If we had only stayed for two nights, I would have rated this hotel much higher. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and had obviously been recently renovated. They offer free bottled water, instant coffee in the room. The first two nights weren't bad as we were far away from the noisy nightclub. I used a white noise machine through headphones to drown out the bass beat that I could hear. However, night three was a complete nightmare. A party was being held in the roo... Read more

Myself & 5 friends stayed here as we were going to a concert & hoping to go out after. The noise downstairs does not bother me whatsoever, it does transfer to a nightclub so that's to be expected. But firstly I found the receptionist rude when we arrived but passed no heed to it. We ordered a quadruple & a double room. The decor of the rooms were lovely and the quadruple room was beautiful with the double being a lot smaller. However this didn't make up for the rudeness of the staff. Our conce... Read more

Filthy dirty noisy unsuitable for business or one night. This is a nightclub with lift and stairs into filthy dirty grubby hostelry. I found vomit in the lift. Vomit stains smells in my room. Noisy dirty nightclub starts 7 nights a wk 11pm to 4am. Smoke in room for 5 hrs. Sleeping impossible. 190 a night for vomit smoke filled filthy dirty disgusting room. Is this legal? Filthy dirty disgusting unfit for me or my assign. I complained about the filthy dirty vomit soaked stairs and carpet and vomi... Read more

This would not be my ideal place to go for a night out, but I have heard so much about it I had to experience it for myself. The hygiene in the place is appalling, and trying to get served is next to impossible at times. Getting lost is also a possibility as this venue is quite big and if your other half is 5ft nothing they can be easily misplaced! Won‚??t be hurrying back here, but least I can say I got the shift in coppers right?

Avoid at all costs. Floor in room wet. Shower was freezing cold. Terrible mattress with plastic cover. VERY NOISY all night. Staff dismissive of uncomfortable stay. Too used to complaints. AWFUL. The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I would never stay here again.

This was a decent place to stay, as it was very close to Dublin City. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nice. However, it is over the main night club of Dublin and would be difficult to sleep in unless you were going to go to Coppers! Headphones included in the room which highlight this. Would stay again, but only when I know that there won't be many people going out! There was also a cracked window in the room

We never really got in to this hotel, since they cancelled our booking two nights before our arrival. It was a weekend when Bruce Springsteen was in Dublin so every hotel, hostel, B&B and rental house was fully booked. We were forced to make many last minute calls and use our time for searching another place to stay, which was extremely hard. Finally we found another place to stay which cost us over 300 euros per night, which we had to take since there was nothing cheaper accommodation availabl... Read more

My boyfriend booked this hotel without looking at any reviews or even looking at the hotels website. I think he just went for something within our budget. After he had made the booking I myself looked at reviews and was shocked that the hotel was supposed to be noisy and unclean. Our room was really big and the bed was clean and comfy. The bathroom was a bit dingey but i suppose it is because its an old building and hasnt been modernised. The only thing i can complain about were the noise lev... Read more

I recently visited the Copper Face Jack's nightclub/lounge and was appalled by my treatment by the doormen. Granted it was late into the night and I was with a large group of friends but I am not a drinker really, certainly not a big one. I was told by doormen that I was too drunk to enter and then watched on soberly as many of my friends and other members of the public were allowed to enter in much more intoxicated states. Eventually, I was allowed to enter, a second doorman felt I was in '... Read more

There are many nightclubs in that exact street. I did not know that at the time of booking though. The hotel itself is ok, nothing special nothing fancy. It offers good sleeping comfort (except the loudness). They do provide the earplugs. It is clean tidy and with helpful receptionists, but could be a bit cheaper.

Stayed at Jackson Court in June with a total of 8 family members. We couldn't believe the noise that starts at 11 pm until 6 am. None of us were able to sleep. We were on the 3rd floor back of the building - the live band was just below outside on the patio. It was unusually warm, so we had to leave the windows open. We should've know when we saw ear plugs on the nightstands that there would be loud music and people. It was in the middle of the week - I can image what kind of noise there w... Read more

If you dont mind noise from the street and also from the nightclub underneath this could be the place for you, room was very small and the bathroom basic, had to let water run for 10 minutes to heat up the shower. Staff very friendly and helpful.

