This is such a good quality hotel. Everything oozes luxury. The hotel was busy with a private function, which added to the atmosphere. Our room was very spacious, very clean, and modern. The bed was a super king size, and very comfortable. We didn't have to book out until midday, I loved the non urgency about our stay, which made the whole experience very relaxing. I can't wait to return.

We booked this hotel as part of a package with BA Holidays. The hotel is located around 10-15 min walk from St Stephens Green and lives up to the usual Doubletree standards. On arrival we were allocated rooms on the 6th floor. The hotel has recently been refurbished and the rooms were very comfortable with queen sized beds & all necessary conveinences. A friend and I stayed at this hotel for her birthday this weekend. From arrival I found the staff accommodating and professional and they even greeted us with a warm cookie. We had a twin room on the 5th floor which had a decent view of the front of the hotel. We had room service for breakfast which I'd give a solid 9/10. The hotel was about a 30 minute walk into the centre of town, but we did take in the more 'scenic' route. There are always taxis parked outside and it cost adound 9 euros to g... Read more

I have recently stayed in the hotel for one night. Firstly the room itself was lovely. very spacious and with a comfortable bed. However there were two main issues. Firstly, the plug sockets within the working desk seemed great at first but it soon became apparent it was not possible to plug a laptop plug into them without doing serous damage to the cable. Secondly the room was incredibly hot with no way to alter the temperature. The only way of getting an air flow was to open the window. Howev... Read more

I would give this a 2 1/2 . They did not warn us that construction started at 7am and there was no ac. If we opened the window then the drilling was awful. It was just so darn stuffy with 3 people in a room with no ac and sleeping through a construction site . The front desk said the clerk should have warned me of the noise . I didn't believe him for one minute that it was standard to do so .

The hotel had the best breakfast of any place we stayed in Ireland. There are great restaurants nearby for lunch and dinner. Taxis are reasonable. It is about 10 euros to Guiness or Trinity College. You can walk to Trinity or Grafton Road in about 20 minutes from hotel. Taxis wait outside this large hotel. Higher floors have AC but we didn't need it on 3rd floor. I would recommend it.

Booked into the Burlo by work. It's OK. Building not a looker! But rooms comfy and reasonably equipped. Shame there wasn't any double rooms available so in a twin. Worst thing is that no air con and whilst not hot today it's quite stuffy so you need the window open. Issue there is that there's a large development going ahead just outside with constant building noise/banging/shouting. It's nearly 6pm now and it's still going on. The staff were so helpful and polite The concierge was awesome, helped me out when i locked myself out of my suitcase. The onsite bar and restaurant were great, excellent food and drinks at reasonable prices (for Dublin). Taxi rank right outside as well as a bus stop which is ideal. Clean rooms, good service, great food and beverages. Great food and pubs located a short walk down the street in both directions. The staff are super friendly and professional. Only criticism is a suggestion to have more variety from day to day at breakfast. I was a guest for 14 days, and the same breakfast over and over again got monotonous.

My family ran the former Royal Hibernian and Russell Hotels in Dublin so I can appreciate a well run hotel and know it can be challenging for the staff. We look forward to our next visit to Dublin and another stay at this great hotel.

The location of the hotel is very convenient, just 12 minutes walk from Grafton Street. The rooms were clean, relatively small and hadn't enough closet and drawer space. Water pressure was low. Most importantly, they were no soundproof, so that the loud noise caused by the large construction site behind the hotel (from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) was unbearable. Buffet breakfast was of high quality but lacked a wide variety of choices. Generally, staff were friendly and helpful. However, those at the rece... Read more

Firstly I love the warm cookie on arrival. I've stayed here a few times business and this is a really nice hotel, stylish rooms, great bar area a warm staff. Location wise is great for me it's not in the thick of it, but still n a good position. The only current downside of staying here is the building work which is going on next to the hotel, make sure you ask for a room not facing (I didn't) the building site as Lorraine's and work does start early, may not be an issue if there on business, ... Myself and my family stayed here the start of July as part of my 21st birthday present. Hotel is fab inside and rooms well kept with warm cookies on arrival which were delicious :) had dinner in the restaurant / bar on the Friday night food fab but my mum had brought a cake just to sing happy birthday to mark the occasion again and had left the cake with the waiter he then came out with the cake still in the plastic bag and handed it to my mam to sort out ! Great location for business events >300 people. Rooms are very clean and very well arranged. The Hotel is very close to the city centre, making it easy to tour the city of Dublin. The staff was very obliging and always friendly and willing to help - from the front desk clerks to the very special Concierge Mr. Tom. Thank you for making our stay a very pleasant one, we hope to visit again.

Hotels in Dublin are on the pricey side, and this Double Tree seems to keep the message on the positive side. The rooms are on the clean side and the TV is a 32inch or larger. Overall a great place conveniently located near Shopping and Bars. Great free Wi-Fi also.

