Very accommodating hotel, had a wonderful stay both times I stayed once for hen party and then again at Christmas with family for panto altough family room was very big it was a little cold, but got extra blankets. Great spot for hen party as the have night club and restaurant. You can't couldn't hear the night club when we stayed at Christmas which was very good.

Thourghully enjoyed my time here. With a short walk to St Stephens green, shorter than it said on Google maps! The rooms were good, staff were friendly and keen to help and was so good we got queue jump and free entry to the bar/club downstairs. There was noise at night which wouldn't be accommodating for families however we had a very good time.

Stayed here for a stag do with 11 others and the groom. I was very apprehensive as its only a 3 star but from the second we arrived the hotel was absolutely fantastic. The pictures do not do the hotel justice, we had a quad room and 2 quin rooms and all 3 were to a fantastic standard. I wasn't aware that one of the best clubs in Dublin was also attached and got us free entry. I would be hesitant at going here in a couple but as a group it was fantastic. I stayed at this hotel from Friday 20th May to Sunday 22nd may for a hen party. All the staff were lovely , friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless. Their was loud music playing into the early hours, but I wasn't bothered by it as I was so tired. I had read reviews about the noise. It was nowhere near as bad as I'd expected. I can't comment on the food as we ate elsewhere. I had a great weekend. Thankyou to all the great staff at the harcourt hotel.

This hotel is what it is a weekend bed. Rooms are tidy but very basic if I wanted a relaxing weekend away I wouldn't come to this hotel. staff are friendly breakfast needs attention the cooked food was cold The bar menu is not very good needs more options we asked for toasted sandwiches we were told it's only what's on the menu. The noise level at night time is through the roof but it's a party area so that's to be expected

Upon entering the lobby one is faced with typical Dublin Georgian building. But there the beauty stopped for me. The room I had was small and the mattress far from an acceptable standard as in other hotels of the apparently same calibre. The bar is without atmosphere and the seating cheap and nasty. At night time it is filled with loud thumping music which makes it unpleasant (for me) to sit in. And then we come to breakfast. ‚?¨7 for a continental breakfast. A nice hotel with a good location in the southern part of the city centre of Dublin. The rooms are good. There is a bar at the back at the hotel so remember to brings ear-plugs. It is easy to walk to and from the city centre from the hotel. Safe area.

Great location and the nightclub/beer garden is well setup. Food was also very good and reasonably priced My main gripe was that we were placed in the 3 rooms that were situated under the beer garden. We were on a stag party and the agency we used booked these rooms on our behalf. There was no correspondence from the agency about this but that has nothing to do with the hotel and thus the overall rating is not affected by this. We asked to move rooms but they were fully booked; understandable c... Read more

This hotel was a brilliant choice for my hen do!! The staff were so friendly, rooms were clean and the atmosphere was amazing! The hotel has its own bar and nightclub! The location is great 10 min walk to shops/ 20 min to Temple bar or ‚?¨10 in a taxi! Would definitely return!!!

It hurts me to write a negative review because the staff at this hotel are excellent and most of what is wrong with the hotel isn't their fault. Bottom line, the rooms are old but fine and the noise is unbelievably excessive. Harcourt is a party street, please know this in advance. There are two big clubs, Copperhead Jacks and D2 (which is part of the hotel). There really is no quiet place. In the back you have the beer garden (which is nice), in front the crowds before and after the bars l... Read more

We booked a room for a hens dance dance class. The hotel were informed of the numbers of the party yet room was way too small for the event. We were also required to remove furniture from the room before we started the class. The staff behind the bar and in the reception were very unhelpful and some were boarder line rude. This was with the exception of Oscar who was extremely pleasant and helpful.

Yes its noisy, yes it has loud music and yes you wont sleep much but if that is what you are in Dublin for simply don't stay here. The place is brilliantly set up for a good session in Dublin. This is a perfectly nice hotel, nice staff, the rooms are adequate and have all the things you need. It is however situated above a pub/club called D2 which goes on very late and the music is loud and I mean loud. Even with earplugs and noise cancelling headphones the base vibrated though the room. The first night Ireland won the football and the music went on until 4am, the next evening a Thursday it went on until 2am which is apparently the norm. That a guy who stayed here with 24 other guys for a stag party and liked it, says all you need to know. The hotel offers hen and stag party stays at a reduced price, but at the other guests cost. Party, quarrels and screaming next door until six in the morning is no fun, but at Hartcourt this is in fact encouraged by their price policy. Staff is helpful and location is good, but will not stay here again.

Me and my party visit hotels often, and have certain niche "tastes" that requires a difficult balance of discretion and abandon in an establishment, as our activities often attract complaints from fellow guests. We were delighted with the Harcourt Hotel. Situated directly above a nightclub that plays 90s chart hits at ear-splitting volumes until 4am, we found that our collective cacophony was drowned out by the cheese-fest directly below, meaning we could get on with what we wanted to do in pri... The first thing to bear in mind when considering the Harcourt hotel is that it hosts a disco club in its ground floor. This means that on Friday and Saturday nights you shall NOT reserve any room, or you may end up in a room in the first floor like happened to us. The location is not good, besides the fact it's near the town center. It is near various clubs and music is loud throughout the night. I was here on business and unfortunately the rooms were not booked in my name. Very disappointed. It was so expensive - Dublin's hotels in general are very expensive for what you get. Generally worth at least $100-$200 less than what you pay. Got the most awful room right next to the hotel's night club. Unfortunately the hotel was booked out so I couldn't move rooms. They gave me ear plugs but that doesn't really block out the vibrations from the excessively loud bass. I know how hard it is to find somewhere to stay in Dublin but avoid this one. Shame.

Reasonably well placed for dublin nightlife and central attractions. A lovely reception area, a geat bar which serves food with a night club adjoining. Comfortable rooms but dont expect to sleep before the club closes. Not the place for a family but couples wanting to enjoy the early hours and groups on stag and hen parties will love it for a couple of days.

Lovely staff, relaxed atmosphere and well decorated, clean rooms! The single reason, unfortunately, that I wouldn't go back here is the noise generated by the hotel's own "D2" nightclub downstairs (even from the basement!) and the street noise that goes with it. Usually a heavy sleeper, I was kept awake on Friday night by such tunes as "Twistin' the Night Away" and "Walking on Sunshine", now I like these songs, but not when I want to sleep. Having said that, if you want to try a pair of new... Read more

I stayed in the Harcourt Hotel for a hen night, we got a bedroom for nine and two rooms for five. The two rooms for five were nice but the room for nine... It could do with a bit of TLC. Obviously the room is made for stags and hens but it was depressing. The staff at the reception were nice and friendly but some were very rude. One pushed past me and near knocked me over and never apologised, she just kept walking. Over all, I was happy enough with the hotel and the location but rude staff re... Read more

Stayed here for a lads getaway. The noise from the nightclub is bearable but I some of us were unable to sleep during club hours. Also, getting into the hotel was a chore as the bouncers needed significant proof that you belonged there. Overall, rooms absolutely fine, good showers, very clean and reception great. Just the added factor of a busy nightlife comes into play if you don't find it easy to sleep with some ambient noise.

I just wish I had read the reviews on here before booking this hotel. I could not agree more with the comments made. The photos advertising the place online make it look a lot classier than it was. My bathroom room was unclean and the room itself looked dated and in need of modernisation. I had no idea that the hotel was attached to a nightclub whilst this may be mentioned on the hotel site it was not on other sites like booking.com through whom I made the reservation. The location of my room me... Read more
