Only stayed one night and was made very welcome. Staff very freindly. I Arrived too early to take the room they kept my luggage safe for my return later on. Room was comfortable and clean with good ablutions. Breakfast next morning was good too. A quiet road and location afforded a good nights sleep. Easy to get into town centre with bus stops just a short walk away. If you want to walk to O'Connell street would probably take at least 30 mins. Didnt get a chance to use the bar or restaurant. We stayed as a large group of friends, for one night. The rooms were clean and neat, our room had an en suite shower room, tea/coffee making facilities and a double wardrobe (hairdryer and TV in room, iron and ironing board on request). Although the bar was downstairs and there was a private function on, there was no noise or disturbance at all in our room. The best thing about this hotel though was the staff! We were made to feel welcome from the start, but in particular the bar staff were incr... Read more

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night a little while back. Location and proce were good but the room was poor. Cold and really old decor. Bathroom could have been cleaner also and in the end I was glad I was only staying one night. To be fair the staff were very nice and friendly and when I forgot my iPhone charger they safely kept it for me in reception until I returned to collect later in the week. I hope I just got a sub standard room

I recently stayed at the Landsdowne Hotel, and I had a wonderful experience there. The hotel is small and located in the Dublin 4 area which is the wealthiest and prettiest section of the city. Several embassies are nearby, and the neighborhood is pleasant. Many points of interest associated with the Easter Rising are in the immediate area as well as the Grand Canal. I had a single so my room was rather small; but it was clean, comfortable, cozy, and quiet. The staff was extremely pleasant and f... Read more

This 17th century townhouse turned rambling collection of rooms and corridors, a restaurant and basement bar, has its pros and cons. Very convenient walking distance to many restaurants and pubs/ bars and shopping, it is known ( per the cab driver) as popular with sports fans as it is very close to Aviva stadium. Tho at our visit time ( late May), seemed more tourist couples from within and outside of Ireland. We had booked triple rooms, and the price seemed to fluctuate fairly wildly from inqui... Read more

Hotel tired and my room had an unpleasant smell from drains. I called receptionist to the room but she said that all rooms were occupied. After she spoke to managers she found an alternative room but was waspish with me and I had to carry my bags to new room! Breakfast passable and waiting staff friendly.

Stayed here for three weeks on business trips. As long as you avoid room 37 it is a hood standard hotel with very friendly staff. Well situated for the centre, about 30 minute walk but plenty of transport available. The bar is god and food was reasonably good and relatively well priced.

Lovely small hotel, friendly, helpful staff ( Margaret was especially helpful and informative) quiet, comfortable room, very good breakfasts. It's a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of town, which we enjoyed, but there is plenty of public transport. There is a regular dinner-and-Irish-music-and-dance show in the bar in the basement which was also very enjoyable.

We stayed at this hotel for only one night unfortunately as we were leaving to go back to Australia. It it a lovely small hotel. Breakfast was absolutely beautiful with plenty of good quality food, and homemade soda bread. Ann-Marie our hostess was awesome. Landsdowne Hotel is about 2.5km from the Trinity College. Two great things are free parking and free WiFi. Our room was on the top floor and there are no elevators. I didn't mind, but my spouse was having difficulties. The room was a double, very small (very cozy), but covered the basics. The mattress could use a replacement, but we were so tired from walking the whole day, we slept like logs. There is a restaurant in the hotel, but we didn't use it.
