots of choices and I have stayed in many 5 stars. Will defo return for a repeat stay.

Our visit to Dublin was made more memorable, in part, because of the amenities offered during our stay at The Radisson Blu Hotel within a stone's throw of many of the most noted historical sites around the city. The staff were extremely helpful and gave us the feeling that your stay was their personal responsibility. Our business class suite included what we thought must have been the best breakfast that could be found in Dublin. We could not think of a more inclusive, friendly atmosphere in ... Read more

We were in Dublin the weekend of the 22nd May 2016. The hotel is first class, we had a suite which was large and very well equipped, everything you could possibly have wanted was on hand. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the choice was great, I don't think you could have asked for anything they didn't have, and the staff were very attentive. You can get food at the bar in the evening which look of a very high standard but we ate out. Dublin is a lovely city, the Guinness Storehouse w... Read more

Not knowing Dublin, we asked friends for a recommendation. The location was perfect for shopping and sight-seeing. Just about everything is within walking distance (so when we had too many shopping bags we could just nip back to the hotel to drop them off and start again!) Room was very comfortable with all necessary amenities and the the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast options were great and the laundry service prompt and efficient. We would stay there again.

The location was great, it was quite in the center of the city but really quiet part of it. Everything we wanted to see was within a walking distance. The staff was really nice. The room was really comfortable and the breakfast was superb! We tried to have dinner in the restaurant one night but it was close so we have it at the bar instead. It was the perfect choice! I will go back with no doubt.

Not a cheap hotel, for over £250 a night I would at very least expect water to be provided in the rooms. I had to buy bottled water from the bar ! The main conference room is a little tired and needs a spruce up. Rooms a good size and well equipt bathroom. Breakfast was ok, nothing special. The staff were very attentive and quick to clear the tables.

I have gold status with Club Carlson. Not because I'm a big shot of any kind, but because I have their credit card. Because of this, and that fact that I booked a year in advance, I was given an upgraded room (which is FAR from (guaranteed). The staff was extremely polite and respectful. Their was an issue with my points being credited to my account so I asked for help at the front desk. So far, my stay here was really bad. On Sunday, I had to ask my room to be made the whole day... They end up doing it at 09:30 p.m. Now, they want me to change room... My reservation is for 7 days, nobody has mentioned the need to change room during check in. It is a expensive place - you can find beter service for your money.

Despite a nice effort and friendliness of the staff, the property has issues. We were given the change to upgrade to an "apartment" type facility for a fee. Unfortunately, the ac did not work on this apartment. They did manage to get the ac working on the bedroom, but the best they could do for the additional room I paid for, was a fan. It was virtually unusable due to the hot weather during our stay. At check out, they did waive the extra fee for half of our stay. However, I was disappointed wi... Read more

Located within a 5 minute walk of Dublin castle and many great pubs and restaurants, the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel is sophisticated contemporary lines with service to please. We arrived at the hotel at 7:30am Saturday from the airport after an overnight flight from Chicago. We fully expected to have to spend several hours waiting to check-in around noon. The reasons for the rating: 1) when we arrived, no one offered or pretended that they were interested in giving us a hand with our language 2) the sink and the bath in the room had a badly blocked drain 3) the turn down service was offered the first night but never showed the following two nights 4) staff appeared to have limited training on debt card charges. We were held up both times when checking in and out 5) the reception never offered any help in terms of what, where and how

The hotel is well located--just a short walk to the major tourist attractions--but is quieter than many hotels in the city center. The hotel has a pleasant appearance. Most hotels I've had in Europe have mattresses that are too soft or, in the case of a twin, rise slightly on the sides, which cause back problems for me.

We had a 1 bedroom suite for our family of two adults and two preschool age kids. Fantastic amount of space. It had an entry vestibule where we kept the strollers and shows. A bedroom with large bed large closet and full bath (separate shower and tub). The living room had a full dining table, and two large couches which the housekeeping staff happily made into very comfortable beds for the kids. There was also a half bathroom of the entry vestibule. Extremely pleased with the amount of spac... Read more

Whenever I'm in Dublin I choose the Royal. Its centrally located, within walking distance from all major attractions, but just far removed enough to still get some quiet. Service is excellent, as are breakfasts. Would recommend the business class room, worth the cost for the extra space and amenity upgrades. Underground car park is ado really convenient if traveling by car. Will be back.

Dublin is a incredible City. And you need to walk, and this hotel is located in a way you can walk everywhere in the tourist circuit. Very proffesional staff and a wonderful breakfast (included). Rooms are clean, wide and the only "but" is that they need to add more drawers or so. Not enough space, believe me. Wi-Fi is not bad and free also. Go to the Blu with confidence and enjoy Dublin, what a City.

We spent 5 nights at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel in Dublin, and we were really satisfied with everything. One of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. A very nice interior, the staff were always friendly and service-minded, good beds, room was kept very clean, it was nice and quiet, large room, splendid breakfast, good food for dinner. Central location. We will certainly stay at this hotel again if we visit Dublin.

Very well placed for all major tourist attractions in Dublin. Modern and well equipped rooms, maybe a big short in surface, but conmfortable anyhow. The breakfast buffet was particularly good with plenty of choices even for kids. I will certainly repeat on my next tripmto Dublin.

Very, very nice hotel. Elegant in a very chic, modern way. We enjoyed everything really. Staff was always very polite and helpful, the rooms were spacious, clean and very quiet ( not too noisy at night either even with the window open), and the loaction was superb. Within 10 minutes you are at the Molly Malone statue, a meeting point for many day trips. Ideal really for exploring the city by foot. We also really liked the morning buffet. Lots of different choices and presented in a very appeal... Read more
