This is a lovely hotel. It is very clean and the food was very good. Fantastic selection for breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble..we asked for extra pillows and they were brought up straight away. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was minimal. The carpets were old throughout the hotel, and this resulted in me having hay fever throughout my stay. The location was bad. The view from the room was depressing. The view consisted of apartment block roof tops. The aircon did not work. It never produced warm air, even when the climate control was set to 30 degrees! Some rooms had an oil heater attached to the wall. Some did not. Even so, this failed to produce much heat. The staff were not always helpful, and would no... Read more

Stayed here last year on the exact same night with my other half as we work in hospitality and never get to see each other. Last year we had a wonderful time, So I decided to book again for the 26th of December. I booked the room months ago and when I arrived at the hotel they couldn't find my reservation!!!! The lady at the front desk asked for my all my details and etc which she still couldn't find my details. She explained that they changed from the hiltons system to Opera which must have... Read more

Stayed here last Saturday night for the first time as a Clayton hotel. Lot of noise from room above. Complained by phone to front desk. After some time I went down to the desk in person. Matter was sorted. Would have been good to get return call. Also, why not offer a complimentary breakfast. Can do better if this happens in the future. I write this as a member user of Clayton group of hotels and have experience of other Clayton establishments.

The hotel is a bit of a walk into the centre but there are constant taxis outside. The hotel itself is immaculate, the bar is large serving excellent food. There is also a comfortable lounge. All the staff are lovely and helpful. The room was cleaned every day and towels changed. It was a decent size, the only negatives were lack of hanging space and drawers and our room was underneath the gym and we were woke early a couple of mornings with people on the running machines and dropping weights... We stayed for 6 nights over the New Year period. We had stayed here several times before when it was a Hilton Doubletree and has always had a good experience. Sadly, the hotel has changed hands and is now a Clayton and the new management have very clearly set about cutting costs. This was evident in almost all areas. Concierge - not visible on arrival and somewhat disinterested. Waiting and Bar staff - generally poor English and a feeling they lacked any training. Bedroom - cold. No radi... Read more

The food is absolutely stunning well worth the money, hotel is clean and staff are helpful, the location of the hotel is about a 20 min walk from the main centre, however the hotel has a taxi rank right outside the hotel with regular availability of taxis, which are cheap enough into the centre, rooms are very Modern and plenty of space...would definitely go back

Spent two nights at the Doubletree Burlington Road and found it to be a decent hotel, in a decent location. If you need to make it to the city center, you'll need to grab a taxi. The cost between the hotel and the Temple Bar area was 11-12 Euro. The hotel itself was clean and modern. The rooms are of an adequate size with clean bathrooms. Our HHonors rooms did include the two bottles of water, but the keycard didn't work at the executive lounge. We had two rooms on our reservation, a double and... Read more

Stayed for one night on business as usual nearby Hilton was silly money. Check in good with friendly staff and usual doubletree cookies! Nice reception area, bar and restaurant. Rooms modern and clean. Bed comfortable. Good location. Certainly worth a stay.

Very enjoyable stay for the weekend. Great staff. Lovely food in the bar. The hotel was really busy with large numbers in functions both nights but no problem to this hotel. Definitely would stay again.
