The hotel is a bit rough around the edges, but for the price a good buy. I have stayed in more expensive hotels in Dublin but Maple fits the bill. It's really central to O'Connell street and 10 minutes walk from Temple Bar. Some rooms are bigger than others, but the rooms are clean and adequate. Save your euros for more Guinness in the great bars. Next door is a great Restaurant/live music bar O'shea's. In a nutshell don't look for faults enjoy your break away in Dublin.

We are currently staying here at the moment. Wonderful little hotel to use as a base whilst travelling in Dublin. Friendly staff, the room although basic was lovely and cosey. Highly reccommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cheap but decent stay right in the heart of Dublin

Worst hotel we have stopped in when visiting Dublin, fag ends all over the front doorway. We found a nappy in the walkway which was thee all day. Gotta say never again will we stop at this hotel for the money we paid it weren't worth it

This hotel is rated as a two-star place, and it is. It is clean and the beds are comfortable. And its location is great, parallel with the Spire in O'Connell Street. After that I have little positive to say about it. We established that we were in a room that had no fire escape, which was particularly disconcerting as the alarm went off one night. A false alarm fortunately. The staff were at best civil, but more usually curt and unhelpful. Both the heating of the room and the hot water were rand... Read more

This hotel simply costs too much for what it is. Very dated, shower wasnt working properly, breakfast choices very limited and the windows are practically non-existent. Very loud and cold in the rooms. Some of the staff was friendly, two people were rude. If the rooms were very cheap i could live with all that, as at least the room was clean and central, but there are better hotels for cheaper in the area. Would not book again.

Had a fantastic stay, rooms clean, beds comfy and bathroom was a good size and clean. Breakfast was good and the staff were very helpful. We were on the top floor and there are no lifts. So property is Not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Tip: book directly with the hotel for a free Irish breakfast

I stayed here in September 2016 for a reunion. I booked a quadruple room but when we arrived and checked into the room it was a room with with a camp bed and two doubles. I complained to the receptionist who told me that the quadruple room had been taken. After a little negotiation we were given two separate rooms. This was not what we had planned however we made the best of it. The hotel itself is dated and the rooms are very basic. The breakfast was lovely and always plenty to choose from. The... Read more

This hotel was in the perfect location and the staff were really helpful with directions etc. The room was basic but clean and a good size. Don't let some reviews put you off - I would recommend this hotel but don't expect the Hilton. The location and staff make this well worth the stay for the price you pay. We didn't have breakfast but went to Ann's bakery up the road which was good. I'd also recommend the little restaurant Thai Spice (‚?¨42 per couple deal) and takeaway Star Pizza (‚?¨5 mea... Just back from our trip to Dublin. This is my second time staying at the maple hotel, this is a lovely place to stay. The staff are very friendly and helpful, very Informative about questions I asked. They arranged a taxi for my daughter and her friend,to go to the 3 arena which was very helpful. We had a great full Irish breakfast the next morning. We left our luggage for a few hours, while we went shopping. The hotel is so close to all Dublin attractions. Our room was very clean with ensuite ba... Read more

first of all its not a hotel, more a b&b. second, its very shabby & run down but clean. The 'bar' is an empty room with rickety furniture & v few drinks & no customers but it advertises 'music 7 nights a week' which there wasn't, so false advertising. it is very central which I needed. The 'breakfast' was served in a kitchen type area & consisted of a very small sideplate with the absolute minimum amount of very cheap fry up food on it. Would not stay there again.
