Booked in for 2 nights and just before midnight on our last night there, I booked again for the following night. I didn't want to leave ! Loved the room, so comfortable and fab decor. Location is excellent (2 min walk to Luas) The staff and manager definitely deserve a mention because every one of them were so helpful and friendly. Staff can make or break a hotel so well done to you all. I'm looking forward to staying with you again in the near future. Thank you for a lovely stay...

We stayed here for a girly weekend. It was a lovely room to fit all four of us in. The only complaint I could say is that we could of done with a few more coathangers. We paid for the breakfast which was 10â?¬ which was well worth the money. It wasn't that far to walk anywhere or it was just up the road from the tram stop or the hop on/off bus. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Would definitely stay here again. Room was very nice, quiet. Overlooked pedestrian plaza. Close to all attractions, within walking distance of most. Excellent Irish breakfast buffet for minimal charge on room.

The hotel staff is very friendly and we loved the good sized room. Unfortunately, we had to move from our first room at the rear, because these rooms are facing to an extremely loud air condition of the opposite house. We moved to a room at the front side which didn't have the air condition but some noise at night from people coming home from partying. The bed was a bit too hard for us. And the breakfast wasn't worth the money. With scrambled eggs from the container and dry sausages, mushrooms w... Read more

Nice, big room with good beds. Location OK, about four tram stops away from city in an area that obviously has had a clean up. Good breakfast buffet and helpful staff. Nice restaurants nearby if one wants to try other than hotels own.

The receptionists were very kind and helpful all the way through my stay! The location was perfect for both my work and for a little sight seeing. And the gym next door, while not included in the price, was very convenient for much needed workouts. And there's a great pub directly across the street with Live Music - so fun. I would recommend!

Spent 2 nights at this hotel recently whilst exploring Dublin. Smithfield is a quiet location with easy access to the tram system and in easy walking distance of Temple bar The old Jameson distillery is just across the square and there are plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes in very easy walking distance. The staff are very obliging and friendly and the rooms are of good size and we had a balcony overlooking the city. Sadly no individual toiletries are provided. Car parking is in the adjacent... This is a comfortable hotel in a great location for seeing Dublin. The area is quiet but with a few shops and bars etc. nearby. Temple Bar itself is only a short walk away. Very friendly service in hotel, would recomend this for any kind of Dublin stay.

I have stayed here multiple times for professional and personal reasons and I would not stay anywhere else for the same price: helpful staff, great confortable rooms and very good amenities frankly. Close to Luas and around 10-20 minutes afoot to the center of Dublin, it makes it extremely good and cost-effective as an hotel.

The advertisement for this place is not accurate, and the service was not that good. Bottom line: not worth the price. They charge 4-5 star prices for a 2-3 star place. First of all, they lead you to believe it is in the center of town. It is not, and it is in an area that's "in transition". Also, we came back to the room every night we were there after sightseeing, to see we weren't given any towels. Each night I had to ask for them, and once or twice they would bring the wrong size towels. ... Read more

Recently refurbished, modern, clean and great location. Staff were excellent and could not do enough for us. A great place to say and I will be back. The food was good value for city center, nice decor and a pleasant evening. The reception staff were so helpful and professional; great ambassadors for the Maldron Hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel was clean, staff was helpful. The hotel was located on Smithfield Plaza, and walking distance to main sights. The Luas (electric trolley) stop was close by. It was a little noisy at night...we had to keep the window open as there was no air conditioning. The breakfast was good, and had a variety of things to choose from.

In mind, just for sleep and work, this is ok. Very narrow hallways, but clean and decent furnished. The breakfast was ok and variated in options. Coffee good, location ok, wifi average but stability ok. Overall not something to remember, but compared to other hotels in the area, this was the best value for the money, and fulfilled its purpose. No minibar, but vendor in lobby area. Large grocery store, next door. Easy accessible by taxi/car. Walking distance to bars, restaurants and shopping.

Visited here with my partner for a Saturday night stay. The hotel is modern and clean. We opted for an executive room but upon arrival were upgraded to a complimentary junior suite. This really made our night. Practicality wise the hotel has an agreement with an underground car park that is located below the building in the basement with a direct elevator to the hotel lobby. The Luas is just a skip down the road and we found it very convenient to the city centre for â?¬3.60 return. You could ea... Read more

Nice hotel in great area. Bus stop at end of the square and plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around. Close to Temple Bar and Grafton Street, about 20 minute walk. Rooms are clean and restaurant in the hotel was very good. Friendly staff in the restaurant. The ladies that worked on the evening of June 29th were lovely. Thank you for the tea!

Spent three nights in the Jameson suite on the 6th floor. Room was ready upon on arrival, hotel staff was friendly. Suite was large and clean. Beautiful views from the room and the hotel is in a great location - down the street from the luas stop or within walking distance to city center. Plenty of wonderful restaurants in the square for breakfast and dinner (oscar's, Christophe's, third space, sparks) Fresh supermarket next door was very convenient. The only downside to the hotel was no re... Read more

Vlad I think that's how you spell his name, was absolutely amazing today. I had 2 girls with no English stuck in Dublin and he helped me out and took care of them. Sometimes all it takes is for someone to go that extra mile to make a hotel amazing. 100 % recommend!

We arrived quite late in an evening, and check in was still fast and very friendly and welcoming. The room was as the picture on the website, and very clean too, although some touch ups could be done at some of the furniture which has been damaged, this wouldn't make me rate the hotel. We had a double and single bed and the room was spacious and light, with good facilities. The only down side is there is no air conditioning so you do need to open your window, however it is not in a noisy neig... Read more

First of all, the staff at the desk are awesome! Super friendly and always there to help. Thankyou! Our room was on the 5th floor with a balcony. Perfect spot to look out on to the square. The room was spacious which was nice. Only downside was there was no air con so was very hot at night, we left the door open on our balcony to cool the room down. Other than that the room was perfect. Bathroom - no issues was really nice The breakfast - omg so so sooo good! Loved the variety of food. The ... Read more

We stayed two nights on our first trip to Ireland, and the Maldron Hotel Smithfield was a great choice if you want to stay in a great location to Sight-see Dublin. Front desk staff was very helpful and the room was very nice. Our room was on the sixth floor and a corner room, the balcony view of the Dublin skyline was one of the best features of the room. Bathroom was spacious and clean, bed was comfortable. Close to some good restaurants, would recommend My Meat Wagon it's right around the cor... Read more
