Great location, friendly service and HUGE breakfast in the morning. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We try and stay here whenever we go to Dublin as you can't beat the value and it has everything you need.

This is really a B&B. Room was very clean with marble bathroom, small but effective but with v limited toiletries. Well lit room - which would allow writing or reading, but there is no easy chair and no desk - nothing beyond the basics. Heating was available only at certain hours. Staff were cheery and helpful and breakfast was good -which is usual in Dublin..

The smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in, but the more time I spent here, the more it grew on me. I could have stayed out by the airport in a generic box, as I was only in town for one night before flying to Montreal. There is plenty of Old-World charm and lots of friendly, welcoming faces at the Dergvale. The staff were a joy, in fact: enjoying a chat and happily giving advice about the city. At one point we asked if we could use their bar area to do some work and they were extremely accommodating: cranking up the heating for us and bringing us free tea and biscuits. The hotel is in a fantastic location, just near the north end of O'Connell Street and is set amongst a street of lovely old Georgian building... Read more

5 of us stayed at Dergvale. We really liked it. They have rooms with one small bed, three small beds, one big bed( 2 people can sleep), one bug and one small bed ( 3 people can sleep). The rooms are clean and so are the bathrooms. My bed sheets smelled very clean. All rooms have TV and a hair drier. At 8 am they start serving breakfast: eggs, bacon, bread, cereals, muesli and orange juice. It is not a buffet. You will have to order what you want. The In keepers are very friendly and nice.
