Went for this option as it was a reasonable price. Rooms were ok...but it's not a hotel !! It's student campus type accommodation. Still that's not really a problem. The staff don't seem to be properly trained to accommodation standards, and lack in customer service. Indeed, my young daughter (4yrs old) got sick in the corridor and we were embarrassed and apologetic but all the staff member said to us when we reported this was "you can clean it up yourself !". Now we had already cleaned up, and ... Read more

Stayed here one night for a business trip. Rooms are spotless and comfortable. It's very basic but is close to dundrum for shopping / food / drinks if needed. Only downside for me was needed to do an online business meeting during my stay and the wifi was awful, also very limited phone signal which was a bit of a set back given it is part of the management institute and caters to businesses. This aside though the stay was fine and comfortable.

This is hard to find as Google brings you to a housing estate which is not too far away from hotel but I had to ring hotel for directions. It is a college and looks that way but is off the road and has ample parking and gardens so very quiet. Driving in follow the road and go around to right of first building to the residence behind. Not well signposted. Staff were really helpful and room clean and bright. No shower hat provided. There is no restaurant but at reception they have take away menus.... Read more

Booked the IMI Residence on a rugby weekend because of the cheap price. Located in a lovely quiet area of Dublin but really there was not much else going for it. The whole facility appeared well used. The bedroom was basic although the beds were comfortable. The bathroom could have done with a good clean and I refused to use the shower. Breakfast was included in the price but I could not bring myself to eat there. As the man says you get what you pay for!!

I spent two nights and was disappointed by the experience. My room was cold, there was nowhere to get anything to eat in the evening and nobody in reception out of hours. Breakfast was simply appalling - the worst I have experienced in years, anywhere in the world! I was on a gluten and dairy free diet at the time and there was nothing I could eat at all! Not even some cornflakes! When I told the staff, they simply could not care less.

This residence offers clean, comfortable and warm double bedrooms. It is excellent value for money. Parking is plentiful and free. Breakfast is basic but I would definitely stay here again. It isn't a hotel so don't expect room service etc.

My husband and I stayed in this soulless place last night as we were at a concert nearby. It was truly hideous. For starters we paid nearly 3 times the normal rateā?¬189, only to be told by our taxi driver that we had been totally ripped off. Seems they whacked their rates up and for it you get nothing!! It was like a ghost town and so sterile. The room is depressing and basic with a nice 1970's shower, no staff to be found anywhere and no bar. The piece de resistance was the 'breakfast' ... I stayed here recently with a friend for a concert - I emailed ahead to see if we could get an early check-in but decided to come at the usual check-in time of 2pm instead. When we arrived at 1:45 we were told our room would be ready at 2, over an hour later and the room still wasn't ready - any time we asked we were told "5 mins", "20 mins", "2 mins" which was really annoying as - if we had known the time we would have gone away and came back. What was even more annoying was that other parties ... Read more

We stayed at the imi residence for one night in July 2016. The rooms were clean and not dated which is always a plus. However the building is nothing like a hotel. I understand it says conference centre but you almost feel like your having an overnight stay in work. Very odd. The breakfast wasn't up to much with little selection but again it wasn't the worst. Wouldn't stay again but it was ok for what we paid.

Soulless concrete block, shower had mould on the silicon around the tray The toilet was stained and the carpet had an iron burn mark on it !!! Need I say any more ...... Breakfast was a diy set up .. The total lack of atmosphere reminded me of an eastern block military building Not even a cheap place in comparison with other hotels

This is a convenient fairly inexpensive conference style accommodation near Dundrum shopping centre. Buses stop outside on the road outside for the city. There's an optional breakfast offered. Rooms are quite large and comfortable. Good wifi provided. Shower en suite. Tea cider making facilities included.

My experience with the hotel was average, the room was lovely and the grounds were beautiful, but what made exceptional was a polish girl called Agga who with her warmth and welcome and helpfulness and her personality made this an exceptional experience for me and i wanted to publicly thank her and hope very soon to see her again. This girl could work in any hotel in any part of the world and just to be in her company people would go back just to see her alone. Also just to let people know -it i... Read more

Stayed here for a night in August and was surprisingly impressed it is on a college site but there are lovely gardens. The room was very modern and stylish the receptionist was very friendly it is not a hotel per say but is perfect if all you need is a bed and very reasonable for Dublin.

A friend and I stayed at IMI Residence in Dublin after a business trip to enjoy Dublin. Clean comfy and well presented room - I think we had an accessible room on the ground floor. Easily accessible via LUAS if you are willing to walk to LUAS stop. It takes you to St. Stephen Green in the heart of Dublin- about 15min. Also accessible via bus - hourly service if you are lucky. Tried and failed taking a taxi instead- so would not recommend using bus to get there. Breakfast: cold breakfast option... Read more

Arrived around 6pm - no room ready. "Previous guests "late checking out" (who let them do that?). "Will be 15 minutes", then 40 minutes later - "The rooms were ready all the time (smiling) they just forgot to tell me". During this time the staff were dealing with complaints of poor housekeeping over several days from one irate guest. Our "ready" room had no towels, one mug, half the lights weren't working and the tv remote control was inoperable. Complimentary bottled water not among those prese... Read more
