Quaint hotel, with great character and charm. Friendly staff. Good food. Close to a good selection of bars and restaurants. Aviva rugby/football Stadium five minutes walk. Grafton Street shopping area 12/15 minutes walk.

I thought this was an upmarket boutique type hotel. I was wrong. The rooms are very small and old. My first room had a bad musty smell. All the furniture was old and creaky. The room was also quite small. Becausr of that, I asked for a bigger room and was charged ‚?¨20 to upgrade to a suite. Bizarrely, the suite room was actually smaller. The bathrooms are tiny. The showers are old. And there is a really bad smell of dirty pipes in the bathroom. The plugs have no power and it was difficult t... Read more

Stayed here before several years ago. Well located close to village and 15 minute walk to the city. Reception tried to accommodate an early check in, eventually got a room at 1pm rather than 2pm. The room was very very basic, small, old fashioned, and the floor of my room and others creaked loudly when I walked. Annoying when try to get sleep.

Stayed at the Lansdowne for 3 nights and loved it. The rooms were cleaned every day and were comfortable. The den bar downstairs is quiet but lovely and Brendan is an absolute gem! Made us feel so welcome and always had time to stop and chat, gave us advice on the city and things to so and rook am interest in us aswell. The food down there is brilliant too. Friendly and helpful desk staff. Would deffi recommended and dtay again.

We stayed one night at the Landsdowne before Christmas , the service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for the reception staff who went out of their way to help. Although the hotel does not have a lift the young man at reception was happy to bring our bags up to the room. We would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting central Dublin.

An excellent place to stay or to book an event. All the staff, from the Reception, the Bar Staff, the Restaurant staff to the Manager, are extremely friendly and are very attentive to ensure your visit it Top Shelf!

Lansdowne only claims to be a 3 star hotel but most of its rooms would be better than that. The breakfast is superb and all the staff friendly and professional. Meet Brendan in the bar and Ann-Marie at breakfast, Ann and Simone at Reception. Also free car parking if you arrive in time. I stay there every time I'm in Dublin.

The hotel was clean, the staff were incredibly helpful and the location was convenient. The hotel could do with a little revamping as the bathroom was tired, loose floor tiles (cut my foot) however the food in the bar was great and their level of service out shone the little issues.

Pure luck on the timing that we booked during the Ireland - New Zealand rugby match. Despite the craziness, the hotel staff were amazing. Attended the house party and the entertainment was fantastic. Nice down-home feel to it.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Food was perfect and good value for money. Perfectly situated for shopping. Found it hard to sleep as floors were creaking on next floor. Was very disappointed the Tv wasn't working
