Some friends and I stayed at this hotel whilst in Dublin. The room was gorgeous with plenty of space and the staff were extremely helpful with every wish. It is about a 5 minute walk to temple bar area and also to the shops meaning you can go there for any type of stay I would highly recommend this hotel!!!!!!!

Stayed here on business for one night and have to say that it was spotless. The bed was very comfortable. The room appeared cold at first but I turned on the radiator which helped but it was quite noisy. It has all the basics you need such as tea/coffee facilities, hairdryer, iron etc. For a city centre hotel it was relatively quiet. The restaurant was closed the night I was there due to unforeseen circumstances but that did not affect me but could have for others. The hotel is fine for short st... Read more

We stayed here last weekend for a trip to Dublin to see a show. This hotel is not far from the City Center in a nice area which seems to have recently been modernized. When checking in the Hotel staff where excellent and well presented, the girl on the desk said we have been upgraded however i failed to see any difference in the room we had to what we had booked. The rooms where very clean and cannot be faulted except for a drip from the Shower Head which we didnt notice until coming back that n... Read more

Spent 2 nights here with my wife. On check in we were warmly greeted by the staff on duty. The room was very clean and spacious also the bathroom, the decor in the room was well done. The hotel is ideally situated for anyone visiting Dublin, it is only a few minutes walk from the Smithfield Luas stop any to see Dublin. There are some nice places on the area for food and drink. Breakfast was very good and presented with plentiful of choices. We were very disappointed with the dinner, not very hot... Read more

Stayed here with a friend and two of my nieces. Would definitely stay here again. Breakfast excellent. Cleanliness excellent overall experience excellent. Couldn't fault it. Everyone in the party agreed. Shortish walk from all the action. Or a quick taxi ride away.

We chose to stay at Maldron Hotel Smithfield as our family were staying on the next tram stop. Well situated, just a 3 minute walk to the tram stop. was 2 stops away from city centre. We didn't book bed and breakfast but did have breakfast on our second morning, it was 11 euros for a full English, which seems to be average in Dublin. The room was nice, beds were comfortable but was very warm, we had to sleep with the window open. overall stay was nice.

stayed at this hotel for one night in may. Rooms were clean. Reservations were exactly as booked. rooms with friends were close together. the district is really nice and it's close to all the sites in Dublin (we walked everywhere). The parking can be hard to find, and the initial spaces for checking in are very tight. we had breakfast in the restaurant downstairs and it was delicious.

Stayed for 2 nights. arrived too early for check in so we left our cases and went out. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. We had been upgraded to a balcony room which was great, it was modern, light and airy and very clean. We booked directly with the hotel and were given 15% voucher off food or drink or both, so we ate in the hotel both nights purely for convenience. If you do be warned portions are massive. If we return to Dublin, we will definitely stay there again for convenience. ... Read more

We stayed on a week night as my wife was working locally. The first pleasant surprise was an upgrade to the top floor which had a lovely view over the city. The car park was very handy as it is directly under the hotel and we did not have to brave the elements. We had a meal in the restaurant and the waiter could not have been more helpful. My wife's meal was cold and had to be sent Bach twice but as a very nice gesture they did not charge us for the wine. The room as very comfortable with loads... Read more