My boyfriend and I stayed here when visiting Dublin to see Rihanna. The reception staff were friendly and checked us into room 313. The bedroom was massive and the big wooden sleigh bed was beautiful. The view over the rooftops was lovely too. The hotel is easy walking distance of Grafton street etc and there are ample bars and restaurants all around it. We went to Coppers nightclub that night and for a Tuesday, the place was packed. I imagine for older couples or those who want peace and quiet,... Read more

If you want a decent night sleep then DON'T stay here! While they do tell you they have a nightclub, they don't happen to mention on the website that it runs every night until after 3am. We stayed on a Monday night and couldn't believe the noise. It's not that they even had that many people in - they had more bouncers that revellers. It wasn't even that the room made up for it. The sliding sash windows were held open by blocks of wood and the only plug beside the mirror didn't work - meaning ha... Read more

This is a nice hotel. I stayed in a triple room. The beds were good and the room was clean and comfortable. The one thing to remember is that this is basically a party place. The bottom bit is a big disco at the evenings. This goes on to about 5am. I was on a stag so this was great for me. The hotel lobby basically turns into the disco cloak room. Sooooooo, if your going to Dublin to drink the head of yourself and have the crac this is a good place and it is in a great location. If you want a qu... Read more

On booking my room I asked the lady (Amanda) over the phone about parking. She informed me that the hotel didn't have parking but you could park at Q-Park St. Stephens Green for ‚?¨10 during your stay. On check in I again met Amanda and confirmed with her that parking would only cost me ‚?¨10 if I left my car in Q-Park for 24 hours. On check out, a different lady was at reception and gave me the discount parking card that read ‚?¨17.50. I told the girl that I had been informed twice that parking... Read more

First let me mention the hotel is situated on top of a night club. If you are looking for a quiet nights sleep it might not be the best place but if you want easy access to a nice nightspot its very convenient. Rooms were nice and staff was very friendly.

This centrally located hotel seems ideal on first glance. The room was nice, the bathroom ok. We were up for a gig in the 3 Arena and a night out so weren't planning on being put out by noise from Coppers downstairs. However little did we know that a construction site was right outside the premises which started digging and chipping old Road at 8 am this morning! The club was awesome. Dance music till about 11 then pop/decent music. The club starts going around 11:30. We emailed before and talked to Carl so when we arrived we skipped the queue and didn't pay entry. Decent price for drinks. We didn't stay at the hotel but I would go back tot the club.

The hotel was not clean, didn't have air conditioning, we had very poor breakfast in a rather upleasent room whilst the staff loudly complained about their jobs. There was no lift to some third floor rooms. But worst of all, every night it was EXTREMELY NOISY - music, taxis, drunk patrons - due to a night club on the ground floor (7 days a week) which was not made explicit upon booking or arrival. We had VERY POOR night sleep, we had to keep the windows closed because of the noise, living our ro... Read more

Wanted a peaceful weekend away, found the Jackson online and were impressed so we booked. First impression was great, staff on check in was very helpful. (Time frame - Late August, with the windows open) Two nights of no sleep because our room is over a club-beer garden that does not close until 4am. The room (a Double)is the size of the picture, we have to turn sideways to get around the bed. We paid ALOT for this room, it was not worth a fraction of what we paid. Choose wisely.

Did not know there was a nightclub on the premises until after we arrived with jet lag. Noisy through the night, of course, until about 4:30 am. However, if you're planning on clubbing, it would be very convenient and nice to just go upstairs to sleep as the sun rises. Nice location in city and just steps away from "Airlink" bus from the airport, as well as a Luas stop.

By far the worst experience and worst hotel/hostel ever stayed at. At night the entire basement and ground floor was turned into a night club. Reception and dining area was removed, converted into nightclub you had to walk through to get to the elevator that brought you up to the rooms in the building. Streets full of so many drunk people I have never seen in the same place before. Been traveling budget for many years but this beats it all. Mostly youngsters drunk out. Only positive was the earp... Very very small rooms but the worst is the noise from the bar on the main floor and the bars on either side. We were booked for three sleep for three nights.don't book this hotel room unless you are part of the all night bar scene and want to party till 4 am ( that is when the noise stops and you might catch a few winks).

This is a 'nite' club. Don't be fooled. If you're coming for a night of shifting, come here. If you're coming because you want a nice hotel experience, don't bother. The earplugs do nothing for the inescapable bass of the club. The noise continues well after 3:30am, sometimes by on-street chanting and horns beeping. Here are some of the things you can expect, if you are lucky enough: - A toilet seat that isn't attached - A mouldy bathroom - A bin with a lid that is broken off - Extraction fan t... Read more

Stayed one night in this hotel because our hotel was oversold. The room was tiny but I will say it was clean and the bathroom was a decent size. The nightclub below literally shook the room until 4:00am and when we finally got to sleep, we were awakened at 8:00 am with jackhammers doing repairs directly below our windows. The worst part...... The price was higher than we have paid in Dublin at any other hotel. Don't do it.......

This hotel is for young people who like the nightlife during all hours of the evening, hence the ear plugs that the hotel provides and leaves next to you night stand. Although the rooms are updated the hotel is better suited for students studying abroad, plenty of sleeping space. Rethink this location based on your company. We also had a hard time getting back into the hotel in the evening having to show several forms of ID, room keys and such, interestingly no security to be found.

Myself and my husband stayed here last week. We had a very spacious room on the first floor. We visited the nightclub but felt we were a bit old for the crowd in there and we're only 29! It is noisy when trying to get to sleep but thats to be expected given where it is. Its a lovely hotel. Staff are extremely pleasant and the breakfast was pretty good.