There is no a/c in the rooms, we had the window open and the noise was awful. To be honest for the price I paid for the room I can honestly say I prefer the premier inn. The only difference is the bars and the cookie you get on arrival

Had a great stay as you'd expect from Hilton, who are my hotel chain of choice! The breakfast selection was great and I really recommend getting a B&B rate. We did have some cocktails early afternoon afternoon and that was quite a slow process waiting for them to be made! Had some small bites from the bar menu and it was delicious. Only down point is the location. Either you have to walk half an hour to get to the main areas (Trinity College, Temple Bar etc) or get taxis.

The hotel rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel was busy but this didn't effect the service or noise. Not as central as other hotels I've stayed in Dublin but it's really only a short walk to the main areas, if you're walking anyway it's not a worry. I would stay again without hesitation.

Overall, very disappointed in this particular Hilton property. Staff polite but not friendly or particularly helpful. We had been in Ireland for over two weeks, staying at some wonderful hotels and B&Bs that much more luxurious and not nearly as expensive. I've been a Hilton Honors member for years and this was the first time I've ever been disappointed with one of the Hilton properties.

We stayed at this hotel for the Boston College vs. Georgia Tech game. The hotel was accommodating to our needs and even at a packed capacity it never felt over crowded. The bar and lobby are spacious. The rooms were comfortable and met our needs.

We stayed here over a very busy time, American Football and Hurling matches were at Aviva. The DoubleTree staff still had time and smiles to make my birthday special. My husband had told Hilton Honors that check-in day was also my birthday. We were greeted with a very warm welcome by the Front Desk. Upon my arrival at our room, there was a knock on the door and I was greeted by a staff member with a special dessert saying "Happy Birthday"and chocolates. Wow, thanks for going the extra mile... We stayed here for 5 nights with a group tour. Check-in service was quick even when the hotel was packed the night before we arrived and guests were still leaving. Great breakfast with no waiting time for seating. Highly recommend for anyone staying in Dublin for a few days. Only a 20 minute walk to Temple Bar area.

Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel (which far exceeds the Hilton Charlemont in my opinion!). Great staff and a nice atmosphere. We missed breakfast in the executive lounge through our own fault but that was remedied very quickly when we invited to eat (lovely choice and quality) at the main breakfast hall instead. The restaurant manager could not have been nicer and it was nice to reminisce with him about my last stay at the hotel when I celebrated my 21st birthday at Annabel... Read more

Ideal location for a city break. Beautiful hotel. When checking in which was very fast and friendly, we received 2 lovely hot chocolate cookies delicious. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated and the accommodation team serviced the room very well. My wife forgot her deodorant so she phoned reception and with in 5 minutes they dropped one to the door. Breakfast was absolutely fabulous in a very elegant dining room. The bar was also very modern .

We stayed at the Doubletree from 10th to 12th September to celebrate my birthday, I was a bit concerned about the location but we found it easy enough to get out sightseeing etc. From outside Dublin Airport we took the Aircoach (Route 700) which dropped us off directly outside the hotel and cost 28 Euro return for 2 people, (I pre-booked it online) and it took @ 35mins and the driver was very helpful. A short stay but everything was perfect. One small thing - I never got the wake up call I was promised but conveniently there was an alarm clock in the room so it didn't really matter. Everything else was spot on. Excellent facilities in the room. Polite staff. Very clean and comfortable. Everything was easy which on a short business trip is what its all about.

When I booked the Double tree last weekend to attend a family wedding, I was a bit apprehensive, this was basically because of all the changes that have been taking place with this and a number of sister hotels in Dublin over the last few years. I need not have been concerned because the whole experience was very pleasant! Quick, pleasant check-in with complimentary chocolate cookies! We requested a low floor and this wasn't a problem. The room (307) albeit "compact" was perfectly clean offering... Read more

We were upgraded to an executive room for this stay by Double Tree as result of being over disco room the last time we were here but were suprised that executive room was not that much bigger if at all. Bar was very nice and staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was really good with excellent choices of food hot and cold - as good as it gets in Dublin!. The bus drops you right outside the hotel. Taxi costs no more than 25 euros from the airport. Upon arrival I was greeted and checked in quickly and I was also given a complimentary warm chocolate cookie. The room was nice clean and comfortably to stay in. I'm staying in what I consider to be quite an expensive room here and it's nice - good size, lovely king-size bed, nice bathroom. The hotel reception area was nice and the service at reception was good. However. I'm sitting typing this wearing earphones, because the building work outside the hotel is loud, driving me to distraction and I can't get any work done! I've asked to be moved and it seems it's not possible ... but then I imagine this must surely be affecting many rooms on this side of... Read more

I stayed here several weeks ago, however I can only write now that my insurance has been cleared. I left my Rolex watch in the room of the hotel, checked out, got straight into my car and drove straight back home. Once I got home I realised I had left my watch on the bed. I phoned the hotel straight away, after several attempts the housekeeping manager told me that my watch was never found. This is a very nice hotel a short bus ride from the city center, as they call it. The staff was very helpful. We tried to find hotels in Dublin with 2 double beds but we found that a double and twin seems to be the usual maximum. The rooms don't have the space. They also didn't have AC in the rooms but did have an oscillating fan which we used. They weather was a high of about 75F so it was bearable. There is also a building being built next door so don't plan on sleeping past 7am.
