We arrived very early into Dublin and luckily the hotel had a locked luggage room and so were more than happy to accommodate us with our luggage. Check in was easy although we requested 2 rooms and they were completely separate from each other which was slightly annoying! The rooms were big, clean and had a good shower. 4 girls getting ready in one room wasn't an issue. The girls on the bottom floor did complain about the noise as it is mainly groups and hen dos that seem to stay here. I would s... Read more

The outside of the hotel was a big building site when we arrived, it's undergoing what seems to be the final stages of redecorating. On the inside it's all finished and is a really nicely decorated hotel. Checkin was easy and friendly, some of the rooms weren't ready so were able to leave bags. It's about a fifteen minute walk from College Green and so location is pretty good. Although there's not too much actually around the hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and a reasonable size, very qu... Read more

The hotel was excellent and the staff was very helpful. The whole experience at this hotel was very enjoyable and I would definitely recommend it! The rooms were good sizes and everything was very clean! The breakfast in the morning was also delicious!

Only stayed one night, we had a deluxe double room. On the website it says to call the reception to access the parking from Erne st. Lower we pulled up outside the gate rang the hotel only to be told we had to come into reception first to get a permit...no parking at front of the hotel and 20 minutes later we managed to get a permit and got parking. Check-in was very slow, 1 guy on the reception at a very busy time of the day. We waited 15 minutes to check-in got up to our room to discover the r... Read more

Everything here was fine--nice and competent desk and restaurant staff. Only thing to be cautioned of is the actual room you're assigned. We were on the second level (technically level "1" as level 0 is main level on the elevator), and would suggest avoiding bookings in rooms 123-131ish. If your room is overlooking an inside courtyard area with stones, it is a wall that's adjacent to apartments that they're attached to - named "The Winter Garden". There is an access door from the courtyard i... Read more

We found this hotel on a package deal of flight/hotel on Expedia. Stayed for five nights while visiting Dublin. From the airport, we took a Taxi to the hotel; the cost was 22 Euros. My wife and I both enjoy walking, so we tend to look for a hotel just withing walking distance of the city center. The Maldron Hotel was the perfect place, about a 15-minute walk to the center of town. There's plenty of coffee shops and small markets close to the hotel. The staff was very friendly and knowledg... We stayed one night due to the hotels super close proximity to the Bord Gais theatre (it's literally 3 minutes walk). The hotel foyer is very modern looking and we were checked in nice and quickly. I was left disappointed by the food, I ordered the Steak, but the "gravy" sauce wasn't very nice. Luckily it come in a separate bowl so i could avoid it, but this left the steak a bit dry and boring. My partner ordered the burger which come in a Waterford Blaa bun, which we was looking forward to. H... Read more

Just spent three nights at the Maldron (Pearse Street). Everything was new, and clean, and value for money. The staff were excellent; especially Andrea on reception and the young guy on the bar (I've completely spaced on his name, apologies). Would definitely go again.

Nice hotel in the city centre. Reception , dining room bar all tastefully decorated and all together in one long strip just inside the entrance. The rooms have bland decor. My husband and I were allocated room 101 which had full disabled facilities and did not suit us as the wash basin was at wheel chair height and posed a problem bending down to brush our teeth. After showering the room was completely saturated as there was no glass to separate the shower cubicle. I had taken my husband for a ... Read more

We stayed here for two nights during our stay in Dublin. The hotel has a nice modern feel, with spacious renovated rooms. My only caution is that it is about a 20 minute walk to the Temple bar area, and there isn't much around the hotel for tourists. The advantage of this however, was that it was reasonably quiet at night, and we were able to get a good sleep each night without hearing the noise from the more touristy areas.

So we stayed here for 1 night to be told that there was no spaces left for customers??? so basically they can't cater for there customers wants??? we had to park a 10 minute walk away which cost us 30 euro for 1 night this was also rediculous and normally the distance wouldn't be too bad but crating our luggage handbags and makeup cases down the road was awful especially after a 4 hour drive...then as usual I had a shower just to realise they had no shampoo/shower gel left?! also there was what... The best thing about this place was that the rooms were clean and modern. The staff was also helpful. In particular, we counted ourselves as very lucky to be able to check in early (around 10AM) and get one of their 10 euro parking spaces behind the building. We were traveling as a family, but apparently you only get one wifi login per bed as we received two logins. They have limited parking available, so again we counted ourselves lucky to get one of the few spaces they had. I believe other of... Read more

After booking the hotel through a third party website we were advised we could check in as early as we wanted on the day of arrival which was handy as we had an early flight. Upon arrival we were told the information about the early check in was wrong and we couldn't check in until some 6 hours later, after I asked to speak to the manager and told him about it he said there was nothing he could do and didn't even offer us a room to shower or change in after I explained the early check in was a m... Stayed here for 1 night with two friends I went to the reception desk to check in and was rudely spoke to by the receptionist Andrea. We were not greeted she was very rude and short with us. We did not have our money sorted for the room yet so asked could we pay after we drop our bags to the room before we parked the car but was told we couldn't that we had to pay for everything now which I have never experienced some of us had to open our suitcases in the lobby to do this and others had no mone... From the friendly greeting when checking in (the staff made our 5 year old feel like a real princess), to comfortable clean rooms and a very tasty meal in the restaurant (again with staff who couldn't do enough), the Maldron Pearse street was a find. I happened to be in Dublin for work for a couple of days and needed somewhere to stay and decided that my wife and daughter could take advantage! Picked this hotel purely on location to work (Grand Canal Quay area), but absolutely lucked out. Modern... Read more

The hotel is pretty close to everything and/or the hop on hop off bus route. We liked our room as it was overlooking an inside courtyard. Our cousin's room was on the end of the building and heard noise all night. No air conditioning or fans in the bathrooms so the rooms can get pretty warm. Great showers. Expensive buffet breakfast so I just walked a couple blocks for coffee, muffins and fruit from a local cafe and grocery store. Smokers just outside the lobby or sitting at the tables fill the... Was here and won't go back. Rooms are oddly shaped and hardly any room to move around the bed without bumping into things. Only good thing about the room was it had a nicely updated walk-in shower. Restaurant for breakfast is self serve for everything including coffee. If you left a plate at the table and went to get something more you would come back to a cleared table, so make sure someone stays at the table

Hotel and food is fine. What I object to is being harassed by the staff because my company had not left its credit card deatils. The woman was rude and agressive, overall it was a very poor customet experience.

A good hotel with large rooms and bathroom, clean, very well maintained. The reception is professional, breakfast extensive and a nice restaurant (excellent sirloin steak). Personnel is very helpful, sometimes they just could smile a bit more. A max of 15 minute walk to the center of Dublin. I enjoyed my stay.

The Maldron Pearse Street is a nicely refurbished hotel in the area behind Trinity College. The rooms are a good size and nicely fitted out with in room safe, iron and ironing board. Beds are comfortable and it has air conditioning as well which worked well as it was 30C in Dublin when I visited. The rooms are also quiet and there is free WiFi as well. The staff are very pleasant and efficient. There is a good buffet spread for breakfast if you want it. You can get to the hotel easily from th... Read more
