The hotel is pleasant & clean. Not the best location for exploring Dublin on foot but doable. Enjoyed the restaurants in the area, especially the Queen of Tarts for breakfast. We stayed on a Friday & Saturday night, and could hear loud music late into the night coming from the Temple Bar area. Didn't get much sleep....

Nice easy check in arrived early but given a room straight away. 221. Very cold but on inspection windows would not close. Used a full box of tissues to pack out to stop draught. Once radiator kicked in nice and warm throughout stay Room very clean with nice bed linen. Bathroom in desperate need of a makeover. Dark d cor but in keeping with building Breakfast was included. Not much choice but cooked nicely and plenty of tea and coffee. Expected some noise at night due to location but ... Read more

I just wanted a hotel in a good location near the major Dublin attractions. The Paramount is on the edge of the Temple Bar (in itself is a tourist trap by the way). Dublin Castle is just steps away as are other major must sees in Dublin. The staff here was friendly enough. My one major problem with this place was that it was do for a renovation. The whole place seems to have been teleported from the 1930's with a redo since then. The breakfast was good but a tad too greasy. The hotel pub... Read more

The hotel is fine, the room is clean and not a bad size and the bathroom is ok. Unless you are prepared to pay a lot of money, rooms in Dublin are slightly dated. The hotel is very noisy until the pub closes and then you have piece. Some hotels are constantly noisy so this was good. Very close to temple bar. The staff here are great and are happy to help. The breakfast is amazing. We would stay again.

We had booked this hotel with friends as we were going to a concert in Vicars Street and wanted something close by. To be honest we only booked this place because of the price and location but I think we would go back here just for a weekend in Dublin alone. The walk from the train station was easy enough, just follow the river. The room itself, well, we couldn't believe the size of it. With a double and a single bed it would be great for girls or boys weekends away. A small fridge in the... Read more

We stayed at the Paramount for New Year's Eve as a group of 3 couples. The location of the hotel was perfect for us within a short walking distance from all the main tourist spots and bars. The guy at reception was particularly helpful and friendly, especially when we arrived very tired at 8:30am to drop our bags! Despite check in being at 2pm, he allowed us to check in early which was very much appreciated after a 4am wake up! The rooms were on the first floor and we were advised in advance... Read more

We were really impressed with the standard of the room we got. The staff were really friendly and the welcome we got makes all the difference. The location was really central so we thought the competitive price would mean that the room wouldn't be great. We were wrong. Great hotel over all. More hotels could take a leaf out of the Paramount book!

Stayed at the Paramount mid week to enjoy delights of Temple Bar and surrounding area. Room was small in comparison to some photos seen on here however was clean nonetheless and very hot! Usual coffee/tea making facility, shower gel etc. No iron/board in room, trousers press only but sure one would have been available from reception. One point to note, serious lack of plug sockets. Most equipment have been hard wired into sockets therefore cannot be removed. There was 1 socket on the dressing... Read more

Hotel was clean and our room was quiet because we were on the south side of the hotel, close to the drop-off and pick-up Airport Bus, breakfast was good and the hotel is close to all the pub, restaurants and shopping. Hotel was quiet because we were there in November so less tourists.
